@Game_n_Watch_it_pal There was a patent for an unnamed DK movie for the future (probably 2028). I doubt he’ll make an appearance here because they paid so much homage to the Kongs and their history in the first Mario Movie.

@N00BiSH that’s why we’re all so excited to watch the Legend of Zelda movie who have casted two nobody’s for the main roles.

IMO If you wanna pickup the trailer at another point when it’s freely available, go right ahead. I think it’s cool and unique that Nintendo cares so much about their characters in movies that they want to take special time to show it to people that really want to tune in to it early.

@Kirbyo I agree! This seems like such a scattered plot of ideas from babies and toad to toad with peach in the casino, and bowser turning big with bowser jr and Rosalina taking over the film. Not to mention Yoshi being such a large part of this too. Can’t wait to see it!

The really cool thing about the sequel being called Super Mario World is that Yoshi’s first in-game appearance was in the game Super Mario World on the SNES. So that matches up really nicely with the post credit scene of The Super Mario Bros. Movie where a Yoshi egg appears, hinting at the fact that Yoshi will play a very significant role in the movie.
