So happy about this. Been waiting for more info on V for 4 years and now they double bubble a remaster in the news. Highlight of the direct by a country mile 😃

Will be using my gold points from downloading ACNH to buy it later tonight

I picked up my switch on launch day 3 years ago and played BOTW on my lunch break and have been hooked ever since.

Downloaded a few launch games, I am setsuna, Fast RMX and Shovel Knight.

Played BOTW solid till Disgaea 5 came out in Europe. Then after that dipped into some random genres as the releases picked up steam. Now I can’t possibly keep up.

I love JRPG’s and this console has been a glorious way to play new ones and relive old final fantasy memories from my childhood.

Sold my Xbox one 7 months after launch and haven’t looked back since. I have played more games and managed to squeeze the time in than any other console.

The last time I played this much was at the advent of pc gaming with home built pentium 1/2/3 machines of many descriptions.

I think the next direct will be after animal crossing releases as there are two Nintendo games in March. I’m in no rush with a mega backlog to work through.

3 years on and I am still impressed by how fun and engaging the switch is. Playing Langrisser demo today on train.

I even got my brother one as an engagement gift and will get a lite as my work 15 year anniversary gift. With a potential upgrade to a pro if it ever comes then I will part with my launch day machine to my mum who loves Mario.

This console makes me want to play more games and I love that about it.

Really happy to get Doom 3 for free with my gold points as had picked up the other releases earlier. Works great in handheld.

Langrisser 1 and 2 demos, not much time for gaming but should be able to fit these in ready for release in March

Will download the Langrisser demo as soon as I get home 🏠

Was the first route I did, big golden deer 🦌 fan. Voice actor has done amazing fan interaction on social media, kudos from me 👍🏻

COD and fifa at the top is no surprise in the uk market. Really glad to see Yakuza get it’s day in the sun no matter how short lived it may be. GTAV feels like it will never leave the top 10, rock star must be making some serious bank out of that puppy.

Tbh I’m happy that just the evergreen Nintendo titles are in the uk top 10 as this would never happen pre switch days.

Just finished the Cindered shadows FE3H dlc last night. Probably going to go back to Cat Quest 2 today.

Although I did pick up Tokyo mirage sessions on Friday I think I will finish FFXII before even considering that one.

Happy to see Fire emblem three houses take another award.

Still have 2 routes to play through, leaving a decent time and playing other titles in between.

Also what I have played so far if the dlc released yesterday has been awesome 😎

I just picked up Tokyo Mirage sessions today actually. Would have got it on release but had other priorities, will play it after finishing what I am currently playing.

Looking forward to Trials of mana, Bravely Default 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles remastered. 3 wants all before an early year direct, 2020 is going to be great.

@Barbara001 totally agree, such a crazy backlog. Loved my switch since launch day. Fire emblem DLC today 😃 in no rush for a direct. I am sure it will happen at some point. Will be pleasantly surprised when it does

Luckily I am getting a PS4 for The FFVII remake. So will get Persona 5 royal after I’m done with that. Unless of course a Nintendo direct announces a Persona 5 release first

Have to agree, I love Heist. Didn’t get in that well with Dig 2 but love the art style. But Heist did it for me

Just watched the new trailer for FFVII remake, super hyped. But this weekend I am continuing with FFXII zodiac age and Cat quest 2

On my wishlist, will probably pick this up after I finally decide to get Switcher3 and complete it. Looks superb though, my cup of tea

Square Enix has been there from day 1 my favourite 3rd party developer. I should know as I downloaded I am Setsuna, Fast RMX and Shovel Knight treasure trove on launch.

More than enough decent third party support. I have the biggest backlog I have ever had on the Switch.

Playing through Cat quest 2 now it’s pretty awesome 👏 as for the first one when it came out originally. Supremely entertaining games

Counting down the days till Fire Emblem three houses DLC. 2 weeks today 😃. Have also purchased BOTW, Xenoblade 2 and Mario and Rabbids DLC.

Also highly anticipating the Pokemon DLC.

From a marketing standpoint it is a great way to keep the focus on Nintendo as social media talks about the games as each staggered pack releases. Ergo driving sales.

Well the base model of the switch is outselling the PS4 ten times over and with the Lite another five times over. You have to admit that Nintendo are indeed dominating their homegrown marketplace

Won’t be long before the Japanese switch and switch lite sales overtake the global sales of the Wii U. As combined they are at 11.87 million units sold

Awesome news, seems like the new line up confirms that this is a separate path to your main saves. Fantastic as I just did a route and didn’t want to do a whole other one so close together to play the DLC story

So my to buy list from this is

1. Tokyo mirage sessions
2. Pokemon expansion pass
3. Trials of mana
4. Bravely default 2
5. FF crystal chronicles
6. Xenoblade Chronicles

That is already a lot to play before any direct announcement. Completely ignoring my heinous backlog of course.

Catquest 2 as I downloaded the demo and it reminded me how much I loved the first one. So I am having a purrfect time with that.

Also started FFXII this week as got it for Xmas. I’m glad I don’t remember much from my ps2 playthrough in original release so it’s like a fresh new experience.

Considering last years first Nintendo direct we got the Sqenix mega FF drop. Here’s hoping that in this years initial direct we get a release of the Kingdom hearts collection so I can catch up. Have only played the first one on PS2.

Also with a Pokemon direct in the first week of the year followed by a Smash/Fire emblem direct this week fingers crossed we get a Nintendo direct next week to keep up the momentum. But that is just dreaming I guess.

Now we have that sorted and once Doom eternal and Doom 64 release can we get Quake 1-3 please so I can relive some fragging good childhood memories

Wow I don’t have a single game in the top 10 of the decade list which does not surprise me even slightly.

I did love FPS back in the day of Quake 1-3 and Unreal Tournament. The only FPS I have brought recently is Doom 1+2. Will get Doom 3 when I get an SD card upgrade as my launch 200gb is almost full.

Will be getting Tokyo mirage sessions in the future physically

Well that is good news as up till yesterday Nintendo’s website said wave 4 was dropping 30/04/20.

Considering I just finished my 2nd playthrough yesterday with Crimson flower route and started FFXII playthrough. It gives me a deadline to finish that by.

Half way through my 2nd playthrough of Fire Emblem 3 houses, can’t wait for the meat of the DLC content for this game

DQXIS hopefully I am a session away from grinding my team up enough to beat the final big bad. Fresh and ready to start a new run on Three houses on my days off of Monday and Tuesday

Sold one in the first half hour of opening today. Surprised at the price of £24.99. Should sell gang busters if marketed well enough. The UK advert with that and Ring fit adventure to capitalise on the new year get fit market seemed a smart idea

I’m glad FE 3 houses is there. Will be going back for my 2nd playthrough after DQXIS

Will look forward to this in a few years. Hopefully there will be less of a gap between eastern and western releases with the superb sales numbers DQXIS has seen

Wow, so happy that DQXIS and FE3H made the top spots as they have been my MVPs of the year. Will go back and do more routes in FE3H eventually

Fire emblem three houses and Dragonquest xis are easily the best games of the year in my mind

Picked up Collection of mana as have been waiting for it to go on sale and FF8 remake to round out the PS1 classic collection on my switch. Getting 12 for Xmas and will import FfX/X2 eventually but no rush as have a never ending backlog to play

Dragon quest xis and Fire emblem three houses are my top games of the year

Hopefully will finish DQXIS tmw on a day off. Back to work Monday and then I have tons of back log to play. Maybe DQ1-3 if I can fit them in.

Love this game, just hit 100 hours the other day. Wrapping up the side quests and Tickington now before I finish the true ending

@Marios-love-child I have to agree I was a day one adopter after being won over by the marketing.

I just have to say wow this console is the best console I have ever owned and has encouraged me to try out lots of new games. It is flexible to many differing situations and is truly a joy to play.

Finished up with Pokemon sword earlier in the week although I will be revisiting over Christmas to do max raids with my bro and fill in more of the Pokedex.

Back onto the Dragon quest Xis train. Into the post game content and it is fantastic so far. It is the game that keeps on giving.

So happy 😀 for this. Was my birthday purchase as came out two days before. So addictively brilliant - especially the fishing 🎣 mini game. Will go back and do the other paths once I have some time.

2020 is shaping up to be another decent year for JRPG’s on the switch. With Trials of mana remake, Tokyo mirage sessions, Xenoblade chronicles and now Bravely Default 2. That is before we get the inevitable January direct. I am going to be very busy and that is before tackling my crazy backlog
