Cry me a river. These things happen all the time in the gaming business. Do you think yours is a special case? Look at how other franchises have evolved through the years: 3D Mario, Donkey Kong, Fire Emblem, F-Zero and Animal Crossing, just to name a few.

Never liked the guy before the revelations came out, so this is kind of cool for me, not having to see him in one of the games I play.

I had no idea that they said as much. Unfortunately I don't understand why they can't publish a review, even from one of their freelancers, and if they're worried about "politics", couldn't they just leave the comment section closed? Seems like a lot of trouble to avoid a perceived headache.

They definitely could, but considering the staggering rise of inflation over the Switch's lifetime, $299.99 USD is still a great value. Consider how Microsoft and Sony have INCREASED their prices in recent years...

I can understand why they maybe wanted to do this for generations 1 and 2, but I think they went too far with the idea. I remember how jarring it was hearing what the new cries were while playing through X.

After B2/W2, Pokémon X and Y were such major disappointments that I haven't returned to the series since, for better or worse. Also hated how they unnecessarily changed prior Pokémon cries.

I do like the concept. Might check it out next month.

Very blessed that I have the cart with all 3 games on it.

Call me stupid, but some of the new Pokémon look like Yo-kai monsters.

Received my copy in the mail today. Couldn't order it from any of the big box stores, but randomly found a small gaming store based out of Delaware that had it in stock, so I snagged it while I could.

F-Zero. 15 year old me loved the game, but could never finish Queen League due to a certain little course named White Land II. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to clear the long jump. I must've tried it dozens of times before I accidentally touched the D-pad and figured out the trick to the jump.
