@nhSnork Lol I've never really been into PC gaming outside of the games that I've already mentioned until recently. I'm even interested in streaming my games and art work once I can afford an actual ISP instead of having to use my phone's hotspot data.
I've gotta get a lot of other stuff done first, though. I've gotta get my room finished, then I have to buy things like a capture card. I know that the Elgato cards are good, but they're out of my price range at the moment.
As far as my Switch goes, there's still a ton of games that i wanna get for it. So far I've mainly got free to play games, but my family bought me Immortals: Feynix Rising and Assassin's Creed III Remastered and I managed to pick up Duke Nukem 3D recently, too. That one brought back a lot of memories!
@nhSnork I don't think I've heard of the Fujitsu brand. I have a used HP Compaq Pro 6300 Small Form Factor with only 8 GB. I don't even have an SSD in it and currently the only games I've played on it are Chess, Solitaire, and Sims 3.
One of these days, I'm gonna try to get at least a GTX 1050ti. I've seen people on YouTube running DOOM Eternal on an HP Compaq Elite 8300 with that card, so I'm hoping that my 6300 will be able to pull it off, too.
@gameboy-x They're not for any game. They're for you when someone else tries playing whatever your most anticipated game is on your profile, potentially making you miss some important story elements lol
@LunarLunatone @EliteXeos I think Epic said that Fortnight is gonna be moved over to UE5 not long after the UE5/PS5 presentation, so that could probably be considered the first confirmed UE5 game on Switch.
If I remember correctly, not long after the Wii was released, somebody at Nintendo, most likely Miyamoto, said that Nintendo is always working on new hardware.
There's a few controllers I'd like to get. I especially like the looks of that PowerA FUSION Pro controller. I like that it's wireless with a rechargeable battery, has 4 programmable buttons, and that it includes motion controls and swappable parts. I just wish it had some form of rumble to round out the package.
I've never been a fan of the Yu Gi Oh anime nor the manga, but I did have a demo disc for the PC version of a Yu Gi Oh game way back in the mid to late 90's, and I remember enjoying it quite a bit. I doubt that I'll be getting this, though, even if it does come to the west.
I can't wait for Apex Legends! I've been wanting to play it ever since I first saw gameplay of it, but I don't have a Playstation, XBOX, or a gaming PC.
I ordered a PowerA Enhanced Wired controller (my first Switch pro controller) last Saturday and I'll be getting it on Wednesday just a few days before Apex's release!
I never had an XBOX, so I didn't even know this game existed. I watched a short gameplay video of it and I couldn't help but notice that this game seems to have some elements that may have inspired DOOM 2016 and DOOM Eternal with the character looking at his helmet before putting it on and him also having a blade on his left arm for melee.
Of all the Star Wars games out there, I've only ever played Star Wars Racer, Rogue Squadron, & Rogue Squadron II. I know Racer is already on the Switch - I just have to get my Joy-Con's repaired - so here's hoping that Aspyre can get their hands on Rogue Squadron I, II, & III for more ports!
I've never really cared for Crash Bandicoot, but I wouldn't mind some Tony Hawk games making their way to the Switch.
What I really want, though, is for them to show the Switch some love with some Call of Duty. Preferably the ones set in modern times. I'm still waiting on a sequel to Ghosts...
I'd also welcome Warzone with open arms, since I just recently found out that my cousins that live in Arkansas - I'm in Oklahoma - play it a lot on their PS4's. Of course I'd also be hoping for cross-platform play, too.
They already allow us to connect our Nintendo Network ID to their Call of Duty website, right? I'd say it's passed time for us to do something with that!
I completely forgot about Capcom vs SNK 2. I'll have to keep an eye out for it as it'll look good sitting right next to my copy of Marvel vs Capcom 2!
I've not played any Capcom vs SNK game, so I'd love to see one come to the Switch. In fact, I've not played any SNK game outside of Samurai Shodown on Sega Genesis way back in the day. I've got some catching up to do lol
To complete the experience you can also pick up the Hori Real Arcade Pro V Hayabusa controller and the Myriann DIY hardwood arcade cabinet! https://youtu.be/OxJ0juxJ_Fg
@WoomyNNYes BotW is the reason I bought my Wii U. I bought the Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle on Black Friday of 2014 because BotW was scheduled to release in 2015, but then I had to watch as the game got delayed 2 or 3 times. It's all good, though, as I got to enjoy plenty of other games while I waited.
@WoomyNNYes @Crockin The same thing happened to me with Ocarina of Time. I preordered it, but I didn't even open it until a couple of weeks later while I finished up games like Diddy Kong Racing, but once I put Ocarina in for the first time, I very rare played any of my other games.
@Lordd_G my local Walmart still has an arcade center, but in the 20 years that I've lived here, I've never seen anybody play any of the games in there...
@Retro_Player_77 "CD Rom was still very slow and the tech to run it was still very weak at the time. Had Nintendo use it Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 would be loaded with load times and required tons of data spread across multiple disc."
Finally a decent explanation. I've seriously spent many occasions trying to figure out how Capcom managed to cram 2 discs worth of content onto one cartridge when they released the N64 version of Resident Evil 2 lol
@KITG_GROUP Thanks. I'll check it out. Last I looked on Ebay, the parts totaled around $50, but they also came with the tools to take the system apart.
With all the new and classic fighting game franchises appearing on the Switch, I think Bamco would do good to bring SoulCalibur and/or Tekken to the platform. While I'm on the subject, Sega should revive some of their fighters.
@electrolite77 will do. Does it require internet access or just a wifi connection? Because I only have internet on my phone which gives me 10GB of hotspot data a month.
@Trajan I forgot about remote play. I'll look into it if I can ever get a PS4. I'm unemployed at the moment, so by the time I get that kind of money, the PS5 & XBSX will probably be in stores and I'd really like to get one of them.
@Trajan I see where you're coming from, but I don't have a PS4, XB1, or a gaming PC. Even if I did, there are times when I want to watch TV while someone else wants to play the game and i only have one TV.
@edgedino 3 is awesome. My cousin used to have it on his PS2, but he accidentally ruined it when he found out that one of the cheats he put in couldn't be turned off.
I can't remember what it was called, but it made everybody in the game turn against him. He even tried turning the PS2 off and back on, but that didn't fix it.
@edgedino Yes! Thank you for reminding me. I haven't played a Soul Calibur game since the original on Dreamcast, both of which I still have. I would love a Soul Calibur on my Switch.
I'd like to see Cyberpunk 2077, RDR2, & GTAIV. I'm a huge fan of open world games.
I also really like first person shooters & fighting games, but I can't think of any aren't already on/coming to the Switch with the exception of Tekken & COD.
@TheLightSpirit I didn't mean to sound like I was mocking anybody. I was just lolling at the way you worded your comment. I'd never heard the phrase "giggle snorting" before.
The only reason I ever played Socom was because my cousins & uncles played it. It was like a family affair. There were a lot of cheaters, but we weren't any of them.
I agree with you about what the Pokemon Company are doing. I haven't played many online games recently because the only internet access I have at the moment is through my phone's 10GB hotspot, but I think I've heard of other companies doing something similar.

Re: Switch Pro Rumours Intensify As New Retailer Listing Appears Online
Of course it's happening. Miyamoto once said that Nintendo is always working on new hardware.
It's only a matter of when it'll be officially revealed.

Re: Dragon Quest XII: The Flames Of Fate Is Running On Unreal Engine 5
@sword_9mm I was talking about Fortnight. Last year, during the UE5 reveal, Epic said that Fortnight would be moved to UE5.
As for Resident Evil Village, that runs on Capcom's own RE Engine. The same engine that powers Monster Hunter Rise.
Re: Dragon Quest XII: The Flames Of Fate Is Running On Unreal Engine 5
@Giancarlothomaz Epic has confirmed that UE5 supports the Switch.

Re: Dragon Quest XII: The Flames Of Fate Is Running On Unreal Engine 5
I don't know when we'll see it, but I know I can't wait. I only ever played the demo of DQXI S, but I loved it!
After seeing what UE5 can do on PS5 and XSX, I bet this game's gonna look great.

Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Do More DLC For Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Or Just Release Mario Kart 9 Already?
I wouldn't mind just getting more DLC, and a new entry in the series would be awesome, too.
It would be cool if they could do a career or campaign mode. I just don't see them being able to add much more, gameplay, beyond that.
Re: Epic Secures $1 Billion In Funding, With Sony Investing Another $200 Million

Re: Video: Hot Wheels Unleashed Dev Releases First Official Gameplay Trailer
