Re: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Switch Port Is Finally Confirmed

TheJamesHollan

@nhSnork Lol I've never really been into PC gaming outside of the games that I've already mentioned until recently. I'm even interested in streaming my games and art work once I can afford an actual ISP instead of having to use my phone's hotspot data.

I've gotta get a lot of other stuff done first, though. I've gotta get my room finished, then I have to buy things like a capture card. I know that the Elgato cards are good, but they're out of my price range at the moment.

As far as my Switch goes, there's still a ton of games that i wanna get for it. So far I've mainly got free to play games, but my family bought me Immortals: Feynix Rising and Assassin's Creed III Remastered and I managed to pick up Duke Nukem 3D recently, too. That one brought back a lot of memories!

@nhSnork I don't think I've heard of the Fujitsu brand. I have a used HP Compaq Pro 6300 Small Form Factor with only 8 GB. I don't even have an SSD in it and currently the only games I've played on it are Chess, Solitaire, and Sims 3.

One of these days, I'm gonna try to get at least a GTX 1050ti. I've seen people on YouTube running DOOM Eternal on an HP Compaq Elite 8300 with that card, so I'm hoping that my 6300 will be able to pull it off, too.

I can't wait for Apex Legends! I've been wanting to play it ever since I first saw gameplay of it, but I don't have a Playstation, XBOX, or a gaming PC.

I ordered a PowerA Enhanced Wired controller (my first Switch pro controller) last Saturday and I'll be getting it on Wednesday just a few days before Apex's release!

Re: Star Wars: Republic Commando Appears To Be On The Way To Switch

TheJamesHollan

I never had an XBOX, so I didn't even know this game existed. I watched a short gameplay video of it and I couldn't help but notice that this game seems to have some elements that may have inspired DOOM 2016 and DOOM Eternal with the character looking at his helmet before putting it on and him also having a blade on his left arm for melee.

Of all the Star Wars games out there, I've only ever played Star Wars Racer, Rogue Squadron, & Rogue Squadron II. I know Racer is already on the Switch - I just have to get my Joy-Con's repaired - so here's hoping that Aspyre can get their hands on Rogue Squadron I, II, & III for more ports!

Re: Get Ready For More Remasters From Activision Blizzard In 2021

I've never really cared for Crash Bandicoot, but I wouldn't mind some Tony Hawk games making their way to the Switch.

What I really want, though, is for them to show the Switch some love with some Call of Duty. Preferably the ones set in modern times. I'm still waiting on a sequel to Ghosts...

I'd also welcome Warzone with open arms, since I just recently found out that my cousins that live in Arkansas - I'm in Oklahoma - play it a lot on their PS4's. Of course I'd also be hoping for cross-platform play, too.

They already allow us to connect our Nintendo Network ID to their Call of Duty website, right? I'd say it's passed time for us to do something with that!

Re: Looks Like One Of Video Gaming's Greatest Crossovers Is Coming To Switch

TheJamesHollan

I completely forgot about Capcom vs SNK 2. I'll have to keep an eye out for it as it'll look good sitting right next to my copy of Marvel vs Capcom 2!

I've not played any Capcom vs SNK game, so I'd love to see one come to the Switch. In fact, I've not played any SNK game outside of Samurai Shodown on Sega Genesis way back in the day. I've got some catching up to do lol

@Retro_Player_77 "CD Rom was still very slow and the tech to run it was still very weak at the time. Had Nintendo use it Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 would be loaded with load times and required tons of data spread across multiple disc."

Finally a decent explanation. I've seriously spent many occasions trying to figure out how Capcom managed to cram 2 discs worth of content onto one cartridge when they released the N64 version of Resident Evil 2 lol

Re: The Pokémon Company Begins To Ban Sword And Shield Players Who Deliberately Disconnect From Online Battles

TheJamesHollan

@TheLightSpirit I didn't mean to sound like I was mocking anybody. I was just lolling at the way you worded your comment. I'd never heard the phrase "giggle snorting" before.

The only reason I ever played Socom was because my cousins & uncles played it. It was like a family affair. There were a lot of cheaters, but we weren't any of them.

I agree with you about what the Pokemon Company are doing. I haven't played many online games recently because the only internet access I have at the moment is through my phone's 10GB hotspot, but I think I've heard of other companies doing something similar.
