Re: Guide: Fortnite On Nintendo Switch - Release Date, Battle Pass Pricing, Motion Controls And Exclusive Content

I've never played Fortnite, but it's pretty cool of you guys to do a guide for a game that's being heavily rumored to be coming to the Switch. You should probably also do one for Paladins as it seems to have the same evidence that Fortnite has.

@Desa It's the whole "not everybody has access to good Wi-Fi" thing. For instance, you may live in an area where good Wi-Fi is readily available at lots of places, but I don't. In fact, the only two places that I know for sure that have Wi-Fi are my house and Walmart about 20 miles away from me and we already have over 10 devices that connect to my router through Wi-Fi which can bog it down at times, so playing a game that's online only would not be a good experience for me. Plus, my internet is satellite internet.

Now if it supported offline, local multiplayer, that'd be cool!

Interesting. Ocarina of Time is still my favorite Zelda game, but I haven't played it in so long that I forgot about the Sage that you meet in the Temple of Time. I can't even remember his name.

I do have another question, though. If those 7 monks represent the 7 Sages, then what about the 7 heroins statues in BotW?

I only ask because OoT and BotW are the only 2 Zelda games that I've played through to the end.

Re: Soapbox: Nintendo Switch Learned A Lot From Wii U’s Struggles During Its Own First Year

TheJamesHollan

I love my Wii U, but it has had at least one problem. It has started to not recognize the games that I put in it.

It started with Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition. The game worked fine for a few months, but then it started crashing when I would get near some enemies. It eventually got to where it wouldn't even load the game. The disc didn't have any smudges or scratches on it. I also had Assassin's Creed III at around the same time and the same exact thing happened to it.

I thought the problem was behind me after I got rid of those games, but apparently it's started again, this time affecting Call of Duty: Ghost and - most frustratingly - Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (the game that I bought my Wii U for).

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend?

TheJamesHollan

From my current Wii U collection I can tell you what games I'm NOT playing this weekend: BotW & CoD: Ghosts.

When I try to play either one of them, I get the error code 150-2031. If anyone can help me with that without having to send the Wii U in for repairs - which I can't afford - it would be much appreciated.

That said, my niece and nephews have been playing Assassin's Creed IV & Mass Effect 3 while I have been getting reacquainted with Mario Kart 8 all on the Wii U.
