I don't have this on Switch yet, but one of the last few pictures that I took of this game on my Wii U - through Miiverse - had my Link looking like this while holding what was my favorite sword until I broke it on Ganon's big head lol.
I've never played Fortnite, but it's pretty cool of you guys to do a guide for a game that's being heavily rumored to be coming to the Switch. You should probably also do one for Paladins as it seems to have the same evidence that Fortnite has.
Am I the only one here hoping for a Rumble Roses XX remake? Yes? No? Maybe? ... Probably lol. Who am I kidding, I've never played any Rumble Roses game.
I have played Metal Gear, Goemon, and Castlevania games, though, and I wouldn't mind seeing those series make appearances on the Switch.
@Desa It's the whole "not everybody has access to good Wi-Fi" thing. For instance, you may live in an area where good Wi-Fi is readily available at lots of places, but I don't. In fact, the only two places that I know for sure that have Wi-Fi are my house and Walmart about 20 miles away from me and we already have over 10 devices that connect to my router through Wi-Fi which can bog it down at times, so playing a game that's online only would not be a good experience for me. Plus, my internet is satellite internet.
Now if it supported offline, local multiplayer, that'd be cool!
I'd much rather have physical media. That way, whenever I get tired of playing them, I can just put them away on a shelf or in a box, then in a few weeks or months, I can pull them back out when I'm ready to play them again without having to pay for them again.
@invictus4000 2001: A Space Odyssey came out about 11 years before my time. I don't remember seeing it, but I know I've heard the name a lot. I'll keep an eye out for it and Interstellar.
@ThanosReXXX I forgot about Project Hammer. I didn't know about a VHS tape either.
I did have a disc that was the size of a GCN game disc, but was only playable in a PC and had videos for GCN games like SSX Tricky, Rogue Squadron II, and more. I might still have it.
@ThanosReXXX if true then it's sad to hear that. I keep hoping that Retro would finally get to work on that Ravenblade game that they were working on for GameCube.
@invictus4000 I don't think I've ever seen all of 2001 Space Oddysey and I don't think I've heard of Interstellar, but as a huge anime fan, I wouldn't mind a Cowboy Bebop or Outlaw Star-style of Star Fox game.
@ThanosReXXX I think there was an NL article yesterday - or the day before - that said that part of where they got the info also said that Retro are working on another game, but that they are struggling with it and that they may end up canceling it.
I could see it being like this: The racing aspect could be inspired by the Star Wars' stories of the Kessel Run (not sure if I spelled that right) while the hub world could let the characters get out of their ships and walk around and interact with each other.
With Crazy Justice already confirmed and the possibility of Splatoon 2 getting a Battle royal mode and Black Ops 4 Battle Royal (maybe) coming to Switch, I think Fortnight might just be dead in the water if/when it hits the Switch.
If this is true and Sony is the only one not getting this, then maybe cross play is a big focus of this game which means this game may be an MMO. Maybe it is Monster Hunter World and, if so, then maybe Sony was left out of this simply because they don't support cross play.
@Winklebottom is your profile picture from the live action Ghost in the Shell movie? I haven't seen it yet, but I do have Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence: Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
Interesting. Ocarina of Time is still my favorite Zelda game, but I haven't played it in so long that I forgot about the Sage that you meet in the Temple of Time. I can't even remember his name.
I do have another question, though. If those 7 monks represent the 7 Sages, then what about the 7 heroins statues in BotW?
I only ask because OoT and BotW are the only 2 Zelda games that I've played through to the end.
I don't know about Banjo and Kazooie. I've never played the games, but I would love to see the rest of their classic IPs - GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Jet Force Gemini, etc - return to Nintendo consoles.
@Audiobrainiac well he did mention dogfighting so it may just be something like Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader on GameCube. I use that as an example because that's the most recent space combat game that I've played.
I love my Wii U, but it has had at least one problem. It has started to not recognize the games that I put in it.
It started with Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition. The game worked fine for a few months, but then it started crashing when I would get near some enemies. It eventually got to where it wouldn't even load the game. The disc didn't have any smudges or scratches on it. I also had Assassin's Creed III at around the same time and the same exact thing happened to it.
I thought the problem was behind me after I got rid of those games, but apparently it's started again, this time affecting Call of Duty: Ghost and - most frustratingly - Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (the game that I bought my Wii U for).
"Wii U was the stop gap that had to exist between the motion control innovation (and mainstream uber-success) of Wii and the semi-rebirth that is Switch."
Reading that phrase reminded me that Gearbox Software once said something similar about the Wii U during it's early days.
From my current Wii U collection I can tell you what games I'm NOT playing this weekend: BotW & CoD: Ghosts.
When I try to play either one of them, I get the error code 150-2031. If anyone can help me with that without having to send the Wii U in for repairs - which I can't afford - it would be much appreciated.
That said, my niece and nephews have been playing Assassin's Creed IV & Mass Effect 3 while I have been getting reacquainted with Mario Kart 8 all on the Wii U.
@Kohaku I didn't get a screen shot, but this morning I saw a tweet from someone asking the same thing and game's developer replied with a .gif saying "stay tuned".

@ThanosReXXX Thats the one! I must have stopped working. If so, I probably threw it away.

@ThatNyteDaez I don't remember seeing it either. The video for it kinda makes me thing of Sega Extreme Sports.

@Kai_ It should be f2p up until September when Nintendo rolls out their paid online service.

@gordjscott why not just use a capture device to record a video of the game as you play it then convert the video to an audio file?

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I wonder if Bayonetta 2 will climb back up around the time when Bayonetta 3 gets released.

CoD 3
CoD: Modern Warfare Reflex Edition
CoD: World at War
CoD: Modern Warfare III
CoD: Black Ops. I
I know MW3 was awesome on the Wii.
