Guys, I'm disappointed with Byleth too (though I'm not an anti-swordie), but there's no reason to bring all that salt into THIS news. Six new fighters is great.
Normal Direct is likely for February tbh. That's when it was last year. People just expect big stuff for January because of the 2017 Switch Presentation and the one 2018 Jan. Direct, but historically there haven't been many normal Jan. Directs.
Real quick, I'd like to mention that, including the three new legendaries, the two new Regis, and the three Bird Trio-lookin mons, we have about 70% of the National dex in now with the June and Fall updates. Without these expansions, it was abt. 44% (again, counting the new mons)
Knowing they're going to have the large majority of the mons back in when this DLC is over with, it'd be pretty dumb if there wasn't one more update that added the remaining 300 or so after that.
That being said, super excited that we're gonna have about 600 of the ~900. 2/3 is better than the ~1/3 we had before.
Even with Global Link being gone, I don't expect GTS or Wonder Trade to go kaput. They're still working on the older 3DS titles as well, and unlike the DS titles, they don't require a NWFC, just Wi-Fi in general.
I definitely agree climate change is an issue, but @Kalmaro had a point in saying there's not much we can do to stop it at this point, and at this point it's definitely water vapor that's more prevalent like he said. The carbon emissions are just adding fuel to the fire.
The claims get more egregious, and I just grow more and more tired of the debate at all. Will people ever move on and find a new game to witch hunt already?
@abbyhitter As far as I know, it was pretty much just the same as the other character reviews Sakurai did. As to why it was 45 minutes instead of 25 is beyond me, but it had nothing special in it, really.
I've never understood people being angry about what animals are in the game being leaked. Then again, it's partially because I forget half of them before I play it finally. My final note, I haven't seen a flame war regarding Sw/Sh for months, and was disappointed to see one in this thread. Come on, guys.
@Berzerker It might, but the show isn't based on the games, but the books. Basically, there are three Witcher canons now - The show, the books, and the games.
Pokémon Sword and Shield are going to be The Last Jedi of the Pokémon fandom. A giagantic group that truly likes it, but a significant chunk that will be screaming bloody murder and trying to criminally charge those responsible.
It'll be all good when they add the DKC games, Kirby Super Star, Star Fox 2, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and Super Mario RPG. After all the noteworthy games are in it'll be a drip feed like the NES Online (though we still don't have Earthbound Beginnings on NES Online for god knows what reason)
A bit disappointed about it being another code in a box, but at the same time it makes a bit more sense for this game compared to others. I'll definitely be swapping out my copy of Overwatch PS4 for the Switch version, because now I can actually get the Noire skin. But since it's a code in a box for physical I plan to just buy straight digital, which is rare for me on games like this.
People are gonna act like this is a national dex level decision, except the fact you need NS Online for online functionality at all with Switch. I didn't personally expect Pokémon to be an exception. That being said, Pokémon Home better be free if we have to keep paying for NS Online, or at least free for NS Online subscribers.
Why is America getting jipped out of so many deluxe editions? Ever since Xenoblade Chronicles 2 we haven had any good deluxe versions since. We got jipped on Metroid: Samus Returns too.
@AnnoyingFrenzy (American myself here) We're the only country that uses the Month - Day - Year format. Don't correct people who use Day - Month - Year because they're honestly correct.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Version 2 Will Add Another Six Fighters
@xpownz They've historically never added new skins without removing skins that were in older Smash games.
Unless you count echo fighters for some reason.

Re: Fire Emblem's Byleth Confirmed As Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's 5th DLC Fighter
Why was the Altaïr costume's reveal marked as "Super Smash Bros. x Altaïr" instead of "Super Smash Bros. x Assassin's Creed"?
Re: Reminder: Make Sure To Claim Your Gigantamax Meowth In Pokémon Sword And Shield Today
@ShadJV From most evidence I've seen, G-max Meowth is event only. I've been playing the game since launch and have yet to see it in raids.

Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Is Getting An Expansion Pass, And It Looks Mighty
Everyone is in a rage because the 200+ old Pokemon being added are supposedly behind a paywall.
I guess the part where they said they could be transferred for free through Home/Bank and trading no longer exists?
Re: Galarian Slowpoke Is Waiting For You In Today's Pokémon Sword And Shield Update
I like how every Galarian form has some drastic difference to it that makes it unique.
Then we have Galarian Slowpoke and he's just YELLOW.
But it's great. He's awesome. It fits Slowpoke tbh.

time to wait to update until the homebrew also gets updated. I'm fairly keen on still being able to record gameplay
