Re: Class Action Lawsuit Officially Filed Against Nintendo For Switch Joy-Con "Drifting" Issues

Tendogamerxxx

@AlternateButtons What a disgusting personality you have. You must have tons of friends. Bottom line is that the hardware is faulty and I’m glad someone is calling them out on it.

I’ve bought 4 switches since launch. 2 for my business and 2 for home, 3 of those the switches came with faulty drifting cons. The cons in the store see lots of abuse by kids- yet only 1 of those pairs drifts. The second set of Switch consoles dont get handled play (docked only) in an adult house hold yet both of joy cons drift even though most of the time a pro controller is used. Yes, the issue is real and no it doesn’t affect everyone. I’m guessing it has to do when or where these were manufactured. Something, somewhere went wrong and I’m tired of having to pay for new cons when I had nothing to do with this.

Re: Game Freak Isn't Reusing 3DS Models In Pokémon Sword and Shield

Tendogamerxxx

@TeslaChippie @wildvine53 I don’t think you guys get it. It’s not the fact that animations being reused is an issue. We’re use to them reusing models- it’s been this way since the begging of the franchise. It’s the fact that it they’re excusing their lack of Pokemon/features/etc. because they had to create “higher quality animations” when they clearly didn’t. The animations and models are the same.

Re: Game Freak Isn't Reusing 3DS Models In Pokémon Sword and Shield

@Kinpatsu The problem with this strategy is that if they don’t sell enough, they will simply translate that as “it didn’t perform, let’s not make another one for a while”. They’re basically going to punish fans either way. Damned if u buy, damned if you don’t.

I agree with the majority of people, they didn’t do better with animations. It’s almost like they got used to the fan base buying their incomplete first iteration of the game, because they know we’re gonna buy their complete version a year or two later (ex yellow, crystal, emerald, black 2, etc.).

In a way we only have ourselves to blame. We’ve been buying all their “limitation” excuses since the beginning. Now they feel like they can keep using those excuses. We’re the ones that contributed to their laziness and possibly stunted their growth in design.

Re: Team Sonic Racing Drops Opening Cutscene On Switch Due To "Cartridge Size Restrictions"

This is why digital is better. In this day and age we shouldn’t have to be worried about media limitations. When the software starts to suffer because of media limitations, it’s time to move on from it and look to the future- which is digital! I’m going to blame this on the physical community. Y’all need to adapt, I’m not ok with being shorted because of your OCD ways of wanting boxes and cartridges for a mostly portable system.

Re: Download Warning Ruins Box Art For Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster

@Anti-Matter it will be a thing of the past. If you don’t adapt then you probably won’t be playing games 5-10 years from now. Why physical? Nowadays you aren’t event getting the full game. Any extra content, add-ons, or bug fixes are via digital download. Ya’ll buying an older version of the game before it’s even released.

Re: Random: Some Mexican Fans Received Random DVDs Instead Of Smash Ultimate From Amazon

Tendogamerxxx

@Royalblues I will agree on what some people are saying that maybe in their country games are more expensive. I lived in Mexico for 6 months but I was never able to check out their e-shop. I always assumed it was the same as ours. For anyone else tho, if you feel like a you have to own the whole product including the box, you need to stop kidding yourself. You aren’t getting the entire game, nowadays DLC/Updates (paid or free) is just around the corner and that physical copy you have there is only some of the game- the rest is sitting in your digital library. Many times a broken and unplayable game becomes playable again thanks to digital downloads and game updates.

In regards to BC. Why bother preserving games or adding BC when people will eat up all the lazy ports and re-re-re-re-re-leases every time. Milk the cow until they stop buyin’ it, nothing wrong there.

Re: Random: Some Mexican Fans Received Random DVDs Instead Of Smash Ultimate From Amazon

@Royalblues Seriously! Just go digital. Invest in a decently priced SD card and you’re good to go. You don’t ever need to swap out memory cards. Most of the people that want to “show off” their collection or “want to see it on a shelf” don’t even have real human friends to show it off to. Digital is the future. Usually the ones that want physical games are the old school gamers that don’t embrace evolving and changing times of the industry and format- that my friends, is how you become your grandparents....

Tendogamerxxx

The one thing that bother me to no end is the fact that there’s no pro controller support. Maybe for Japanese players the controllers are idea for gameplay but my hands aren’t tiny. I just had to buy some joycon grips to make this playable. My partner wants to play this game and I don’t really want to say no because I love Pokémon, but I am honestly not looking forward to playing this. It looks like a dumbed down version of what I used to love.

Re: Sega Teases "Huge Announcement" To Be Revealed Tomorrow

Omg!!!! Could be another sub-par Sonic title no has been asking for?!?! Oh the excitement!!! Or is it something completely new that no one cares about because their reputation for making anything, but good 2-D side scrollers is in shambles?!?!

Shut it down Sega. Go home and stay there.

Re: Soapbox: I'm Secretly Terrified Of An All-Digital Gaming Future

Tendogamerxxx

I’ve embraced digital since the launch of the 3DS. Ever since then I had nothing but digital and have never looked back. It’s wonderful having all my games at a touch of a button everywhere I go. Less space wasted and less clutter. I’m ready for an all digital age!!!!

I see a lot of people are against digital but I’m pretty sure it’s mostly the older crowd. Even tho im an 80’s kid, I’m glad I’ve been able to adjust and embrace digital games.

Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Will Race To Theaters in 2019

Tendogamerxxx

At this point all the recent games have been mostly terrible that Sonic’s image has been destroyed. It’s time Sonic is put out to rest. I don’t mean to be negative but hopefully this will be the movie that will retire him for good.

In Regina George voice (mean girls)
Stop trying to make Sonic happen! It’s never gonna happen!

Re: Review: VS. Super Mario Bros. (Switch eShop)

Tendogamerxxx

@the8thark I agree with you on the scores that are given on this website are not what they used to be. I used to love coming to a place where reviews felt honest and scores not inflated as they seem nowadays. I’ve been having to compare with other sites before making an educated decision. Usually a 9 from NL really means a 6 or 7. Score don’t mean anything anymore. I truly believe that pay for scores is at play here. They just should just be honest about it.

Re: Review: Sonic Forces (Switch)

Tendogamerxxx

I’m just laughing at all the people who still have hopes and dreams of a good Sonic game after 8 hideous games. At this point it seems that colors and generations ended up being unintentionally good lol. Retire sonic already. Remove him from Smash Bros. He doesn’t even deserve to be there. Way more worthy characters with better games.
