Re: Rumour: A Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Will Reportedly Drop Next Week

SwitchForce

They should release Switch 2 in 2024 and have the games follow up this should be the strategy waiting will not get them AAA devs to come aboard. They will think Switch 2 is a failed hardware the longer they wait. They bring Switch 2 out 2024 and AAA games follow up and build on the library not build the library of AAA games and have nothing to play them. That isn't a smart business move you want the hardware there to get people and Devs to support the Switch 2. You can't play Switch 2 games on Switch that doesn't work. But bringing Switch 2 in 2024 they insure that there will be games lineup to take advantage of the Switch 2 console.

Re: Smash Bros. Ultimate's Final amiibo Seemingly Spotted In The Wild

SwitchForce

@Spider-Kev Holy moses are you kidding, I have to check when I did my preorder but I did it as soon as I found out. Just ask them to be sure they have enough so you can snag on as well. Thing is if they did all the Amiibos for all the character this would be a money maker for them - I think assuming they got the right programming for what each Amiibo scan does.

Re: More Switch 2 Rumours Surface In New "Exclusive" From Reuters

SwitchForce

@epicgamner There are gamers whom have both Deck and Switch or PS5/Xbox and it's up to the player to figure what they want how to play. And gaming isn't a cheap lifestyle when you game on different platforms that the nature of it. Some choose one or the other and others have multiple platforms - it a choice one makes.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Talks 8-Inch 'Switch 2' Screen, Joy-Con Compatibility

SwitchForce

Heard on YT rumors no Joy-Cons but that would mean they use Steam Deck format but that would ruin all Joy-Con controllers and making money from Joy-Cons designs and likes. I do hope it's 8" LCD 2024 not 2015 tech as alot of people like to think it will have is just dumb to think that. T239 with DLSS/RT with 1080p screen would be the rave and help boost sales. And NO a Switch 2 won't stop current gen sales only production ending for Current Gen would signal it's end of run production and people should start planning for Switch 2 next phase of production and market leader shares. It will never beat the Switch sales volume that was a one-off since it was a revolutionary design that most likely can't replicate anymore. Just having Switch 2 detachable Joy-Cons with 8" LCD Hi-Res display and Dock 4k/DLSS/RT game play would signal a new phase in Nintendo Gaming. I will probably be able to get only one unit and maybe another through Amazon if they permit such purchase because my nephew will be able to get one as well to game on. Though he might not send back my Pokémon version as seems like they are still using it but can transfer account to both so they can play the other one while someone else plays the Switch OLED. That would lead me having a Splatoon, TOTK, Pokémon OLED and then two new Switch 2 for the gaming 2024 year. That's my plan so far.

Re: Switch Sales Pass 139 Million, Will Be "Main Business" Heading Into 2024, Says Nintendo President

SwitchForce

Considering Switch OLED is the only console why would'nt it get those numbers but repeating those sales figure with Switch 2 will be next to impossible since the Switch was such a innovator design and concept. Now everyone is copying this setup but will never reach Switch numbers nor can Switch 2 reach those numbers. There plenty of Switch OLED, v1, v2 and Lite that trying to beat those numbers would require everyone going and buying Switch 2 to change that ratio around. Which by any stretch of the imagination isn't going to happen. Those figure were Once in Lifetime and probably can't be repeated again.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Talks 8-Inch 'Switch 2' Screen, Joy-Con Compatibility

SwitchForce

To me regardless if you like or dislike the Joy-Cons are a unique for Switch to stand out from other consoles. Some use them on and off. When I game portable I keep Joy-Cons attached and keep attached when docked play. Don't understand the hatin towards the Joy-Con other then the drift and or too small but for the size considering console size it would match the Switch size. The Problem with GF talking rumors as facts beyond some leaks chipset spec is just that rumors since no one can give factual specs or photos of the Switch 2 to show anything what it is or does. People are hostile that is a stretch but they going on Rumors beyond knowing it's probably a T239 chipset they are blowing hot air since they have No Uncle Nintendo to confirm anything. When you use rumors as facts that's when you get into trouble.

Re: Talking Point: Switch Is Nintendo's "Main Business" Right Now, But All Eyes Are On The Horizon

SwitchForce

Nintendo bungled the handover from Wii to Wii U to such an extent that kicking off with Switch felt like an entirely new game, with no thriving predecessor or revenue flow to worry about cutting off. The company is understandably cautious this time around, with a lot more to lose if 'Switch 2' turns out to be a 'Switch U.'
If this is what people aka analysts are talking about they already lost out here. Considering they are making a more capable Switch 2 to get AAA games makes you wonder people talking Doom/Gloom for Switch 2 where the same that said that in 2017 and 7 years later the Switch broke records and now they are parroting those lines again? You have to ask did you look at how they dismissed Switch 2017 before making the same comments?

Re: It's Official, Nintendo Switch Is The Best-Selling Hardware In Japan

SwitchForce

Considering Sony gave up on Japan markets and focused on the NA market what else would take the place? Nintendo everyone. When people talk about Switch volumes they forget this is a ongoing sales and not end of lifetime sales numbers. Those are Apples to Orange comparisons and doesn't tell the stories behind those sales figures. One's still in production and one has all but ended production years ago. It's a real Shame people forget this and dig themselves into a hole. One needs to compare on-going production figures if one wants to make Real comparisons.
