Headup Games has announced that the first batch of free DLC for Slime-san, Blackbird's Kraken, will be released on Nintendo Switch on 22nd February.
This DLC pack features new items, collectibles, mechanics, and levels, adding to the mayhem already available in the main game. If you're unfamiliar with Slime-san's intense platforming action and want to know more, make sure to check out our review of the main game. Until then, though, feel free to check out the DLC's full (and ridiculously long) feature list below.

As mentioned above, the Blackbird's Kraken DLC is a free update for the main game so, if you already own a copy, you'll be able to play through all of this extra goodness very soon indeed.

I got tired and deleted this game after the 1st world
So many games coming out that I forgot I got this one. This may pull me back.
Played the demo .. boring
The new update sure sounds awesome.
What an absolute masterpiece of a game. It is by far the best value for money game on the Switch in my opinion, so many modes, unlockables, replay value, mini games etc.
People think that Celeste had great platforming elements but SlimeSan had so so many more great jaw dropping moments, and kept introducing new mechanics even when entering the final 5 or so levels. Not only that but these mechanics were unthinkable and I certainly hadn't seen anything like it in years gone by.
10/10 for me.
I started playing this while everyone was excited to be playing Celeste. Still have world 5 to beat so hopefully by the time this is released I will have gone through the game

I appreciate the creativity of the game... I played the demo and it's very interesting, but didn't quite do enough to make me want to continue playing.
If it goes on sale, I may buy it just to support the developer for providing such a generous demo...

One of the finest games on the eshop, love everything about it. Awesome music, quirky yet appealing graphics, tight gameplay with great level design and oodles of content.
Awesome game, super under rated, the level design is top tier and the controls some of the tightest I have ever played. The way they continue to build upon the basic mechanics to bring something new blows the mind.
And that much FREE DLC? Wowsers thats value!
Nearing the end of Celeste so I will get it soon. Loved the demo and rarely a demo sells me on a game. This is one of those.
This game is great. Gives super meat boy a run for its money.
