In Nintendo's late August 'Nindies Showcase' it demonstrated some fascinating and intriguing games; then it rather jokingly introduced Mom Hid My Game!, which is coming to the Switch and 3DS eShop. Previously released on mobile, it's a light-hearted title in which you work through various rooms and solve puzzles to find what looks like a mix between a DS and a Game Boy Advance SP.
Its original introduction is below.
Well, it's not far away, popping up on the Switch eShop coming soon list - it's out in North America and Europe on 21st December priced at $4.99USD / €4.99 / £4.49.

Well, this is probably still too expensive considering you can get it on mobile for free and finish it in, like, 30 minutes. It should at least get some additional content for the switch version.
@Ricube thanks for the tip, free is my favourite price!
Are they going to localise this for proper-English speaking countries?
I'm so surprised it's so cheap on the switch.
Usually free mobile games cost so much on eshop
Sounds like the sort of goofy that inspired the Gamer mini-game in Game & Wario. I love these weird, silly novelty games (a port of Muscle March with improved controls and HD rumble would be amazing), so I'm definitely keen on this.
Looks bizarre but if I was going to play a game like this it would be on my phone. Another game that's on the 'coming soon' section of the Eshop, '60 Seconds' looks more interesting.
I‘ll prob end up spending enough cash on the eShop these holidays as it is, no need for this.
What the heck is that game ??
I don't care if mom hid my money, I'm not buying this game!
@OorWullie 60 Seconds on Switch, you say? I quite like that game. Can‘t wait to play on the go!
Eh, looks like a game that should cost $1 or be free...kind of a game that you wouldn't show off the E-Shop with, as there is definitely better titles out for it.
Off topic though, I'm still wondering about Golf Story. I haven't bought it, as I didn't like the original Golf games on the NES, Genesis and Super NES, but I'm curious as to if it is actually worth the price they are asking, and if it's actually a decent game or not?
Honestly, this game looks like... What's the word? Oh yeah, garbage. I know I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but I agree with most people that this looks like the kind of game that might be ¢99 on a phone, or even free. There's no way this should be $4.99.
@JLPick Golf Story is a fantastic game, and is a steal at the $14.99 price tag.
@JLPick It's worth way more, and it's also an RPG, has very little in common with those retro Golf games you mentioned
I played this and some other games from the same developer on mobile and quite liked them, but they are very cheaply made and also look like they were translated with Google Translate.
Unless they polished the game a lot or added a huge amount of content, it is not worth 5 € in my opinion.
@GoldenGamer88 Yep, it appeared on the UK Eshop yesterday. I think it releases next week.
Ha! I actually find this super appealing. I’m all about that quirk. 👯♂️
gameplay videos on youtube are rather fun, expecially if the youtubers are more than one and make fun comments. It looks like a very fun game if you get it for free on mobile, but there's no way it is worth any money. But it is absolutely not the worst game ever made either. It is quite fun actually. Just get it on your phone or watch it on youtube, it is the best thing to do.
@OorWullie Next week, too!? My shopping list just grows longer, and I love it!
@JLPick Golf Story is a great, great game.
What a waste of time, once again here comes the shovelware, nobody wants, well except one guy, obviously
I've played this game on the Apple Store and it was good. It's free, hilarious and fun. But is it worth it on the Switch for that amount even though it's free on the phone? No. Nintendo should really put a tag of "MOBILEGAME" Category instead of throwing Nindies everywhere confusing people that isn't even into mobile gaming thinking this is a quality Nindie game. It's unfortunate, but people will definitely get this without even knowing it came from the Mobile store.
@Gaisaph This is some of the issues with Sony and Microsoft too...granted that they have a bunch of games in the 'free' category with buy the DLC if you want to...but they also have the mobile games showing up which are either more expensive or a price on a free one on the mobile stores. Hopefully, the Switch starts getting some of the free games from the PS4 and XBONE...I could go with playing Gems Of War on the Switch daily!!! (it's an updated and online only version of Puzzle Quest)
