The original This Is The Police brought a unique balance of procedural police investigation and resource management when it was ported over to Nintendo Switch last year, and it was clearly a great fit because publisher THQ Nordic and developer Weappy Studio has confirmed the sequel - This Is The Police 2 - is slated for release on PC and consoles later this year.

Unlike the inner city setting of the first instalment, TITP2 operates out of the remote and snowy border town of Sharpwood, where smugglers, gangs and worse have made themselves at home. You'll strap on the the boots of new sheriff Lilly Reed, who has to contend with Sharpwood's criminal underworld, its unusual inhabitants and her own uncooperative colleagues.
