Gee, what did you guys think about the load times?! XD But for real, I just downloaded this last week once I realized that it had finally hit the eShop. I guess that was part of the Selects branding? Because it certainly was not on there for a very long time.
I spent 60 hours with this game that was fun, rewarding, and challenging without buying a single bit of the dlc. Don't let that laundry list turn you off because not a bit of it absolutely necessary to the experience.
Looks funny enough, but $10 seems kinda steep for this as a package. Unless there's a discount 10 pack, I'll be waiting for it to be in one of the Circle eShop sales.
Very nice. I've almost buckled a few times and bought that cheapo AT Games clone Genesis that we have here in the states, but this thing would be an instant buy if we had it here. It's just so pretty.
I'll be waiting for a used copy or black friday deal on Color Splash, thanks. Would like to see some screens on that Pixel Hunter game, though. Bought a day one N3DS and so far only have LttP, Super Metroid and Binding of Isaac to show for it.
I love the esthetic here and the gameplay looks to be varied and interesting. If this is playable with just me in the field and a young one on the gamepad, then I'm in. My niece loves games where she can run support without really getting in harm's way and this could fit that bill nicely.
Man, I'm a sucker for cute Zelda-likes. And I'm even more on board when you throw in more traditional rpg elements, so I'll probably be getting this unless the final reviews are just completely in the toilet.
Can't say enough good things about Soul Of Darkness. Just go buy it.
Also, Amida's Path was a late DSi game from just about 2 years ago that I feel probably went largely unnoticed because of its late arrival, and that's a shame because it was very cool
edit: How could I have forgotten Flipper?! Such a delightful little puzzle game that was.
Went to gamestop Tuesday morning and got SMT Apocalypse. I figured if I'm going to pay the Atlus tax that I might as well snag the pin set. Downloaded Severed today and can't wait to try it out.
I play Runbow with a sideways Wii remote because I find the small d-pad to be very beneficial for the game, so my excitement at getting to use its baby brother pad on the 3DS is major. BRING IT.
Probably a bad sign that the game seems incapable of keeping track of what place you're in. A game like this would have to handle magnificently in order to work well and I have my doubts about that being the case here. I'd love to be wrong about that, though.
Please just drop the numerical scores already. Not long ago, Legend Of Dark Witch 2, an absolute corker of a handheld game with great production values and tons of content got a 5 because the reviewer thought it was just a rehash of the first game. And now this abomination which can only be considered a video game by the slimmest margins, and is on a damned HOME CONSOLE, gets a 4. It's just disrespectful to developers who put passion and effort into what they do.
I can't lie and say that the game doesn't look pretty slick. If this were on Wii U as a $50 release, I'd buy it. But playing a game like this on 3DS just doesn't appeal to me, despite the nub on my New model practically dying to get some use.
They can't abandon their handheld domination, and they can't keep supporting two consoles. So this is pretty much their only option. Other than complete ruin, that is.
Will buy the crap out of this on Wii U despite having it on PSN already. I really hope this comes to be, and Nordic seem to be some stand up dudes so I'd say that it will. Also, Darksiders III NX hype.
Those outside of the U.S. may not know this, but our politics consist of 95% grandstanding. This won't go any farther than being a bullet point on the guy's reelection campaign.
They could have pulled out all of the stops and delivered the game that most everyone wants as an amazing exclusive swansong for the Wii U. They could have done that.
There is one post in the miiverse community and it's warning you not to buy the game. I wish we had access to hard sales numbers because I'd genuinely like to know how many people had 10 bucks that they just really needed to get rid of.
That's no joke about them being confined to toy sections because I never even saw one of these until at least a year after it's release. I'm wishing that I had snagged one back then just to have as an oddity, but it's a shame that we didn't get the breeder game because there could have been a lot of potential there.
Oh, gamepad. I adore the thing, personally. Maybe not the best for intensive action games, but I'm so glad that Tokyo Mirage Sessions has given me a new reason to spend hours with it in my hands in a way that I hadn't done since XCX came out.
I'll give them the chance to sell me on this. As in, gimme a demo to try or there is no way I'm paying for this. I bought a New 3DS and that nub hardly ever gets used so that would be nice.
@CharlieSmile One would think that the action in this game will be primarily on the bottom screen, so I don't know if you'd even get a lot of use out of the 3D. The look of the game would certainly lend itself to it, though.
Loved Gunslugs 2 and I'll buy Gunslugs because the dev was cool enough to listen to the community and port the game, but I won't get to play it for a while because my 3DS is purely a Planet Robobot console at the moment.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Most Anticipated Wii U and 3DS Games For the Rest of 2016?
Gurumin, Hive Jump, Kerbal, Sun/Moon and Stardew. Hollow Knight looks great, but I need to see more. Same deal with Punch Club.

Re: Review: Shadow Archer (Wii U eShop)
I see trees in one screenshot but not in the others so I'm curious, are you free roaming around a set map? I'm pretty unclear on how that works.

Re: The Fall Part 2: Unbound Confirmed for Wii U Release in Q1 2017
ALL OF THE YES. I've played a heap of really good indies on the Wii U, and The Fall was right up at the top of them. Good times.

Wait, they left the cash wringing play timer 'energy' bar in the not-at-all-free-to-play version? Is that for real?
