Re: Review: Cutie Pets Jump Rope (Wii U eShop)

I play a lot of serious games and these Cutie Pets titles are a perfect counterbalance to those. It is kinda strange that the first one was single player and this one is obviously aimed at a party vibe, though. I believe it's also worth mentioning that owning one of the games will net you a discount on the other, making what is already a reasonably priced distraction even more attractive as an impulse buy.

I can see myself getting so angry at one of those boss fights that I'd never play the game again. And this seems like a headphone game so having grating, almost intolerable enemy noises was probably a bad choice. I'll check a few more reviews before writing it off completely but I certainly don't feel good about what I just read.

There are some bangers in there if you don't already have the likes of Captain Toad, W101 or Kid Icarus: Uprising. The only things on the list that I want and do not already own are Rune Factory 4 and Adventures Of Pip. Their prices are tempting (physical copies of RF4 on eBay still go for almost $40), but I know that I'm about to be eat up with XCX so they're just gonna sit there for quite a while.

Captain Toad was a reasonably priced game that ended up feeling like a huge bargain because of the content on offer. And this seems to be the exact opposite of that. I really wanted to play this but I want even more to not feel like a sucker by buying it.

If you have a lot of folders, this is a godsend bease these babies cerainy snazz them right up. I have gotten several badges for free each day, but I did spend a dollar earlier to complete a Splatoon set. The only other time I can see myself putting actual money in would be when some sweet Kirby badges come up.

They really need to get that demo out in PAL territories because that's what convinced me to get the game. My 6-year-old niece has been burning it up also, and the commercials are on Cartoon Network almost constantly. I'd say it'll do well, but until I see Jibanyan floating in the Thanksgiving day parade I'd say that Pokemon is still at the top of their class.

Remember the VC games we got last year on Wii U leading up to Halloween? GBA Castlevanias, Gargoyle's Quest 2 and Demon's Crest. This year we got a game from what is possibly the least scary series in history. I want to smash some pumpkins on NoA's lawn.
