Would have bought Sadame straight away at $9.99, but I'll wait for some reviews before deciding now. Should probably just save my eShop funds for Twilight Princess next week, anyway.
This would be a $40 dlc pack purchase for me, as I'd never play this game on the go. It should be possible to transfer the new characters and then just resell the game, right?
The system will need to sell boatloads in order for it to get any interesting and exclusive content, but it won't sell boatloads without the promise of said content up front. I just don't see how this could possibly work out well, honestly.
I never got into Fire Emblem, for whatever reason. I did download the Awakening demo this morning to hopefully see what the fuss is about, though. PXZ2 looks very interesting, but only a handful of those characters really mean anything to me so I might try to grab a sale copy later on down the line.
A recent playthrough of A Link To The Past put it back at the top of my list. Wind Waker was hugely important to me both times that it was released, and Majora's Mask is one of the headiest games that I've ever played. So that's my three.
The importance of Splatoon really cannot be overstated, both in terms of moving some Wii U units and in improving Nintendo's public perception. The fact that it came from a young team should really inform the direction that they head in with the next console's development cycle.
@Shiryu That was a crazy good read, friend. Had never even heard of it before, but I will find this game and play it before the year is out thanks to this review.
I've never played FF Tactics and I feel like that's something that I should have under my belt. I'm also interested in Level 22, Joe's Diner, and the mini-game collection. I'll have to see some gameplay videos or proper reviews before deciding on those, though.
I don't think I could have ever gotten as generally good at the game as I am if all of the maps, weapons, and modes had been dumped on me at launch. Still not a huge fan of the rotating maps, but I do understand why that is necessary.
'More of the same' here was definitely a good thing, as far as I'm concerned. I love this little game every bit as much as I did the first one but I feel like a lot of 3DS owners will sadly skip right past it.
I always thought the Keflings game looked interesting, so I'll definitely get the demo for that. Other than that, I'm just watching for what the next round of the winter sale will hold.
I understand that the 3DS is aging hardware that was never really cutting-edge in the first place, so I never complain about the occasional pop in or jagged edges but HWL just looks plain terrible running on the old model. I have a New 3DS and loved the original game so I'm buying, but absolutely no way would I be purchasing this for play on an original model. They will get more sales because of this not being a New 3DS exclusive, obviously, but at what cost? Putting that product out there at full price for original 3DS owners is a joke.
The employees of Retro Studios are some heroically tight-lipped folks, for sure. Their building has to be fit to explode with pent up excitement by now.
EOV, SMT IV: Final, and #FE could fill out a big chunk of my year if the Western releases are forthcoming. I'm guessing localisations of these are a good ways away, but I can continue to dream.
I grabbed the Wii U version recently when it was on sale and the game is definitely well made and tons of fun to play. My young niece and I gave been burning it up lately to the point of neglecting our usual Runbow antics. It is a real shame that it couldn't find the audience that it deserves on consoles.

Re: Niantic Cancels Pokémon GO Presentation At Game Developers Conference
They were all packed and ready to go, but there was a Snorlax in their way.
Re: Feature: What We Expect from Nintendo Direct - 3rd March
@ikki5 Sorry, that read weird. I meant an ambassador program for the New 3DS to make up for the lack of exclusives during it's first year.
Re: Feature: What We Expect from Nintendo Direct - 3rd March
Ambassador program for New 3DS, plz.
Re: A Wii U and 3DS Nintendo Direct Is On the Way
Could not possibly shovel enough coal to fuel the hype train right now.
Re: Trademarks And Logos For The Next Pokémon Game Surface Online Ahead Of Tomorrow's Nintendo Direct
I never played X/Y, so I was really hoping for the long rumored Z. Could still happen, I suppose.

SOLD.
Re: The Temple of Yog Version 1.1 Update is Being Approved
@argh4430 I hear you, brother. Those snakes are so small and quick that I think they're one of the more deadly enemies in the first part of the game.
Re: First Impressions: Finding Ojipockles Is More Addictive Than You Might Assume
That was maybe the best game trailer that I've ever seen.
Re: The Temple of Yog Version 1.1 Update is Being Approved
And to anyone who is wondering, yes. You will feel like a huge loser the first time that you are killed by a stupid wasp.
Re: The Temple of Yog Version 1.1 Update is Being Approved
The update actually released yesterday.

Dude got in Runbow, at least.

Re: Site News: Welcome To The Brand New Nintendo Life!
7/10
Re: Review: Shütshimi (Wii U eShop)
This is probably the best thing I've bought on my Wii U since Runbow came out.
Re: Nintendo Download: 4th February (North America)
@Freeon-Leon @dumedum I'm in with you guys. Anybody who doesn't have a hard copy of this masterpiece needs to download the eShop version a.s.a.p.
Re: Nintendo Download: 4th February (North America)
I got Bayonetta and her stage last night, so I voted Shütshimi. Been waiting on that one for quite a while.
Re: Jools Watsham Wants to Know if You Want a Dementium III
The spectre of Treasurenauts has become some kind of bizarre joke at this point.
Re: Review: Dark Half (SNES)

Re: Nintendo's Second Mobile App to Feature an IP "Very Well Known to Everyone"
"Please don't be Mario Match-3..."
They already did that and released it on the 3DS last year.
Re: IHS Technology Adds to Speculation of an NX Portable Release in 2016
They've got to start tweeting some shadowy images of hardware prototypes. SOMETHING.
Re: Rumour: Super Smash Bros. Planned as NX Launch Title, Bandai Namco Working on "Several" Games
Just give us the deets, Ninty. This is getting out of hand.

Doesn't OctoDad seem a little out of place in this bunch?

Re: Another 17 Games Get North American eShop Discounts in the Winter Warm-Up Sale
That's a steal on OlliOlli if the cross-buy is still going. I never did get Freedom Planet and I am very tempted to at that price.
Re: Review: The Legend of Dark Witch - Episode 2: The Price of Desire (3DS eShop)
@Drac_Mazoku You just dissected all of the problems with this review way better than I could have. I wholeheartedly agree with you, here.

10/10. Would buy.

Re: Review: Bigley's Revenge (Wii U eShop)
I thought that 'I.Q. Test' was the auspicious debut of Ninja Pig.
Re: Rynn's Adventure: Trouble in the Enchanted Forest is Heading to Wii U Soon
Why is it so slooooooow? It looks like it'd be awesome if sped up by about 30%.

I'll have Zero Mission, thanks. Praise Reggie.
Re: Video: Everything We About Nintendo NX, So Far
It's a good thing that Alex is so delightful because that video could not have stood on the information alone.

This, I am about.

Re: Review: Terraria (3DS)
Alright, then. All I needed to hear was that this ran well on New 3DS. I've never played this before but I'll be getting it as soon as return home.
Re: Ninterview: Retro Video Gaming's Heidi stopXwhispering On Building The Ultimate Game Room
I've read in several different places on the internet that girls do not actually play video games so this seems pretty suspect, tbh.
Re: Zelda: Link Between Worlds Figma Link Is Here, And The Desire Is Real
Break the pot and get the poor Maimai out of there. His squeaking is driving me nuts.
