Grabbed a few final things on the 3DS last night and almost hit 'download later' on the last one before realizing that I'd miss my last chance to watch the goofy download animation of the little baubles dropping down to fill the game icon border up. Goodbye, old friend. 😢

Almost impossible to pick between Kirby, Castlevania, Xenoblade or SMT so I'll just swing for the fences and say Dark Souls.

No matter the announcements, I just hope that everyone has a great time.

I pretty regularly play indie games that don't look so hot and I'm totally okay with it, but this thing should have had nearly infinite resources available to make it look as good as any other first-party game on Switch and it just doesn't. It's not a deal-breaker and the positive reviews mean that I probably will get this, but it is disappointing.

It's a very, very good trailer. Went from just being generally excited as a Kirby fan to thinking that the game may be legit amazing.

The Dark Souls 2 miiverse community would have been absolutely popping off.

Wait, wait... preeminent R&B artist Raphael Saadiq is involved with Illfonic? That's wild. Dude was in Tony! Toni! Toné! and has played bass on or produced tons of songs you've probably heard before. Been a big fan of his for ages and had literally no idea.

Probably had more fun watching the DF video than I could get out of the collection in it's current state.

Is there an issue with the physical copies? I got an email about my amazon preorder not shipping on time so I had to cancel and download the game instead. Also, my local walmart does not have copies of SMTV on the shelf and that cannot be good for retail sales. Their Switch selection isn't lacking, there are recent 3rd party games like the Hot Wheels one there but they couldn't get this thing in stores?

The Letter was the scariest Wii U game, hands down.

The more I've thought about this, the more annoyed I've gotten. The venn diagram of people still actively playing Animal Crossing and those who dearly want the N64 games probably has a 10% overlap. Tethering the two together is completely ridiculous. Also, they haven't released a heavy hitter on either of the existing NSO apps in a very, very long time. If the last update had added Earthbound and Mr. Gimmick people would maybe be a little more excited to pony up for these in hopes that good games would continue to be added. Just a garbage situation.

Such a bad look. They've now priced this near to what PS Plus costs and that service will chuck a few free games at you every month. I've played more than enough Animal Crossing in my life and since I don't have the new game it would be totally ridiculous for me to upgrade this subscription at that price. Oh, well.

The 'classic clock mechanics' bit is very funny to me.

I found Unepic to be pretty consistently funny throughout so it was weird that the jokes in the trailer for this did not land with me at all. But it does look like a tight little adventure so I'm still gonna play it regardless.

That is a bummer. The game is not groundbreaking in any way but I have so much love for the series that even an average one will easily carry me to the end so I was looking forward to playing it again on Switch. Hopefully they'll smooth it out and I'll grab it on sale sometime next year.

He's given us a fantastic opportunity here because now if the movie craps out we can always talk about how good the Leguizamo cut would have been. Thank you, John.

The remaster both exists and does not exist. You see, deep inside Nintendo HQ there is a box. The box has the Prime logo on it. But no one is allowed to open the box, or even to peer inside.

We really do need that XCX port. Just imagine a whole new generation of gamers getting to marvel at Lao's sullenness and delight in making jokes about eating your Nopon companion for dinner. Most of the internet probably remains unaware that the game had a race of sexy cat-people in it and I think that they deserve to see them.

Loving the look of this but they totally just pulled those menus right out of #FE and reused them lol

Xenoblade Chronicles X has the best crabs hands down

They should absolutely call it the Super Nintendo Switch, so they most likely will not do that. It'll probably be something really terrible like the 'Switch Up'.

I work in a place where these are supposed to be sold but of course the entire section is just continually empty. Despite this, I will see folks standing in that aisle staring at the empty shelves several times a day. They just seem lost and it's very strange.

Imagine traveling back to late 2015 and showing this to someone who is hoping that more than 2 games release on the Wii U that week.

For $10 it would be quite nice to play a new game on my Wii U in 2021, so I'm in.

Quest 2 could easily bring characters from the other games for a big multiverse rpg. Certainly wouldn't complain about that.

This game rocks! Bought it on a whim just because of the price and ended up having a blast with it.

I have one of the older wired models and the shoulder button design on these things is not great for me. They're smashed right up against one another and it just feels funny.

Putting Ivan in would be a nice olive branch to Wii U owners.

For me, Super Star/Super Star Ultra is the answer. But you could make a strong case for any one of about a dozen of these being the best one!

Didn't the cloud version of RE7 have a rental period or something similar instead of buying the game at full price? Seems like that may be the way to go here because this is very unappealing

Already own this and the dlc elsewhere, but the game is good enough that I'd be tempted into getting it here just for the novelty of handheld play for the right price. That price is not $40 for a cloud based version, though.

I bought Hades yesterday morning but then they go and quick drop Kirby Fighters 2 so I'm absolutely playing that first lol

I've bought some real duds that I put less than 2 hours in to and will never touch again, so I wouldn't complain about a policy similar to the Valve one.

I had an insane amount of fun with the first Kirby Fighters because I got it for my niece as well and we played co-op constantly. But it has been a good while since we got Star Allies and it was about as standard of a Kirby platformer as you could get so I'm hoping they've been working on the next oddball entry in the main series as well.

I'd certainly get the Kirby's Adventure model

They finally remembered that the holidays are happening lol. But this is great, honestly. Played the first one to pieces on Wii U and then enjoyed a lot of that same stuff again on Switch so having a totally fresh one to blast through sounds like a good time to me.
