Wild take, completely disagree, there are so many great games that have been forgotten or lost to time due to outdated controls or obsolete hardware, I think its only fair to give those games a second chance and allow all the people that missed them the first time to experience them in the most convenient way possible
For example all the WiiU games that nobody played when they first came out because nobody had the hardware, that have thrived on the Switch because the games were great but were unfortunately not on a supported console. the same would apply to GCN games as everyone had an Xbox or a PS2 at the time.
I think it really is a case by case scenario but for the most part I'm good with just having the game accessible and preserved on modern hardware.
The extra stuff in some of the anniversary collections or remakes or what have you, is cool but I would give it a skim and then get back to the game. After all thats why we're buying it right, the game?
The ideal Remake/Remaster for me is just bringing an old game to modern standards. The older the game the more work it needs I think unless its 2D and then just a fresh lick of paint is good. But GCN games for example (which is what Nintendo seem to be focusing on right now) they need to be brought to HD and have their controls revised for modern controllers, anything else that they do is just bonus and frankly unnecessary. A visual overhaul is lovely but not always required.
The other thing is that so many of these older games are such a pain to play at all now, especially GCN games, theyre so frickin' expensive and hard to get hold of and then you have to have an old outdated console plugged into a tv that still has all the right ports, its just such a faff so having them brought to digital HD consoles where they can and hopefully will be brought forward to the next and the next after that is just brilliant.
It has to be Galaxy, no Mario game has ever felt so important! the planetoid mechanics so perfectly fit with the Mario formula. every single level, every single star, every single challenge is fun, even the tricky ones aren't just frustratingly difficult, they are just fun as heck. The Rosalina story is just brilliant and she is one of my favourite characters ever because of that story in the library. I have 100%ed the game countless times and will continue to play the game forever. I also love cosy space games, there have only been 2 that fit the role though, Mario Galaxy and Outer Wilds, 2 of my top 3 favourite games. Love it forever <3
TBH im less of the belief that we need 3DS games on switch because playing them on the OG hardware is still okay. Don't construe that as me not wanting those games on Switch cause that isn't nearly the case BUT I feel that DS games being remade or remastered on modern hardware is paramount as there are some brilliant games that are stuck on such a strange console, just for preservation alone we need them on Switch. Im talking Phantom Hourglass, Spirit tracks, partners in time, bowsers inside story, layton curious village, Black & White, Platinum, Nintendogs, Pokemon Ranger and so many more. Make it happen Nintendo, let me relive my childhood!
I want the mindset they had going into Wonder to remain, but I want them to start from scratch again.
Let the Devs come up with as wacky an idea that they can and then try and make it work, no idea is off the table, make an art style that gets us all excited over again, completely new animations again, Wonder is great but we have that now, lets keep that momentum going!
How sad would it be if in a decade we're all looking back on the Wonder era of Mario games complaining about how stagnant its gotten.
Don't risk it, preserve the uniqueness of Wonder by making something completely left-field, new, once again.
Ironically, if I could decide, I think what could be awesome is to make 2D Mario Pixel graphics again, but in the 2D-3D way that we see so much at the moment, 2D Sprites with super polished lighting effects and maybe it references the NES entries, just an idea I think would be cool
I mean X/Y, the games that the AD featured are 10 years old as of 2023, the boys in the AD looked in their 20s, 10 years ago for someone in their 20s is a long time ago, this is perfectly reasonable to position the way they did. I don't think they labelled anything as retro in the AD but just that nostalgia is very powerful. Heck, I was nostalgic for certain things whilst playing TOTK that I experienced in BOTW, but that sure as heck isn't retro.
Viva Pinata is one that Arlo mentioned in a video and since then I have been hoping every Nintendo Direct that it happens, it would work so darn well!!!
Also as others have mentioned, the Switch is sorely lacking in good Driving Sim games, so one of the older Forza Motorsport games maybe a collection of like Motorsport 5,6&7 or heck preferably a collection of the first 2 Forza Horizon Games would be incredible.
I understand there's the issue of the lack of analogue triggers but they could still have the games on there and maybe offer a playstyle where you can use Left stick as the accelerator, not a perfect solution but at least then players have options. I just feel like hopping in to do one or two races works perfectly for handheld gaming.
Ideally of course, Xbox and Nintendo would come up with a way to get Xcloud streaming and Game Pass to work on the switch, if I can play halo on my phone imagine how cool it would be to play it on my switch.
Everyone wants a new Legends game, so thats never gonna happen, Im thinking NSO releases for only DMG titles so no GBC or GBA. Im thinking pokemon snap dlc cause whats life without making wild claims with no rhyme or reason? and i'm thinking Let's go Marill and Let's Go Togepi for christmas
If this is true, 2024 is just going to be awful for gaming, with Sony saying no major releases anytime soon, and Xbox focussing solely on massive multiplats ie COD, Minecraft, etc. My only hope for this year was that we might have a new Nintendo console going into christmas but maybe not, that is sad 😔
Honestly I dunno what the usage would be, I don't think there would be anyone out there who would default to using the Switch as their media player so for that I see no point. Sure occasionally you might find yourself already on your switch and wanting to watch something so you don't change over.
But like, if I'm out and about then I usually have my iPad if not, my phone with me, which both have better screens and are more convenient to hold, stand, Bluetooth headphones too, etc. and then if I'm at home, the same tv I use for my switch has a PC and a PS5 connected to it which are both better options for watching stuff. I don't think its a bad idea for the switch, its just not a necessary one for most people I don't think. Obviously, I'm just one guy, with my situation, I don't know everybody and maybe its a great idea but not from where I am standing.
PAPER MARIO 1. Super Paper Mario 2. Paper Mario NES 3. Origami King 4. Colour Splash (I haven't played TTYD or Sticker Star, but I have no reason to believe that TTYD wont go to No1 when I play it)
MARIO+LUIGI 1. Partners in time 2. Superstar Saga 3. Bowser's Inside Story (Dream team and Paper Jam are unplayed)
Haven't played RPG yet, and didn't really like either of the Rabbids games
Silksong is definitely too big for an Indie World, not because it doesn't count as an indie game anymore but simply because I think that Nintendo like to keep the Indie World for smaller games that would do well with a showcase, Silksong would just distract from the rest of the games shown. Imagine being a small developer and your game gets shown next to Silksong, nobody would remember your game.
I am so darn excited for this! I love the stories in the Mario RPGs, the world is just so fun to be in, with Mario+Luigi being dead and Paper Mario going a little funky recently, getting RPG and TTYD is just so exciting especially as they're both ones I haven't played yet!!
I mean its not even a thought that crossed my mind, I have been collecting consoles I dont use and giving them a happy home on display for years, and in that time I have accumulated 8 Switches and have zero intention of getting rid of them for as long as I am breathing, I will welcome 'Switch 2' with open arms day 1 and any revisions it has throughout its life
the thing is, when we eventually see the poster I want to see Link, Zelda and Ganon(dorf) not just three celebrities in Zelda Cosplays. Thats the problem I have with Tom Holland, he would probably be okay in the role but I would never see him as Link, just Tom. Thats why Uncharted didnt work, imo the movie was just fine, nothing more, but the casting is why it was poor. because that wasn't Nathan Drake, that was Spider-Man. Type-casting is real. Daniel Radcliffe will always be Harry Potter, Elijah Wood will always be Frodo, RDJ will always be Iron Man.
For this reason I really would like to see new actors, specifically chosen because they were the best for the role. Not because they have a good track record for getting butts in seats.
For me, and others have said this, a HUGE factor is whether or not the physical one allows me to play current gen Switch Games. Like the PS5 being able to play PS4 discs.
If it only plays Switch 2 games then idc either way but I would still probably buy the physical one because it just gives you options, second hand, trading, selling on once done, etc.
I'm really looking forward to jumping into this, I really love Mario but have never found the 2D entry that clicks with me, the switch has been the console to make me a fan of so many series that previously went under the radar for me so I have no doubts its gonna do it again with Wonder!!
With the Splatoon 3, Scarlet + Violet & TOTK editions being so darn pretty, why on earth would you buy this one, its just so uninspired, even if they kept it the same but added a big mario logo on the front of the dock it would be better. I have 7 different SpEd switches and even i'm not bothered by this one, that's gotta say something about how bad this design is. I work in a game store and we've sold none so far, people aren't interested, its bad enough that they don't come with the games, at least they usually look nice
I'm so mad. I booked the weekend off work to play games cause I wanted to play catch up with my backlog, but I had to mess my thumb up real bad, and now I can't really do anything that requires 2 hands let alone play with 2 joy-sticks.
Had my hands be in gaming condition I would be playing through Pikmin 1+2, finishing TOTK for good, and getting a good way into Assassin's Creed Mirage. I then have been playing Cocoon in bed which is awesome. but now im just gonna be sitting doing nothing... So Mad
@Logicfire You are one lucky gamer, my personal favourite game of all time, you are in for a darn treat of a game that I wish I could experience it for the first time like you are now <3
Just picked up PIKMIN 1+2 physical so I can finally start my PIKMIN marathon!! I've bought them all but never played any of them so I'm very excited to dive in head first and play all 4 over the next few weeks
I think I did pretty good at avoiding similar feelings with TOTK, I didn't watch anything and muted hashtags for the first couple months after the game launched. I have a playlist of interesting looking TOTK videos on YT that im saving until I'm 100% done with the game, FYI 230hrs in still haven't done Ganondorf yet. I'm now open to memes and shorts, and seeing people's Zonai creations but as for story stuff, nah im staying out of all that until im done. Its not just avoiding spoilers either, I don't want to feel like I'm behind or not part of the zeitgeist until I'm ready, zero exposure means zero FOMO
Not Nintendo related, but topic related, I'm a huge fan of the Lego Games, 100%ing them is genuinely so much fun to me and the reward for doing so is usually awesome.
Last year, when Skywalker Saga came out I was eagerly waiting to sink my teeth into what was promised to be the biggest Lego game ever.
Went onto YT having deliberately watched no videos on the game only to have the reward for 100% completely spoiled in the thumbnail of a recommended channel I had never watched...
Needless to say, it soured me so much I haven't touched the game since, it ruined the whole thing.
I'm definitely of the opinion that you should only watch enough to decide whether or not to purchase a game and then once you've made that choice don't look up/watch anything else, because it will only diminish the total enjoyment you can consume.
For example the Depths in TOTK, I am still shocked that Nintendo kept that a secret, and my jaw hit the floor when I first went down there, I was stunned for days and exploring it I felt like I wasn't supposed to be there, like I'd discovered something nobody else was doing, it was a childlike euphoria that I won't soon forget. Nintendo Magic.
Re-reading my comments I think I come off a little overheated, I truly hope you guys don’t take my words personally. I think this is a really interesting topic and I have a lot of strong opinions and of course you all are entitled to yours too, it’s really interesting hearing other people’s takes on stuff like this, hope we can keep up the discourse
@Astral-Grain Tbh not really 😂 I love my PS5 but I don’t play it that much, I don’t play most of the big games on the system I just think some of the views in here about current Xbox got me all riled up
@Raffles We over hear talking about games making systems awesome and you’re bringing up quick resume as a reason Xbox is better? Like sure that’s an amazing feature, it’s super handy and convenient and I’m honestly quite miffed my ps5 doesn’t have that feature but I don’t buy a console for the colour or the UI, the features or the specs, I buy it for the games, I buy a switch not because it has an IR reader or a kickstand but because it has Mario stinkin’ Odyssey on it, I buy my ps5 not because it has rumbly triggers but because I can’t spend another day not playing Spider-Man, ya know? I feel like if the best thing you can say about a console is the menus or the quick resume then the console really isn’t that great.
Again I don’t hate Xbox, game pass is an absolutely fantastic consumer-first service that I use constantly, Forza horizon 5 is the best racing game ever made in my opinion, but there is no denying that Xbox has been slow this generation.
@Mauzuri people don’t just hate things because they like to hate things… They hate them because they hate them… there’s no vendetta against Xbox, I praise them when they do good stuff, I would love for us to have three incredible big players in the gaming space, the sad thing is Xbox just aren’t living to the same standards as Sony and Nintendo this generation. Go back to the 360 days and you were hard pressed to find anyone without a 360, it was an AMAZING console and yet slow releases, poor exclusives and bad hardware decisions has lead to people losing interest in Xbox it’s as simple as that. it happened with Nintendo during Wii U days, I have every Nintendo console to date, I’m about as big a fan with my budget can get and even I didn’t buy a Wii U, there’s no agenda with these companies, we owe them nothing. When they do bad stuff we don’t like them, when they do good stuff we support them, that’s how it’s always worked.
Also I really don’t understand how you can criticise modern open world games, which btw I hate them too, and then praise Hogwarts legacy in the same breath. Is it just cause you love Harry potter because that’s not a great reason. The game is just as generic and bland as Horizon. TOTK has issues for sure but it’s creative flair and daring to be different is what makes it stand out, nothing to do with it being a Zelda in fact it really doesn’t resemble other Zelda games in many ways at all. Also, how you gonna be seriously asking for more Knack?!? Two of the worst games to come from the PlayStation in recent history. Sony really only have 3 open world game franchises; horizon, Spider-Man, ghost of Tsushima, all very different from one another but that really sells short the massive list of exclusives on the platform. Uncharted and the last of us are linear character driven adventure style games, God of war is a modern take on hack and slash games with an adventure/rpg coat of paint, you have FromSoftware with Demon’s Souls, 3D platformers like sackboy and ratchet, roguelike returnal, experimental stuff like ghostwire and death stranding, you’ve got racing sims in gran turismo, some of the best JRPGs coming from final fantasy Not to mention upcoming projects like pacific drive, little devil inside, silent hill, wolverine, kotor, sword of the sea
There’s so many reasons to invest in PS5, but XBOX just don’t have that, and don’t take my word for it just look at the sales figures, over 40 million ps5s sold vs 21 million Xbox’s, that alone should tell you what people are more excited for…
What Xbox are you talking about?? Not the Series X that's for sure... What are these mystical exclusives you're talking about? I can think of like 2 that had any significance on the market and that's over the whole console not just this year, PS5 has a bunch.
Sure the controller is great, but the menus... is that something that quantifies a great console now, the menus? I guess on Xbox you spend a lot of time on the menus hoping they'll add some games to play...
I'm honestly not even an Xbox hater, i'm really not, I adore Forza, I like Halo, Sea of thieves is great, Game Pass is a brilliant service that I use all the time but saying they have the best console this generation is just silly
"so much more fun to play than Tears of the Kingdom. Hogwarts Legacy definitely also deserves to stay in that top 5 - absolutely one of my favourite games this year!" - Okay you're obviously fishing for rowdy replies now right? You have to be, Starfield is fine but is honestly so repetitive and a bit bland and Hogwarts was fun but was riddled with issues, like did you play any other games this year?
Each to their own I guess, enjoy your Xbox dude...
I'll pick this up, probably be some simple fun but I'm really not expecting much from it, probably super easy, somewhat charming but ultimately forgettable. I hope i'm proven wrong though! and that we have another main-stay mario spin off to sit with Luigi's Mansion!
.. and like others have said, it seems really weird for them to have announced this more than a year before its coming out, like Mario Wonder a mainline mario game was in the public eye for only 4 months before release whereas this will be at least 16 months.
I truly think that it was delayed and was probably supposed to come out this autumn/fall but they pushed it back to help fill a gap in 2024, mark my words summer 2024 will be BARREN...
I'm really excited for this but i'll be super bummed if the first one doesn't get the remaster treatment at some point on Switch or Switch 2 because not having it just seems odd, I still have no clue why they did the port of LM1 to the 3DS instead of the Switch...
The more we hear the more this Switch 2 rumour from GamesCom the more it seems too good to be true...
But, that sounds very Nintendo, they always do what we don't expect so I guess we just gotta wait and see as nobody seems to be saying the story in exactly the same way, they're all similar however some mention portability, some mention BC and some mention neither soooo who knows...
Here to quietly say I really enjoyed Scar/Vi despite it being obviously unfinished and broken as heck but what was there was still fun and i'm looking forward to jumping back in for both DLCs which I pre-purchased as soon as they were available a couple months back
All that said I totally appreciate people's disdain and hatred for the game/s because yeah they are simply poor. I still like them tho... yes I am a Pokemon shill, sorry guys, I disappoint myself LOL
I am one of these people that Sean is talking about!!
Just started NMS and tbh im loving the heck out of it! I started Starfield and really wasn't having fun but I got all hyped for a space game, and I'd kept hearing that this was good now so I gave it a try, it's exactly what I want from a space game
Space flight
Air combat
Mindless side quests (sounds like a negative but actually a major positive for me) I love heading off on missions to deliver packages or gather a bunch of materials, maybe find a lost adventurer, sell my goodies that I've come across and hope for the day that I will be able to purchase a bunch of starships and eventually a freighter and start my own fleet!!
@nhSnork 44 games one weekend, dude are you speedrunning life? Or maybe Dying next week or something and wanna play every game ever before you kick the bucket? HAHAHA lol im just kidding have a good weekend
I got myself all excited for Starfield last week, after playing a few hours, decided it wasn't for me, honestly the lack of space flight killed it entirely for me. Still hungering for space exploration and hearing the whole "It's good now!" thing over and over, I finally gave No Man's Sky a try, about 10 hrs in, loving it! Exactly what I was after,, a big ol' universe to mess around in, have space fights and i'm loving the delivery missions, its exactly the kind of mindless easy going game I love, great for playing whilst listening to a book or podcast, I do wish that there was a little more in person combat however.
its weird though because sometimes they put effort in, like '3D world + Bowsers Fury' a mario remake, I got a sweet looking steelbook, but the big new mario and theres nuffin...
man, wth happened to pre-orders, they used to come with steelbooks, statues, figures, artbooks, coins, tokens, if it was a keyring then it was a 3d model
but now, its just crappy notebooks with just the box art printed on the front, stickers and png keyrings,, so disappointing, they never have any uniqueness or have anything to do with the actual game.
Tbf this is mostly an issue with Switch era Nintendo games, some other companies are much better, indie games usually being ultra champs cause they have fun stuff in the boxes, recently picked up Tunic and that came stacked with cool goodies inside, a map, a manual, art book, soundtrack, very happy.

@LadyCharlie
She looks honestly perfect
Re: Talking Point: Would You Buy A Digital-Only 'Switch 2'?
For me, and others have said this, a HUGE factor is whether or not the physical one allows me to play current gen Switch Games. Like the PS5 being able to play PS4 discs.
If it only plays Switch 2 games then idc either way but I would still probably buy the physical one because it just gives you options, second hand, trading, selling on once done, etc.
Re: Round Up: The Final Previews Are In For Super Mario Bros. Wonder
I'm really looking forward to jumping into this, I really love Mario but have never found the 2D entry that clicks with me, the switch has been the console to make me a fan of so many series that previously went under the radar for me so I have no doubts its gonna do it again with Wonder!!
Re: Round Up: The Final Previews Are In For Super Mario Bros. Wonder
@tofuman86
I didn't even notice that! thats huge!!
Re: Reminder: The 'Mario Red Edition' Switch OLED Is Out Today, Will You Be Getting It?
With the Splatoon 3, Scarlet + Violet & TOTK editions being so darn pretty, why on earth would you buy this one, its just so uninspired, even if they kept it the same but added a big mario logo on the front of the dock it would be better. I have 7 different SpEd switches and even i'm not bothered by this one, that's gotta say something about how bad this design is.
I work in a game store and we've sold none so far, people aren't interested, its bad enough that they don't come with the games, at least they usually look nice
Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Tops Another 'Greatest Games' List
IM SO PROUD!! My boy Outer Wilds made top 20 beating Skyrim, Red Dead 2, Witcher 3, proud gamer moment, my favourite indie game made top 20!!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 7th)
I'm so mad.
I booked the weekend off work to play games cause I wanted to play catch up with my backlog, but I had to mess my thumb up real bad, and now I can't really do anything that requires 2 hands let alone play with 2 joy-sticks.
Had my hands be in gaming condition
I would be playing through Pikmin 1+2, finishing TOTK for good, and getting a good way into Assassin's Creed Mirage.
I then have been playing Cocoon in bed which is awesome. but now im just gonna be sitting doing nothing... So Mad
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 23rd)
@Logicfire
You are one lucky gamer, my personal favourite game of all time, you are in for a darn treat of a game that I wish I could experience it for the first time like you are now <3
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 23rd)
Just picked up PIKMIN 1+2 physical so I can finally start my PIKMIN marathon!! I've bought them all but never played any of them so I'm very excited to dive in head first and play all 4 over the next few weeks
Re: Soapbox: FOMO Nearly Ruined Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom For Me
I think I did pretty good at avoiding similar feelings with TOTK, I didn't watch anything and muted hashtags for the first couple months after the game launched.
Re: Soapbox: Can You Really 'Spoil' A Mario Game?
Re: Soapbox: Can You Really 'Spoil' A Mario Game?
I'm definitely of the opinion that you should only watch enough to decide whether or not to purchase a game and then once you've made that choice don't look up/watch anything else, because it will only diminish the total enjoyment you can consume.
For example the Depths in TOTK, I am still shocked that Nintendo kept that a secret, and my jaw hit the floor when I first went down there, I was stunned for days and exploring it I felt like I wasn't supposed to be there, like I'd discovered something nobody else was doing, it was a childlike euphoria that I won't soon forget. Nintendo Magic.

@Raffles @Mauzuri
Re: UK Charts: Mario Kart And Zelda Hang Tight As Starfield Drops Back Down To Earth
@Astral-Grain
Tbh not really 😂 I love my PS5 but I don’t play it that much, I don’t play most of the big games on the system I just think some of the views in here about current Xbox got me all riled up
Re: UK Charts: Mario Kart And Zelda Hang Tight As Starfield Drops Back Down To Earth
@Raffles
We over hear talking about games making systems awesome and you’re bringing up quick resume as a reason Xbox is better?
Re: UK Charts: Mario Kart And Zelda Hang Tight As Starfield Drops Back Down To Earth
@Mauzuri
people don’t just hate things because they like to hate things…
They hate them because they hate them… there’s no vendetta against Xbox, I praise them when they do good stuff, I would love for us to have three incredible big players in the gaming space, the sad thing is Xbox just aren’t living to the same standards as Sony and Nintendo this generation.
Re: UK Charts: Mario Kart And Zelda Hang Tight As Starfield Drops Back Down To Earth
@Mauzuri
Skyrim isn’t an Xbox exclusive though…
Uncharted and the last of us are linear character driven adventure style games, God of war is a modern take on hack and slash games with an adventure/rpg coat of paint, you have FromSoftware with Demon’s Souls, 3D platformers like sackboy and ratchet, roguelike returnal, experimental stuff like ghostwire and death stranding, you’ve got racing sims in gran turismo, some of the best JRPGs coming from final fantasy
Not to mention upcoming projects like pacific drive, little devil inside, silent hill, wolverine, kotor, sword of the sea
There’s so many reasons to invest in PS5, but XBOX just don’t have that, and don’t take my word for it just look at the sales figures, over 40 million ps5s sold vs 21 million Xbox’s, that alone should tell you what people are more excited for…
Re: UK Charts: Mario Kart And Zelda Hang Tight As Starfield Drops Back Down To Earth
@BenAV
THIS!!
Yes! Why is it that Xbox owners only ever play casual non-gamer games like FIFA, COD, Fortnite and maybe an Assassins' Creed or two..
Re: UK Charts: Mario Kart And Zelda Hang Tight As Starfield Drops Back Down To Earth
@Mauzuri
Whaaa???

HAHA 'Generic Dude-bro' should be a new genre!
Re: Princess Peach: Showtime! Opens On Switch In March 2024
Now what we need is a Rosalina Luma farming game in the vein of the Chao Garden or Viva Pinata XD
Re: Princess Peach: Showtime! Opens On Switch In March 2024
I'll pick this up, probably be some simple fun but I'm really not expecting much from it, probably super easy, somewhat charming but ultimately forgettable. I hope i'm proven wrong though! and that we have another main-stay mario spin off to sit with Luigi's Mansion!
Re: Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Gets Spooky On Switch Next Summer
.. and like others have said, it seems really weird for them to have announced this more than a year before its coming out, like Mario Wonder a mainline mario game was in the public eye for only 4 months before release whereas this will be at least 16 months.
I truly think that it was delayed and was probably supposed to come out this autumn/fall but they pushed it back to help fill a gap in 2024, mark my words summer 2024 will be BARREN...
Re: Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Gets Spooky On Switch Next Summer
I'm really excited for this but i'll be super bummed if the first one doesn't get the remaster treatment at some point on Switch or Switch 2 because not having it just seems odd, I still have no clue why they did the port of LM1 to the 3DS instead of the Switch...
Re: Rumour: 'Switch 2' Gamescom Demo Supposedly Had Zelda: BOTW Running At 4K 60FPS
Re: Poll: Will You Be Getting Pokémon Scarlet And Violet's DLC?
Here to quietly say I really enjoyed Scar/Vi despite it being obviously unfinished and broken as heck but what was there was still fun and i'm looking forward to jumping back in for both DLCs which I pre-purchased as soon as they were available a couple months back
All that said I totally appreciate people's disdain and hatred for the game/s because yeah they are simply poor. I still like them tho... yes I am a Pokemon shill, sorry guys, I disappoint myself LOL
Re: Sean Murray: No Man's Sky Is Having Its "Biggest Month In The Last Few Years"
I am one of these people that Sean is talking about!!
Just started NMS and tbh im loving the heck out of it! I started Starfield and really wasn't having fun but I got all hyped for a space game, and I'd kept hearing that this was good now so I gave it a try, it's exactly what I want from a space game
I love heading off on missions to deliver packages or gather a bunch of materials, maybe find a lost adventurer, sell my goodies that I've come across and hope for the day that I will be able to purchase a bunch of starships and eventually a freighter and start my own fleet!!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 9th)
@nhSnork
44 games one weekend, dude are you speedrunning life? Or maybe Dying next week or something and wanna play every game ever before you kick the bucket? HAHAHA lol im just kidding have a good weekend
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 9th)
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder GameStop Pre-Orders Revealed (North America)
its weird though because sometimes they put effort in, like '3D world + Bowsers Fury' a mario remake, I got a sweet looking steelbook, but the big new mario and theres nuffin...
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder GameStop Pre-Orders Revealed (North America)
man, wth happened to pre-orders, they used to come with steelbooks, statues, figures, artbooks, coins, tokens, if it was a keyring then it was a 3d model
but now, its just crappy notebooks with just the box art printed on the front, stickers and png keyrings,, so disappointing, they never have any uniqueness or have anything to do with the actual game.
