Spiritfall. Fantastic rougelite that flew under my radar somehow until last week. Smooth 2D action in the vein of Dead Cells with a boon/perk/relic system similar to Hades. Highly recommended.

I've been jumping back and forth between both games and am hopelessly addicted to both, so yeah, highly recommended.

BALL X PIT has sunk its claws in and will have them there a while, I feel.

Really liking this in Early Access on my Mac. Fingers crossed that it runs smoothly on OG Switch.

Been playing Early Access on my Mac for quite a while, and yeah, it's an awesome game.

I poured an insane number of hours into Dead Cells and all the post-release content/DLC, so I'm looking forward to this.

Love all of Soyo Oka's soundtracks, and SNES Pilotwings is no exception.

Like many others, Fantasy Life. Only played for about 12 hours or so, but I can tell this game will consume me for quite a while. Dammit.

I put a ton of hours into Rogue Legacy 2, Balatro, and Core Keeper. All highly recommended if you’re a fan of their respective genres.

@KingMike great point, and in this case, it's not even a gambling game, it's a roguelite deckbuilder that happens to use playing cards.

Finally started Core Keeper on Friday, and it's got its hooks into me quite deeply. Really scratches that Stardew itch for me.

Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde. Fun little Vampire Survivors clone that I've put quite a few hours into now.

@Rainz haha, when I was trying to think of a username I remembered playing PQ games back in the day and decided to go with our fearless protagonist. All those early Sierra games were fun.

Taking a Switch break for the first time in a long time to play some early access Hades II. It is pretty great!

I picked up TMNT: Splintered Fate on sale and it's been fun working through it the last couple of days. The description of it as a lesser Hades is very accurate, but a decently-made Hades clone is still worth playing, given how high Hades set the bar.

@dew12333 it's a roguelike deckbuilder that implements poker hands as part of its mechanics. There's no other connection to actual poker besides the fact that both utilize traditional fifty-two card decks.

Void Scrappers. Really fun Vampire Survivors-like that should keep me occupied this weekend.

Incredibly important game for Nintendo, but am I alone in thinking the game itself was only okay? If anything, it's more an example of what shrewd marketing can do (to Nintendo's credit).

As someone who’s obsessed with this game but does find it a tad ruthless at times, I welcome these changes.

Good on Pathea for trying to right some wrongs, I guess, but they’re 2-for-2 for releasing horribly broken games that needed a raft of patches and fixes. Maybe they should focus on making sure their games are suitable for release instead of scrambling to do massive damage control after the fact.

Balatro still owns my life.

That’s too bad. DE is one of the best games I’ve ever played, and I was looking forward to seeing what else the team could do.

Just finished up with the Mario RPG Remake and am now knee-deep into Astral Ascent. AA is so damn good.

I was really interested in Potion Permit when it was released, but I was scared off by the reported bugs. Anyone know if they’ve been patched?

Chained Echoes is absolutely incredible and gets my vote.

Rogue Legacy 2 is my GOTY. So amazing and addictive.

As a young kid, Phantos chasing me when I picked up the key in Mario 2. Also Judge Doom jumping up from the ground and having to be sprayed with dip in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? for NES.

A level or two of Shredder’s Revenge in Story mode.
A boss or two in Cuphead.

I did experience the same death as the reviewer, and basically had the same reaction - a smirk and a “you sneaky *****” mutter. I wasn’t even looking at the screen when I died, haha.

Love this soundtrack so much. So damn good.

Really enjoyed the Dead Cells soundtrack.

Played through the demo of Triangle Strategy and while there were things I liked and can definitely see why it would be someone’s jam, it’s not really my thing, so it’ll be BC2 on Dead Cells for me.

Still having lots of fun with Hades.

Katamari is very much worth picking up if you don’t have it.

Picked up Katamari Damacy REROLL in the eShop for 75% and am loving it. So quirky and fun.

I was only aware because I heard Jeremy say it on Retronauts.
