Re: Palworld's Japan Release On PS5 Delayed As Nintendo's Lawsuit Looms

@IceEarthGuard no what you're doing it proping up the small outliars in differing opinions as if they're a part of the bigger consensus.

Literally read all the comments and replies to Palworld with tens of thousands of likes on them lambasting them and their games. Some of them have more likes than even the initial Palworld statemens from both Japanese and English accounts:

Re: Palworld's Japan Release On PS5 Delayed As Nintendo's Lawsuit Looms

@GamingFan4Lyf I think Nintendo didn't do that cuz it doesn't wanna show them any courtesy. Why? Because what they're doing is basically considered disrespectful.

If you read the comments of Japanese people on the game, the way how blatant Pocket Pair are with the game and its promotion of it as a "Pokemon with guns" - it's basically insulting to them and they view it as something that is done in extremely poor taste to Nintendo and it's legacy.

Same with the CEO of Pocket Pair, he's constantly clowned on twitter by Japanese people because of his own comments about how lazy he is, that he doesn't wanna make anything original and wants to just reuse concepts, designs and ideas from other people to make a viral game.

There's even an anecdote going around of him visiting a Nintendo Seminar in early 2010s and him quitting it because "Nintendo is too much about originality and creativity" and he didn't want that.

I find it funny how comments are sad for Japanese players when the majority of Japan and its players hate Palworld and what it represents in their culture. Try reading the replies under Japanese Palworld twitter account, gonna give you a whiplash if you're cheering for Pocket Pair to win this. If anything most of them are probably glad it's not coming over.

Anyways, hope Nintendo buries this lazy unoriginal slop. And yes I think Pokemon games are bad nowadays, it doesn't make Palworld any better.

Re: Nintendo And Pokémon File Lawsuit Against Palworld Developer Pocketpair

Solid_Python

Some of the people portraying PocketPair as the underdog small indie studio taking the fight to AAA publishers is disingenuous at best, they're a company built off an admitted lack of creativity and a drive to chase trends while utilizing the scummiest practices in the industry to try and obtain success.

Supporting them isn't supporting small artists, quite the opposite actually given one of their other titles is all about the use of goddamn AI image generation

Re: Sony's PlayStation Vita Exclusive Freedom Wars Is Getting Remastered For Switch

Solid_Python

@nhSnork if you're fine dealing with ancient hardware and ruining more 3rd party relationships by waiting 2 more years getting less and less new games because of your stubbornness and "backlog" then you do you boo, no one is forcing you to upgrade. You can still keep playing games at vaseline resolutions sub 30fps on your OG Switch, no one gonna stop you 😌
The majority wants to move on already.

Re: Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection For Switch Confirmed As "Code In Box" Release (Europe)

Solid_Python

Capcom Europe being god damn useless once again? Ain't no way! Their Switch support in Europe is absolutely pathetic and godawful, it's almost like somebody at their EU offices has a bone to pick with Nintendo.

They practically never bring out physical games to Switch, they had a bright idea of making the newest ACE ATTORNEY GAME PHYSICAL ONLY ON A PLAYSTATION CONSOLE and now this?!?!? What a joke.

Re: Rumour: 'Industry Whispers' Fuel Speculation Of A Switch 2 Reveal This Month

Solid_Python

This obsession some of you have with the holiday season and sales needs to end already. Nintendo isn't gonna hit their target goal for this fiscal year it's already obvious and Switch 1 and its games wont suffer major losses just because they'll announce a Next-Gen system.

The transitional period for the successor is much more important to the future of Nintendo than an already sour looking holiday season(to the target goal they put on themselves). They said so themselves in their last investor meeting, that they're more than willing to sacrifice a holiday season for their successor plans to move forward if need be.

They didn't move the Direct from September to August and are clearly rushing thru marketing material for M&L, Mario Party and Zelda rn for no reason. I swear half of you people saying "they will show it in 2025" gonna go online on January 1st 2025 and proclaim "why would they sacrifice their holiday season 2025?!?!?! Just hold it until 2026!" lol

Re: Yakuza Kiwami Might Only Be A "Download Distribution" On Switch

Solid_Python

Unfortunate but I think this is for the best for the game to launch at only 20$ Day 1 which is just a great deal, gonna be an impulse easy buy for a lot of people(including me).

I'm pretty sure they'll make a physical once they have at least Yakuza 0 out on Switch as well, then you can make a physical version with both games included for at least 40-50$.

Re: Guilty Gear Strive Confirmed For Switch In 2025, Includes Rollback Netcode

Solid_Python

@Ulysses I don't think you should have this worry with something like Strive, it still has future characters and seasons on its way with new content that the Switch will recieve beyond the Switch 2 release day so it's a pretty easy bet that ArcSys has a Switch 2 version/upgrade already underway as well.

If anything them releasing this port this close to the successor makes the most sense if anything, they're bringing it now to the ecosystem of 150 million players with the hype of a new console coming out in the next 6-8 months, where their game is gonna be fully ready and going with a shiny new Switch 2 version they'll give to people who already dove in with on Switch 1.

Re: Rumour: Leaker Hints At New Nintendo Codenames, Persona 6 On 'Switch 2', And More

Solid_Python

@Buizel she leaked:
-Persona 3/4/5 coming to Switch a year before it was announced
-Persona 3 Reload and Tactica by name months before they were revealed
-Persona 3 Reload approach for DLC and that the Answer will be DLC and not a seperate re-release before the main game even came out
-Sonic Dream Team almost a year before it was revealed
-Sonic Fall Guys competitor (its called Toys Party) 6 months before it was revealed
-Bleach Brave Soul coming to Switch a few days before it was announced
-Puyo Puyo game for Apple Arcade 3 months before it was revealed

These are just some of the ones that I can remember.

Re: New Mortal Kombat 1 Update Includes Switch Fixes, Adjustments And More

Solid_Python

@Truegamer79 it's so much more improved that the devs deserve some props for it imo. The game looks so much better, like day and night compared to the launch blurry playdoh looking graphics it had, the framerate is much more stable and the load times were cut by like 2.5 times. If before it took 45 seconds-1 minute to load a match, now it takes 15-22 seconds max.

Re: My Nintendo Store Reveals Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Pre-Order Bonus & Bundles (UK)

Solid_Python

In June we're gonna get two 3DS games remastered on Switch: Monster Hunter Stories and Luigi's Mansion 2.

Monster Hunter Stories is gonna have better textures, a digital in-game museum that includes over 200 pieces of concept art and music, full Japanese and English voice acting added when it wasn't in the original game, all of the previously released DLC included - all for the price of 30$.

Luigi's Mansion 2 is the same game as 3DS but with better textures - 60$.

Make it make sense!

Re: Review: Contra: Operation Galuga (Switch) - Does The Series Proud, But Best Played Elsewhere

Solid_Python

It's kinda baffling how WayForward was always one of the top devs on Nintendo consoles showing off what they're truly capable of and as soon as they went multiplatform all the games they're involved in run abhorent on Nintendo moving forward.

Bloodstained released almost unplayable and took forever to fix, River City Girls 2 ran like garbage on release day and took forever to fix(they also released an online co-op update for it on everything but...you guessed it, Nintendo Switch), now same thing with Contra running bad. It's ludicrous that a game like River City Girls is running only at 30fps WITH DIPS on Switch in the first place.

I'm surprised Nintendo even gives them a time of day in Directs with how much of an afterthought they seem to be treating the platform during development. This game was revealed and promoted in the Directs because even Konami knows this kinda game would sell best on Nintendo, why wasn't it the main lead development platform for it?
