hopefully this means nintendo will oversee development a bit more so they stop producing lazy content

@Xaessya that's not true at all, the models have been the same since x and y. They would just need to update textures. And even then they technically don't have to do that.

@YANDMAN There are lots of videos on it already, if you look at footage of mario kart, the jumbo screen on some tracks such as luigi's circuit is all messed up, and thats do to emulator limitations, real hardware wouldn't have that issue.

Well, if they remake it, they'd have to finish it...the game had a lot of loose ends and really felt like there was meant to be DLC or something.

the huge open world in breath of the wild is fine...but I feel like it was far too large. If the next game is like botw in terms of world I want it to be 50% smaller and have dungeons like twilight princess where they're massive....and don't all look the same. The tiny dungeons (even the beasts) were far too small imo

@JHDK I disagree, you hardly heard anything unless you were on a horse, and the music you heard the most often (shrines) was incredibly bland.

I've considered doing this, problem for me is that the UI is clunky and garbage, if I made my own snes mini I'd want it to be like my nes mini, not a bunch of text that I scroll through

@setezerocinco nah, the sword is cool but at least with the NA special edition I get a carrying case for my switch....will probably never use it because it will always be docked but it's there if I need it.
i'll see if i can grab the sword off of ebay for a reasonable price a few weeks after launch....or get lucky when i walk into gamestop next friday (unlikely)

I want this but you couldn't get it in stores only online, and I didn't even know it existed until I walked in to pre-order my switch the day after the press conference. At that time everything was sold out and it was hopeless :/

@Kokusho I have a gaming pc with a 390x in it, I assure you the consoles won't blow me away. it will be impressive if they throw a 480 in there sure but unless they take a loss on the console it will be around $400 once again. Though people seemed to be more ok with that this time around.
but either way that's assuming ms or sony want to break even or take a loss, if they want a profit on the console they're going to jack up the price, something sony can't afford to do since most of their other divisions are still bleeding money, playstation is their only profitable division.

ya, there is no way it will even come close to the power of the neo or the scorpio (though to be fair those will probably be incredibly expensive)
