Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U is a game that keeps on giving, but as we all know all good things come to an end eventually. As most of you are aware, we were presented with newcomer Cloud from the Nintendo Direct in November, and then with Corrin and Bayonetta from December's final Super Smash Bros. Direct. Cloud has been available to purchase and download since the latter presentation, but we still have yet to see Corrin and Bayonetta grace our character select screens.
In case you're still unconvinced or sitting on the fence as to whether you're going to spend a portion of your Zelda U/NX savings on these pieces of DLC, maybe Nintendo of Japan's Smash 4 DLC trailer might sway you. Sure, you may not understand what the man is saying, but the trailer is definitely action-packed and showcases the three new fighters, stages, as well as Mii Fighter costumes in all their glory.
It truly is sad to think that all the Smash 4 buzz Nintendo has generated over the course of 2015 has reached its final destination. Have a look at the video below and let us know your plans.

I think there's a new worst pun ever champion!
@Hervine Wohoo!! I've gone from both ends of the spectrum
Definitely looking forward to playing as Bayonetta.
Very cool! Loving Cloud and looking forward to Corrin. I'm not even going to comment on the other here...
Pretty hype, can't lie.
Looking forward to both characters but sad that in only less than 2 months, new content for everything except Hyrule Warriors (and maybe Super Mario Maker) will be over.
"Zelda U/Nx" must be a typo. It's supposed to be "Zelda U".
Bayonetta still looks broken, but I am excited to try out Corrin when he releases.
@amiiboacid no it isn't, its referring to two seperate things. The new zelda game and the new nintendo console
I've bought all the DLC up to Cloud, but I think I'm actually done getting Smash DLC for now and will put those aforementioned pennies toward Zelda U.
People will never be sastified.
You know, ever since Corrin's reveal I've felt a need to say this, so I'm gonna let it out. As a full disclaimer, aka not trying to make a bias towards one series or another, I love every franchise that gets into Smash and can get hyped for pretty much any and all fighters added.These final Smash 4 reveals taught me something:
A good chunk of Smash fans get butthurt over every FE character that gets added that's not named Roy. Seriously, people whined about Lucina being a Marth clone and Corrin being in as marketing for Fates, and complained about both (who were the 4th and 6th FE characters in Smash 4 respectively) as there being "too many FE characters." You know who else is Marth clone? Roy. You know who else was originally added in to market a new FE game? Roy. You know who was added as a 5th FE character in Smash 4, which according to Lucina's reveal, was when we already had "too many FE characters"? Roy. What does Roy get? Thunderous Applause and hype.
It's not the idea that one thinks we have too many FE fighters that bugs me, everyone's allowed to have an opinion on that, it's more the inconsistent logic that happened with Roy's reveal and the others mentioned above (that and some of those same fans were butthurt about not getting more Zelda, Pokemon or Mario characters, which pre-Corrin (and in the latter 2 cases post-Corrin), had the same amount or more fighters than FE, but that's another topic to go off on another day. I know not everyone is satisfied with every reveal, but I figured I'd give my 2 cents on the complaints about Corrin.
Are you in (C)orrin?
Freaking love it! And I am all in!
@ASonic3582 That's why Robin is the best. Everyone loves Robin. Yeah I think the vocal minority forget that first and foremost that Smash is a japanese game made for the Japanese public in mind. That goes for any game that comes out of Japan. Fire Emblem is popular in the public eye even to the casual consumer. It makes sense that A FE character takes one of the last slot in the DLC roster. FE sales like hot cakes now.
But I'm hyped for the final round of DLC. And the amiibo to follow afterwards. Life is incomplete with an Bayo statue in it.
Somebody help I don't get the pun!
@ASonic3582 Well Roy is a veteran, veterans should have priority over newcomers.
How can't people be happy with these amazing DLC characters?! Did you want shrek or more clones?
@ASonic3582 Roy is not a clone, he rides a koopa clown car.
Hearing "Kuraudo" in a Smash commercial is way cooler than it has any right to be.
@OddworldCrash
Sad to say, yes, people want Shrek. Not to brag, but a Youtube comment about Bayonetta put it best: "You're [expletive]ing welcome. --Europe.", which is the perfect response to the [fecal matter]-posting done (supposedly, as far as fan polls go) by other regions. People didn't take the Ballot seriously and kept asking for Goku or Shrek, none of which (especially the latter) has anything to do with Super Smash Bros.. No wonder Sakurai is kind of fed up with the Smash fanbase, or at least its dumb vocal minority.
@JustJulyo Hahaha thanks!
@Spin So instead of saying "Are you out or in?", I've added newcomer Corrin's name there (to replace "or in")! It's lost its so-called "magic" now that I've had to explain it though...
@nintendouken I won't tell anyone if you won't.
Should've just made the punchline upside down like on the back of some candies.
@nintendouken "It truly is sad to think that all the Smash 4 buzz Nintendo has generated over the course of 2015 has reached its final destination."
I know that 'reaching a final destination' is an expression, but how coincidental that you happened to mention "Final Destination"... Joke intended?
@Chubblings Glad you noticed
That pun killed 5 children.
It's a shame for a lot of people that the ending dlc was a disappointment. It's nice to end the game on high, sadly that's not the case for most people. The Smash ballot was not the best idea imo.
