This sounds like as if I had any choice. The limited edition has long since been out of stock anywhere. And no, Nintendo UK doesn't ship outside the UK.

Of course I went with the limited edition... I'm almost more excited for the Sound Selection CD than for the master sword.

The 'Master Sword of Resurrection' accompanied by a 'Silent Princess'... metaphor for Link and Zelda, maybe?

Sooo wanted the Master Edition (comes with all the stuff the limited edition does but also includes Sheikah Slate case, folder out map and sheikah coin) but the delivery cost was way too much as you could only get it from US sites.
Got this pre-ordered from UK Nintendo Store but will probably be delayed or lost as everything i order from that site.

Sticking with the standard physical release. I'm done with limited editions (unless it's something I think is insanely cool- which I understand and respect some people think this is).

Btw, anyone notice that the game box doesn't have a PEGI or USK rating on the front side?

Will be downloading on Wii U at midnight 3/3! My 1TB HDD awaits.

I kid, I kid anyways. I wish Ireland (or Europe for that matter) got the Master Edition rather than just the limited edition. Can't wait for Zelda. Only game for me on launch day for Switch sadly, (VC releases, if they even HAVE a launch VC, not withstanding)

Interesting to note that they picked the Limited rather than Master edition to unbox.

That's a good limited edition. I'm not interested though. I must remind myself that I already have a real size Master Sword replica, and not a cheap one

@Robin_Aisaka I considered getting the strat guide to go with my hardback collectors set, but I realized I never actually use the strat guides, and I'd rather have the Art & Artifacts book

I want this but you couldn't get it in stores only online, and I didn't even know it existed until I walked in to pre-order my switch the day after the press conference. At that time everything was sold out and it was hopeless :/

I just want the CD... and I'm not sure I want to pay $100 for the privilege...

@NEStalgia I use when I replay a game to finish it 100%. The first time I play a Zelda game I like to find out everything by myself.

From the American special edition, I'm excited for the case and for the CD. The map is.... meh, and the coin probably will be in my wallet, like a lucky charm.
Won't get the Master edition, since I'm done with collecting stuff - I'll have to throw a lot of junk away if I move to an apartment.

That is a monster of a box for the size of the sword...suddenly regretting ordering it...I only want to soundtrack really! Hope it's size doesn't slow the delivery speed or I'll have a Switch and no game!

I'd have bought the Special Edition if had had the same contents as the US one, but as usual in the EU we are ripped off big style.

Oh no Eiji Aonuma had stolen a Switch as well.

The sword statue didn't look that great to me so I got the special edition with just the Switch case and map.

The temptation to buy the new console at launch for Zelda is very, very real. I'm not sure if I should cave in or not.

@setezerocinco nah, the sword is cool but at least with the NA special edition I get a carrying case for my switch....will probably never use it because it will always be docked but it's there if I need it.
i'll see if i can grab the sword off of ebay for a reasonable price a few weeks after launch....or get lucky when i walk into gamestop next friday (unlikely)

Considering the box is so huge, I expected more. But all we get the CD and figurine. Not sure it's worth the extra £50. Meanwhile in USA, they get the same and more!

@whodatninja yeah, gamestop are charging €109 for this. I have it and the switch paid off. But think I'm gonna change Zelda to the standard version. Statue is huge and would be an eye sore after a few weeks. And CD will be put on a shelf to never be listened to. Save myself €40 and put that towards another launch game I think.

Bit of a rip compared to the US version. Case and coin including the statue, a map and CD? Much better value.

Wonder if the new fast racing neo will get a physical release. Maybe at launch, surprise release. Probably not

I'm mad that Nintendo didn't add the case, coin or map for Europe. Wish they would do the same types of pre orders for everywhere and not how they are doing it now.

@setezerocinco I almost never 100% games just because I get bored of collect-a-thon completionism, but in a Zelda game I like KNOWING it's not 100%. That way 30 years from now when they re-release it there's still new things for me to do and new secrets to find, like the originals still are today!

I had preordered it for £75 cos I wanted the CD but in the end sold it to my friend. Can't be bothered with the boxes and statuette cluttering up the place.

I'll actually be in the States during the launch so will try my luck at getting the Limited Edition out there but prepared to have no luck. Hopefully Japan will release an official full OST.

As much as I'm a sucker for splashing out on special editions, Nintendo's efforts always look so...amateurish in comparison to other offerings, but this one looks like they've got it together. I'm not enough of a Zelda fan to care, but that Master Sword looks great!

@invictus4000 NA version yes. Not the EU version. NA has two versions Master and Special. Both versions have the map, case, coin and soundtrack while the long sold out Master edition has the statue as well.

@zip Typically I either never receive an Amazon notification or I receive a notification about a week after the product comes into stock and usually after it's already out of stock again. Amazon is the technology king as far as shopping carts go. How can that feature not work still?

I got the Special Edition, but not the Master one. The sword is cool and all, but after what i'll be spending on the Switch I couldn't justify all that extra money for something that'll just collect dust.

I got the Special Edition, which has all the same contents minus the sword figurine. It also looks like this Limited Edition doesn't include the map or coin, which are two things included in the Special Edition in North America.

@nobboysbro We don't have "limited editions" in North America. We have the Master Edition (which includes the Master Sword figurine, coin, map, game, and CD) and the Special Edition (which includes everything but the Sword figure). That's what I was getting at in my original comment.
