Re: Poll: Which is the Best Super Mario Game?

Romeo-75

First I have to say what a list of AMAZING MARIO TITLES , the other thing is Oddessy is an INCREDIBLE MASTERPIECE as far as Mario titles go I was a little let down by Super Mario 3D World on the Wii U, I loved Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS and I loved the rest of the list . Even though it is new Super Mario Oddessy is such a complete joy to get lost in it is massive and may just be the BEST MARIO to date its gonna be fun to watch how well it sells through the holiday season it seems as though Nintendo has captured lighting in a bottle once again.

Re: Analysis: Switch Drives Impressive Sales as Nintendo Delivers Q2 Profits

Nintendo is and was over due a good year and I think they completely deserve to have an awesome year after the amazing lineup of top notch titles they have released this year on the 3DS and especially the Switch they have strait knocked it out of the park with Switch, Zelda, Mario kart DX, Splatoon 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, ARMS, Mario Oddessy which may be the best Mario game ever made its that good, yes oh yes it is that good., Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Doom, Skyrim, LA Noire, and the eshop is saturated with really great games ., Hats off Nintendo Hats off. I kept complaining that the Switch didn't have Netflix and a Browser but with the amount of amazing titles getting released at the current pace I no longer care all I want my Switch to do is play games .

Re: Talking Point: An Era Ends As Nintendo Continues to Ignore 3D on the 3DS

Romeo-75

I will personally miss it very very very much I play with the 3D effect all the way up and love the 3DS for bringing stereoscopic 3D effect to portable gaming and I dont expect Nintendo to release another 3D handheld and I am sad because of it the 3D effect brings so much to the immersion of playing for me so I am really not looking forward to it being a thing of the past , maybe Nintendo will release a Switch with the stereoscopic 3D effect that would be AMAZING and I would be so so so happy.

Re: Soapbox: The Switch Has a Big Problem, and It's Too Many Great Games

Romeo-75

There are sooooo many games getting released on Switch in a short span which is great when coming from Wii U where it was literally two games in the the span of four to six months that were worth playing after Fire Emblem Warriors this week next week is Mario Oddessy not to mention a couple great games getting released on eshop, Skyrim, Doom, and LA Noire are all getting released within the same week and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 drops Dec. 1st WOW JUST WOW.

Re: Feature: The Biggest Nintendo Switch Retail Games of 2017 - Fall / Winter Edition

Romeo-75

I voted Mario which looks nothing short of spectacular , Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which looks amazing and Skyrim as I am one of those who have never played it but I have to say Doom, Fire Emblem Warriors, Resident Evil Revelations and Nights of Azure 2 are up there on my list as well. There are so many great titles coming to Switch between now and Christmas I feel like I'm in a gaming renaissance this holiday season and its a great time to be a Nintendo fan.

Re: Atooi Confirms Mutant Mudds Collection for the Nintendo Switch

Romeo-75

I have the first two on 3DS and I like both, the 3D effect is great so I probably would fall in the category of only wanting this on 3DS and the games seem tailor made for use of the 3D effect though I am a score chaser and an online leaderboards chaser so I don't know if the price is right its a maybe but if you have not tried them the first two are solid platformers I would recommend.

Re: Preview: Jumping for Joy With Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions

Romeo-75

I love this game and cannot wait to pick this up such a fun game for me its my favorite one from the series this and I really liked Bowsers Inside Story which would make a great addition to Switch, throw in some HD and some online co-op play and Bowsers Inside Story would be amazing on Nintendo's hybrid system but back on subject Superstar Saga is a great time I even love the story definitely has one of my alltime favorite bosses from a Mario game I'm looking forward to playing the new content.

Re: Review: Star Fox 2 (SNES)

Romeo-75

I literally made it a point to get a Super Nintendo Classic Mini preorder for this ., Come on Friday get here already, I was fortunate enough to have gotten a preorder I really hope Nintendo cranks out a ton of the Super Nintendo Classic Minis so more fans can get one. Untill the 3DS came along the SNES was my alltime favorite system I love the SNES such a great system so many great memories I would have loved the SNES Classic Mini more if it would have gotten thirty games like the NES CLASSIC MINI there are so many more great SNES titles that could have been added like KILLER INSTINCT, DONKEY KONG COUNTRY 2 AND 3, DEMONS CREST , CHRONO TRIGGER, SUPER STAR WARS , ORGE BATTLE , EVO, or EARTHWORM JIM 1 AND 2 there are so many more what a great system the SNES was and still is .

Re: First Impressions: Hell in a Handbasket - DOOM on Nintendo Switch

Romeo-75

The game looks great on the Nintendo Switch, day one purchase for me . I am one of those people who don't care about 60 fps 30 fps or the difference between , to me Zelda Breath of the Wild looks and plays fantastic and I know it's not 60 fps so for me that definitely don't make or break a game for me.

Re: Credit Suisse Forecasts 130 Million Nintendo Switch Sales By 2022

Romeo-75

I would guess around 75 to 80 million units if Nintendo keeps the games and incentives rolling and in this day and age those are astronomical numbers for a gaming system, there are just to many options for gaming it's a way more complex and crowded market these days and I'm sure that's gonna continue.
@rjejr , I would love another 3DS , they could call it the SUPER NINTENDO 3DS .

Re: Review: Pokkén Tournament DX (Switch)

Romeo-75

@KryptoKrunch, LOL so so true., your modern gaming score scale .
For all the people complaining about the score , on Metacritic right now the game has an overall score of 80, which for this type of game is excellent . It's listed as having 24 positive reviews and 3 mixed NintendoLife is not by no means the only reviewer to give the title a 9 and there is a reviewer that scores it higher than a 9 and proclaims it a must have and it's worth noting that the game has no NEGATIVE reviews .

Re: Review: Pokkén Tournament DX (Switch)

Romeo-75

I completely agree with a score of 9 , If it's not your type of game it's easy to write it off but if you are a fan of this type of title and you play the game and learn it you realize the actual amount of depth in this game and the Nintendo Switch is the perfect type of system for this game .

Re: Review: Pokkén Tournament DX (Switch)

Romeo-75

Loved this game on the Wii U and have been waiting for it to come to the Switch especially considering the awesome extras coming with the Switch version, the only downside to Pokken Tournament DX this week for me is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 also comes out on the Switch this week . What a great week for Switch owners.

Re: Retail Version of DOOM on Switch Will Need a Download for Online Multiplayer

Romeo-75

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I read your comments from time to time on here and I can tell from your comments you are a Nintendo fan and you are upset with the handling of the Wii U in general and in that regard I completely agree., I will always say the Wii U was such a missed opportunity in so many ways and in certain areas it is still ahead of other consoles including the Switch in that it has a camera on the tablet you can video chat with other users with, the Browser on the Wii U is still the best Browser on a gaming console in my opinion I even used it to file my taxes., LoL the second screen alone is awesome on the Wii U with the ability to offer maps, different perspectives etc., BUT if you have yet to get a Switch I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I almost didn't pick the Switch up at launch but I am so glad I did I like the Switch way more than I thought I would, it's major selling point is the versatility and portability of it but there is something SPECIAL about the Switch that is hard to describe you just have to own one to understand I believe and I really think Nintendo will be able to do great things with the Switch. So if you haven't take a leap of faith friend and pick up a Switch you will be glad you did .
