Romeo-75

@janpampoen, Shovel Knights team are awesome I plan to do the same have the games downloaded on my 3DS, Wii U and Switch yet I will buy Switch physical just to support an amazing team also have the upcoming amiibo preordered, they look fantastic.
I'm glad I've held off on Guacamelee 2 because of my 3DS and Switch backlog I will be all over this come May can't wait to jump in to G2 it looks fabulous and I love the first game .

Re: Review: Etrian Odyssey Nexus - A Stellar Send-Off For A Beloved RPG Series

Romeo-75

My 3DS has never gathered any dust., I play my 3DS as much if not more than my Switch. I still have a ton of titles to keep me busy and I'm still just as amazed by the stereoscopic 3D effect as I was the day I purchased my 3DS, I truly hope Nintendo don't completely do away with the stereoscopic 3D going forward it is such a fantastic feature for video games.

Re: Review: Smite - A Godly MOBA That Gives League Of Legends A Run For Its Money

Romeo-75

Up to this point I have tried all the free to plays on the Nintendo Switch and I can say I lost interest rather quickly in everyone except for Warframe . They allways feel like a candy shell with a hollow center to me with the exception of Warframe, which I can say is fantastic and you never feel like your missing out if you don't make a purchase in Warframe I can't say the same for the other free to play titles where your always looking at a buy now screen to progress.

Re: Feature: How Super Smash Bros. Became The Ultimate Fighter

Romeo-75

@PKBegley., I read your comment and thought that is so true I would most likely have never played a Fire Emblem game if it was not for Smash Bros. and now I love Fire Emblem hands down my favorite strategy game series and Smash Bros. is the reason I played a Fire Emblem title I was curious about Ike and the series he was from.

Re: Feature: How Super Smash Bros. Became The Ultimate Fighter

Romeo-75

Smash Bros. Ultimate is stunningly phenomenal what a great game to just get lost in and have a good time by yourself or with friends. I would even go as far to say that Smash Bros. is the most important fighting game series of the last twenty years by a large margin.
@Desrever., That is a great idea getting a paid DLC Subspace addition I would so totally purchase that it would be freaking awesome to play through another Subspace mode especially with all the characters that are in Smash now. It is hard for me to believe that Nintendo has not at least thought about it, Subspace was and is easily one of the most favorite modes to ever be in a Smash Bros. Title.

Re: Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth Rated By The Australian Classification Board

Romeo-75

Looks interesting might have to give this a go. I'm looking forward to Kirby's Epic Yarn on 3DS., Loved it on Wii. I hate to see the 3DS go out what a brilliant, fantastic and phenomenal little system. So many amazing games . I love the clam shell design of the 3DS and of course the 3D it would be great to see Nintendo give the system a proper successor.

Re: Ronda Rousey Teases Mortal Kombat 11 Invitation

Romeo-75

I can't wait to see some game footage it's been years since I've played a Mortal Kombat game and this will be amazing on Switch, I am sure you will be able to play with one Joy Con and the portability of it for co-op matches will be fantastic,
F-I-G-H-T !

Re: Smash Bros. Ultimate Has Already Outsold Smash 3DS In Japan After Just Five Weeks

Romeo-75

My favorite Smash Bros. title is still Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii loved the Sub Space E., it was and still is great to play with a friend the co-op was just awesome in that game and it has my favorite boss to fight the one and only Tabuu., I am really let down he is not a fighter in Smash Bros. Ultimate . It would be amazing if Tabuu was one of the DLC characters but I highly doubt that happens would be great though. I do like SB Ultimate it is my second favorite in the series so far and by all means is a fantastic game, the success it is receiving is well deserved .

Re: Review: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey - A Worthy Remaster Of An RPG Classic

Romeo-75

Awesome game had a great time playing it when it was originally published I would have repurchased it for the Bowser Jr. content but no 3D so I'm skipping it, just seems a bit lame all the games that get released on the 3DS that don't utilize it's most unique feature the 3D effect. That said it's an awesome game for anyone that has not played it there is a ton to love about it .The Mario & Luigi series is phenomenal, I've liked everyone of them so far.

Re: Ed Boon Shares Official Cover Art For Mortal Kombat 11

Romeo-75

I'm looking forward to this, it is great that
Mortal Kombat is coming back to a Nintendo machine and the fact that the Switch just happens to be a portable machine is the icing on the cake, co-op plays should and hopefully will be amazing on Switch because of the portability. I have not played a Mortal Kombat game in like 7 or 8 years so I'm definitely looking forward to this .

Re: Talking Point: Come In Nintendo 3DS, Your Time Is Up

Romeo-75

I don't think because it's eight years old and sales have slowed down it should be done with., There is a lot the 3DS could and can do there is nothing like it on the market still and what a library of exclusive titles and content . Nintendo could still market the 3DS as a unique and cheaper gaming system they could drop the price to 99.00 and 129.00 release a couple more special editions maybe even another revision of the system. I believe there is still plenty of mileage they could get out of the 3DS just look at how huge retro gaming is, the SNES & NES Classic mini systems were huge sellers they could add more retro and retro style titles to the system with the benefits of 3D and portability the 3DS is capable of producing good looking graphics and NetFlix works great on the system I could go on but just to sum it up I think if they wanted to Nintendo could market the 3DS and if marketed right I think Nintendo could definitely push the system another year or two easily the 3DS is an amazing little system with a lot to offer in my opinion.

Re: Talking Point: What's Next For Nintendo After Switch?

Romeo-75

I would love to see Nintendo make a smart phone, a slider with controls perhaps have a stereoscopic 3D optional screen like my beloved 3DS or I would love a new 3DS model with new updated specs all around. I love the clam shell design of 3DS, the two screens, the 3D effect which is phenomenal I'm a super fan of the stereoscopic 3D I even like the touch screen on the bottom . A new successor to the 3DS would be a fantastic thing in my opinion though I do believe the chance of that at this point is most definitely slim to none do to the nature of the Switch and I like my Switch but it's no 3DS by any means in my opinion .

Re: God Of War's Art Director Has Been Drawing Up Realistic Smash Bros. Ultimate Characters

Romeo-75

The only one I like is the Star Fox. The Samus one I kinda like but I don't like her helmet at all it just don't fit it looks misplaced. The Link one I don't like Link's face much, it looks to sweet and kind the determination of Link's quest is missing from the expression if that makes sense to anyone else. The Bowser one looks like a toad it is my pick as the worst one, Giga Bowser looks more fierce than this. Giga Bowser would kick this little toads ass any day of the week., LoL.
@Silly_G, I completely agree with you

Re: Atooi Details Its 2019 Plans Including A Mysterious Physical Release On Switch

Romeo-75

I really enjoy playing Mutant Mudds I purchased both titles on 3DS and Switch I've not tried Chicken Wiggle yet . I like their games on 3DS more because they make perfect use of the stereoscopic 3D effect looks perfect in MM and Xeodrifter. It would be good to finally play Treasurenauts, though I would most definitely like to play it on my 3DS more and it's not coming to the 3DS now which is a bummer in my opinion but it will be cool to see how it turns out if it ever gets released, its been in development so long now I forgot about it. Hope the best for them and hope 2019 is a great year for them . Would love to see another sequel for Mutant Mudds get announced that would be awesome.

Re: Future Business Shift Could See Nintendo Move Away From Home Console Development

Romeo-75

I read this article and instantly thought, This is very depressing and I really miss Iwata San . I literally cannot stand mobile games with the pay to play and free to play models I've witnessed people paying upward of 100.00 bucks within a month playing these types of games ., Honestly these mobile games are the new con jobs of the industry what ever happened to purchasing a game for 40.00 or 50.00 bucks and you had the complete game. I don't play games on my phone anymore I can't take all the advertising you gotta sit through and the heavy pushing of pay walls disgust me I think these companies should be a shamed of themselves.

Re: Video: You Can Actually Play Games With The NES Controllers Still Attached To Your Switch

Romeo-75

If these were 20.00 bucks cheaper I would get a set, to me 60.00 is just a bit to expensive though watching Alex play Sonic Mania with a NES controller made me want to own a set., LoL. The Switch pro controller is my favorite controller of all time I love it, it is just awesome I rarely use my Joy Cons for any game the only use my Joy Cons get are when I play in handheld and honestly I play my Switch docked way way more than handheld.

Re: Feature: Our 15 Most Anticipated Nintendo Switch Games of 2019

Romeo-75

My list is;
Fire Emblem Three Houses
Bayonetta 3
Metroid Prime 4
Mortal Kombat 11
Doom Eternal
Pikmin 4 would be an amazing surprise
Luigi's Mansion 3
Pokemon
New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe
The forth chapter of Shovel Knight
With the Indie games that are coming to the Switch e-shop it seems there will be a lot of great games to play in 2019 on my Switch.

Re: Feature: Game Of The Year 2018 - Staff Awards

Romeo-75

Smash is a 10 outta 10 in my opinion as well, amazing game . The game that has taken me by complete surprise though is
STARLINK: BATTLE FOR ATLUS ., I literally cannot quit playing I would highly recommend it to anyone on the fence it is an absolute joy to play and the Nintendo Switch version's Star Fox content makes it all the better. I would go as far as to say it is a must have for any Star Fox fan you will not be disappointed and you can get a copy of the game for half off about anywhere at the moment even if you want to buy the ships they are 12.59 at GameStop and they are made of good quality you can even just go digital and not mess with the ships if you choose which the starter pack for Switch comes with the physical Arwing, Star Fox , Mason Rana, two weapons and a digital download of the Zenith ship and extra weapon for 39.99 I think it is a fantastic deal for a fantastic game I don't think you really even need to purchase anything else other than the starter pack to play the whole game . I hope more people will give it a go. it is definitely in my top three games for the year.

Re: Soapbox: 8 Nintendo 3DS Games We'd Love To See On Switch

Romeo-75

My picks would be;
New Super Mario Bros 2
Metroid 2
And the one I would love the most would be Kid Icarus Awakening it would be phenomenal to have an HD port of Kid Icarus with proper controls . There is another title that would be great for an HD remake Castlevania Mirror of Fate., I had a lot of fun with that game.
