The only effective way to let them know those prices are not ok is to not buy their products. The 3DS didn't sell and they dropped the price. There will be a minority that will pay the price no matter what, but then they have to take measures. I mean, in the ends it's the basic rule of commerce. One thing in gaming I never understood is people that buy new games as deluxe editions with some gimmicks for higher prices, they continue selling them so I guess there is people buying, but most people, I guess, waits for a reduction in price of the basic game. Nintendo gas always been different in this but if they don't sell enough they will have to consider the reasons.
I actually like the design of the western cover much more, but the golden one is... I mean... It's golden! And so original. I would love to have it in my collection!
The only way tu stop scalpers is to stop buying from scalpers and wait for new hardware to be available. Generally if people could act thinking about the greater impact of their actions instead of considering only their own need (especially for things that are non necessary to live), the world would be such a better place.
What if it's a "Custom" button? It might be programmable and give you access to any menu option you want (airplane mode, gallery access, opens Bowser... Ehm... I mean browser). That's not funny but might be useful
It's probably a game nobody would talk about (at least not as much as they are doing right now). So I guess the developers have been clever getting a lot of spotlight. It's not even on Nintendo consoles but it's on a site about Nintendo. People tend to be so in need of expressing their opinions online that it's actually pretty easy to catch attention through controversial topics. And because of this the game is probably going to sell a lot more than it would have with a more anonymous/original design.
This is a pretty close race, even if the NA cover is more eye catching, but I voted for the European. I have really great memories about this game but I also have been disappointed by the Wii sequel, that was way too slow...
I got the master sword just after I discovered you could WALK on dragons! And that was because of a video I saw on YouTube (even if I tried to not watch anything before finishing the game). After I got the sword I started collecting the tears (here I found out after the fourth of fifth that there is a fast way to locate them in the great pictures on the ground...) and I slowly realized the meaning of that dragon. The last tear had the memory of Zelda's sacrifice and I was literally in tears... Such an emotional discovery. After that, whenever I saw the dragon passing by I reached her just to say hello. (And to get some stones and scales...).
I voted for the FDS, but I think it has to do with the nice panorama in the background that made me think of BOTW and hot that game captured the magic of the Classic first game. But I'm still unsure about the sword in the logo, underneath the triangle... Is it a reference to something in the game?
I liked the quest about the Royal Soldiers weapons because that's the first time I entered Hyrule Castle and just exploring that location has been great. I really missed more of that
I don't want to see it and I don't want to hear about it either!!! I just want to be surprised when playing the game! The AST trailer already spoiled part of the gameplay mechanics.... I don't want to see nor to know 🙉
I've played it on WiiU and twice on Switch... Now I restarted the fourth time... I really love how it develops, the freedom e that makes every run seem like the first one
I've played a lot of this game on the N64, still I'm not sure I've finished it, but I have a lot of memories about it. With all the great platformers on the N64, anyway, I also remember this not being among the best
Somebody already mentioned it and it has mixed opinions, but I really think that Star Fox Zero is great because of the particular control scheme. It needs some time to click but it's actually an interesting experience. Also ZombiU makes great use of the asymmetrical gameplay. I guess those two games are a must play for the experience
I still have 1 and 2 on disc for my dusty WiiU, I think I'll revive it for those... I'm so excited for nr. 3! It's also releasing the day after my birthday so it might be a nice gift!
I'm not really excited because... They are all ports. I mean, good to have years old games that aren't on Nintendo platforms yet. And somehow they need to be before the new entry gets released
I'm Italian, so I'll probably be watching the movie with a real Italian voice (and language) for Mario, at least at the theatre. Then I'll give the English version a try, just to know what people is all about. When I was a child I never really understood all the big Hollywood names in the ending titles...
"We know we’re showing fans something new that maybe doesn’t make sense to them yet" so... Why show it? They are saying this is going to be great and innovative but it doesn't seem they can prove it... Games are not made of words. This actually makes me angry and sad, because even if I try to remain positive, I have a really bad feeling about this game. And I can't really understand why. I mean, it's not like sonic team has ever (in the last year's at least) demonstrated to be so innovative. They try and fail more often than not. To me, the last good Sonic 3D has been Adventures on Dreamcast.
I'm really interested in this game and are going to give it a try. You know another game I absolutely loved in early 2000? "No one lives forever". First person Shooters with a stealth element. A remake or sequel of those would be great. But it seems they have become abandonware by now...
This is such a great news! The first two have been some of my first experiences in gaming! This is really great, can't wait and I really hope they are going to get the feeling of those first games (not the ones that came out later... They are just bad...)
I have a really nice story about this game. When I was a child (about 10 I guess), I had the game cartridge of Castlevania IV and the contacts somehow got "pushed" inside the cartridge. So I wrote a letter, I remember, to Mattel, a firm that distributed Nintendo games and systems in Italy and I sent the defect cartridge to them. After some time they sent it back, repaired, with a handwritten letter with thanks to me for being a loyal fan!
You are not a sociopath, because the rules (especially moral rules) are different in video games and actions don't have consequences. I have learned something talking to a young boy who told me that he thought he was used to war scenes after playing so many videogame, but watching a video about Ukraine where a panzer drew over a car with a person inside, made him sick. Videogame are there also to learn about the deepest and darkest fantasies humans have, as every piece of art. In fact, I'm sure young people can learn a lot about violence thanks to video games as long as they don't loose the sense of reality. It's also educational for understanding aggressive behaviour. For me playing violent games is a way to relieve stress, and those narrative games are stories in which you actually suffer for losses (like in a good book or movie), but can change the course of events. But sometimes I also just like going around making havoc... Because it's not a real destruction...
Never played Bloodstained, but I actually loved the atmosphere of Child Of Light... That game should deserve a sequel with a better combat system, maybe. Still, a beautiful game.
Too much work and too my backlog is way too long... I'll be waiting. But I fear that when Bayo 3 and BOTW 2 will be released I'll be driving too deep into those... Still, Kirby absolutely needs some love and those Pink Nintendolife pages represent something lovely (people)
I have such a great memory about this game I would like to share. When I was 15 or so, I went with my parents to a Fair about articles for restoration and bars and stuff. They were working there, so I had a lot of time during the day. Not far from our stand was a game cabinet seller with some cabinets on exposure you could use for free (not so many, about 3 or 4). One of them was The House of the Dead! The big screen, the red and blue guns... Amazing! I spend a lot of time there, playing alone or with random people passing by and sometimes really playing as in "cowboy mode" with both PQ and P2 guns! So this is a actually a game I have fond memories about. Got it on Dreamcast years later and also bought the Light gun for it.
I never thought about it... But I actually miss the Miiverse on WiiU. I wasn't really all that active in the community, but it was a really cozy environment.
I had a very nice time playing the first game. It was interesting, relaxing, puzzling, not really difficult but actually really smart and has a great atmosphere. I guess this is going to be as long as the first, I finished that in, I guess, a couple hours. I really think I'll get this at some point.
I think it's cool they introduced soccer, even if I am not a fan, but il actually looks funny and a bit different. But I can't really understand why Badminton if there already is tennis... I mean, in real life they sure are different, but in game... I'm not sure. I would have liked some other sport instead. I guess the title has a budget price because they are planning to introduce more sports through paid DLC's (or including them in the Online subscription)
I didn't Even played this game because just playing the demo it made me sick. I mean, literally sick. There is something in the camera movement, hot the perspective changes, that gave me nausea after 10 minutes or so into the first level of the demo and I had to stop. It never happened before in a game, at least to me.
I really think they are all on the same level, so I really don't have one favorite. I am just replaying them on the 3DS (where they can be found all together!). I'm sad Apollo Justice is so far behind, it was my first AA game and I actually like Apollo more than Phoenix... (Don't hit me please)
@Kidfunkadelic83 why not? The final parts of the games and the end bosses really go over the top and the games have a wicked but actually good story. Sure, I'm not really good at those games, but it still was great fun to finish them.

Is the Bluetooth Audio support going to work better on the switch OLED? I mean, maybe it does have a better hardware (lower latency and higher volume). Probably the first switch wasn't made for bt audio (that's why it did not support it in first place) and they didn't want to make 2 different firmware updates
Looking at all those comments this seems either a big mess or a clever marketing campaign. I mean, they know that people will ask them about the game and all their answers may be interpreted i a very positive manner or in the opposite. Still, there's a lot of talk around Bayonetta 3. Maybe they are being ambiguous on purpose?
I don't like those designs... Too similar to IOS. I actually like the simple design of the switch menu and without the folders i sometimes open the full list of game tiles and run thought them, it's always exciting because sometimes i find a game I bought, started, forgot about and it seems like a totally new game to me! ....
