Re: Dylan Cuthbert Voices His Thoughts on Star Fox Zero

I also liked the game, and after some time of getting used to it, the controls give a great immersive feeling. My greatest complain are actually... The Boss Fights! I know they got lots of praise, but I really didn't like them. They were all ver similar in the scheme: Shoot weak point, avoid attack, shoot again and there are non on rail boss fights like the ones I enjoyed more in SF64. And the biggest disappointment was the final boss, especially because -SPOILER- of the missing "true" ending...

Re: Michel Ancel Posts Another Beyond Good & Evil 2 Teaser Ahead of Vital Shareholder Meeting

Ricube

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I'm just trying to lower expectations because I don't want to be disappointed, in the end. My only wish is that BG&E will come out on NX, I don't really care if it's exclusive (even if it would be a nice fan service). I see your points, but except from speculations we have absolutely nothing. And I've learned that rumors are very often untrue, even more in case of positive rumors.

Re: Michel Ancel Posts Another Beyond Good & Evil 2 Teaser Ahead of Vital Shareholder Meeting

I really don't think it will be a NX exclusive, especially from the picture before, in the post he thanks Ubisoft, not Nintendo. They could still make a ZombieU, but investors will not be amazed by an exclusive game for a console nobody knows anything about and from the company that has, in this moment, a failed console. (I love my WiiU, as I still love my Dreamcast, but they are both commercial failures)

Re: Talking Point: Free and Early Access Downloads Like Metroid Prime: Blast Ball Make a Lot of Sense

Ricube

I still have lots of demoes installed in my WiiU and 3ds. I sometimes even play them. There are some of them that made me absolutely buy the game, like The Wonderful 101 or Bayonetta 2. The thing for me is that a demo can make me want to buy the game the moment I play it, because I really feel it works for me. It's like a test, in the end. For example I would really like to have a Xenoblade X demo because I'm still not sure I would like that game, there are more reasons to not got it, but a good demo could change my mind, even just making me try the combat system. Other demo versions, especially for cheaper e-shop only games made me buy the full game, I remember Trine 2, for example, and others. In this case I don't know... Blast ball is better and more fun than I expected, but I'ts not like it is giving me a taste of Federation Force. Gameplay videos make me think of a more action and less exploration focused game and the worst parts In Metroid Prime games are, for me, the action sequences.

Re: Nintendo Download: 7th July (Europe)

Ricube

I might finally get Splatoon, my only trouble is the bad internet connection I have at home, it's also a big trouble playing Smash Bros because my upload speed is really bad.
I highly recommend Nova-111, it's a great and challenging action puzzler. Layton and the eternal diva should also be a game
Too bad it's only 3DS, because it could get boring watching it on that screen (low res). You can even find it on youtube in japanese...

Re: Nintendo's Third Party Game Sizzle Reel Shows Off Some Download Gems

Ricube

@Kirk that game is from a developer calle MixedBag. They are already developing forza.8 For Wii U, a game that was also in the E3 demos but isn't out yet. I wonder what happened to it? And why did they announce a porting of Futuridium? Both games are pretty old by the time they'll be released, so I don't really understand why it takes so long.. Anyway you can find a free version of this game, Futuridium, for PC and Mac on their website.

Re: Nintendo Download: 25th February (Europe)

Ricube

I really don't get all the excitement around the GB Pokémon games... I played a lot of Blue when it has been released, but in case I would get a newer game... Maybe I'm getting too old to understand this, or is it only nostalgia driven? Anyways, I would love to se a sequel or even a remake of Pokémon snap, the perfect WiiU gamepad game!

Re: Eiji Aonuma on the Idea of Giving Link a Voice

Ricube

...and then you think about how People reacted when Samus got a voice. I enjoyed Other M, but the character changed and lost personality when trying to give her one. From Wind Waker on they worked a lot on Face expressions for Link, in 3D games and that is the right choice, continue that way. I usually have also subtitles when playing games with voice acting and I often skip the talking because I read faster than the characters speak, I also think dialogues in games are often far too long and boring...

Re: The Official Legend of Zelda Timeline Has Been Updated

Ricube

Please Nintendo, stop timelining and give us a date or at least some information about Zelda WiiU! From what Anouma once said, that they are taking inspiration from Hyrule Warriors, having fights going on even when the player is not there and a land of hyrule that looks not very populated, I guess the new game will tell the story of the war in Hyrule that ended with the goddess creating skyloft... It would be great to be in a Zelda world where NCP's are more actively involved!

Re: Sales for Dementium Remastered Have Been Much Lower Than Expected

Ricube

I don't think they are bad as developers, they only have a bad marketing and a strange development schedule. I mean: People have been waiting for Treasurenauts for years, in the meantime they made 2 remastered. I would gladly buy moon chronicles and dementium but... I live in Europe. By the time it comes out here I'll probably forget about it.

Re: Hover: Revolt of Gamers Will Be "Properly" Recreated For Wii U

Ricube

@Xilef As the first comment said, Project C.A.R.S. did the same. The thing is, they never really planned to do a WiiU version, if they are pushing it for a later release after the other consoles. That is like saying: "first we are going to do the other versions and invest in them, if we make enough money and still have time, we're going to do the WiiU version". He said: "We’re using Physically Based Rendering and other rendering technologies that don’t really run well on WiiU", so what? You didn't knew that before? I was actually interested in this, as I loved the two games it takes inspiration from, but I'm like 90% sure it's not going to happen.

Re: Talking Point: Deep Breaths Are Needed as Highly Anticipated Nintendo Direct is Confirmed

Ricube

Why did no one mention the new Metroid Prime? Oh... Right... I'm sorry... Still, they'll probably show something more to better the bad image of this game that many felt as a disappointment, not because it was really as bad, because it seemed like good fun, but because it wasn't the Metroid game people expected... Still could be refined. Anyways, they already said that there are still games that have not been announced yet and there still is project guard, somewhere... Right?

Re: Review: Hold Your Fire: A Game About Responsibility (Wii U eShop)

Ricube

@alkteriosgames Thank you very much for your response. It means that you really care about people appreciating your game. I was unlucky because it seems that all download codes has already been used, but I will follow your work because i actually like original games that can make you play in different ways. We'll see..

Re: Feature: Nintendo Franchises We Want to See at E3 - Star Fox

Ricube

I would like to see a game similar to the Gamecube Star Wars games (rogue squadron). Maybe split into episodes that would explain the sgort development time. Anyway, after playing a lot of starfox 3# (still the most favourite starfox, as it seems) i think I'll get this new WiiU game!

Re: Video: Defy Gravity With These Sonic Lost World Glitches

Ricube

@Nico07 What I meant is just that after playing the Sonic demo I thought it might be fun, but after playing the full game I realized that it's not a good game and Sonic absolutely deserves better. Anyway, it's just my opinion. Maybe I'm just becoming older and the my gaming habits are changing...
