It is nice that Digital Foundry is here to give insights. Though a pokemon game was never going to do well with them. Gamefreak on a technical level is just lazy and uncaring. Though the gameplay might be good Gamefreak needs assistance from Monolith Soft or another more experienced studio. Since gamefreak can barely do pokemon games on the switch. A frnachise this big should not have technical issues this big.

Well I might check out apex just to see how it runs. Just 100% PvZ on steam last December so not too interesting. Only cared about FF Tactics but nothing new. Adventures of Elliot has a bad name but and a annoying fairy but going to check out the demo for the sake of it.

People are really upset that Digital Foundry is doing their job. DF already said in that review that they like the switch 2 and DF just pointed out it's short comings. Digital Foundry is the tech review they go through the weeds too find smaller issues its what they do. Enjoy your switch 2 DF is just telling Nintendo what they need to do better in a later revision.

@Tayrailbridge the lock on in pikmin 4 is a sin. Idk why they had to do it 1,2, and 3 just felt so much better. Played all four on switch. Though i did try the version on pikmin 2 on pc and it felt amazing would love an offical version with mouse controls.

@Anti-Matter at least mirco SD express cards should get cheaper. As the Switch 2 is a recent mainstream application of the tech.

@Pat_trick switch is at least getting the expansion. The expansion that never made it to ps4 and xbone due to performance issues.

Sadly this is such as industry standard with discs. The cd project red cart is the rare instance besides first party of the game being on the cart.

I will let them cook but this seems like a odd choice.

I may double dip just to test the switch w version especially if it has cross save like the witcher. Already got 100% on pc loved the game and it ran great on my 3070 at 1440p when i turned off ray tracing in the dlc.

Loved the first Xenoblade, the third Xenoblade, and Xenoblade X. I'll probably get to Xenoblade 2 at some point, just have to be in the mood. From the outside looking in, the tone seems very different from the other three. I can't wait to see what Monolith makes next. They're probably one of my favorite development teams at the moment.

I do not care for the recent games but I have a soft spot for the card game. Probably going to check it out. (I should really get into magic or something)

This is pretty cool don't really know what 3ds games I would want to use this on though. The more ways to play old games that aren't really sold the better.

After playing Arecus and thinking it was okay I am just going to stick with gen 7,5,3. I hope gamefreak gets the development time to make an actual fleshed out open world. Xenoblade has spoiled me

No loss it is easy to emulate but hopefully nintendo figures out that people will emulate games like fe radiance instead of paying hundreds of dollars for a game. I only buy physical copies of old games I really enjoy that aren't super overpriced.

I love to see the pikmin and xenoblade rep. Though putting wind waker HD and GC in the list was kinda odd. Still though I lot I can agree with and a good reminder of the Game cube games I need to play, that horror one looks cool

The only grip I have so far is that the lock is annoying.
My worry is that the game might be too easy with all the stuns available but it is way too early to say

Pikmin carried the direct

Well once I get money time to not play Pikmin 2 on dolphin but on switch. Pikmin 2 always played like a perfect portable dungeon crawler.
Edit: I hope the physical version comes to the states

Xenoblade X please

Give back Wii u era virtual console. So I won't have to find pikmin 2 myself. I understand that some people will just play the first Metroid prime on dolphin which drops sales. But most people use dolphin since it is the only way to play some old games and and sometimes it's used for lesser known titles which will probably never see the light of day. Good virtual console will kill most dolphin usage since people will be able to play the big games from the that time easily.

Dolphin is perfectly accessable on the website. I don't really see any benefit of it being on steam. Just in case though make sure you get Dolphin installed before this mess possibly explodes into a problem for the emulator.

Old games need to have some ways to be played if nintendo doesn't offer it others will. Considering the price of games like FE path of radiance I don't blame them. Wii u had a great virtual console with decent pricing, easy availability of a lot of games would stop the majority of piracy. As shown with the early days of netflix

Also I forgot to mention that we should be able to how much a weapon is degraded. Either in a Minecraft system or a X/100

I love weapon degrading it is a necessary evil. Having weapons that never break would make combat trivial and boring. I love of how in most BOTW/TOTK combat you are just making it up as you go. Though we should be able to repair weapons.

Looks like it is worth the extra 50 dollars for newcomers.

I played this game a lot on pc. So i am definitely going to try this out. Just hoping for cross progression. I can also trust Respawn pretty well they same to care about this game.

Tetris 99 is the best game they added to the service. I am tried of all these NES games. Hopefully they release SNES games in September during the first anniversary.

Halo on switch? One can Dream.

Halo on switch sounds like a dream. I love the halo series so much i would buy mcc in a heart beat on the switch. i would have then on xbox, soon to be pc, then maybe switch. Although it will still probably only happen in a dream.

I was one of the few who enjoyed the game so far i am enjoying it. But they should have ported the trilogy. Next year hopefully they bring black flag to switch. Although there is a slight possibility that rouge could come to the switch.

My thoughts is this is a 8/10. I personally enjoyed it overall

Civ 6 is what i am playing this weekend
