2027 just on Switch 2 got: The Duskbloods, Kirby, Metroid, Xenoblade. I will be eating good, and this is without counting third party games I will buy on my PC like the RE veronica and KH 4. 2027 is looking like a great year

I hope we at least get a break from the remakes first. Save something like Mario 64 remake for Switch 3. Too many remakes in general have been coming out lately. I am sick of these remakes

I don't think this update is going to give Pikmin 4 the spice it lacks. Though with that said love to see more challenge stages

Well, now it is the game I am most excited for in 2027

7 might be my favorite Resident Evil game. I love the dlc for RE7 and I love playing RE7, which is odd because I greatly dislike Village

I am not a huge Capcom fan, but they just keep delivering

Tempted to pick up another RE 2 copy. Also, haven't played 4 yet so also kinda tempting

@Sonicka Personally, I think that while it is a bridge between 1 and 2. Two tells you enough of what is going on and Sora doesn't remember what happened anyways. So new comers are better off temporarily skipping COM, in order to get more engaged with the franchise first.

The post launch content saved this game. Personally I have decided that it is just ok, some of the gameplay is great but the story drags it all down. Though, it is a shame this game got a meh port, should've easily had an option for a locked 60 fps at variable resolution. This game may not even be close to my favorite but it deserved better

Already got the whole collection on steam. Though another copy of KH 2 is tempting

@Sonicka Personally I think Recom is skip able and new players should skip it. Revisit after they get more invested in the franchise, just too strange in comparison to other titles. The story also really isn't much, though the riku section is important. Which is why I believe it should be played sometime before 3 or DDD. I am now enlightened and no longer properly hate on kh3, after my Revisit i have decided that it is fine. This was going to be really short then I went on a tangent

Loved getting the 100% on this collection on steam a few years back. Dream Drop Distance is my second favorite KH game

KH 2 is peak, collection is worth it just for it

Love to see Xenoblade that high up. Also would love an oled screen simply because it would result in a better battery. The switch 2 battery is great when you got a short break, but can't really binge any games

GKCs are just such a nothing burger to me. Glad to see many others are neutral. I love a proper physical but, i buy mostly digital. So a gkc game just means, i buy the game just digitally

@kmtrain83 I already saw the blend in three houses, while it was fun for two runs it got old. So, by no means am I checked out of this game, just waiting a little bit

@kmtrain83 The one by Gfinity, I was worried about too many "persona" elements. Also disappointed that the dungeon crawling isn't like Echoes. I am here for good writing and SRPG combat

That 7/10 review is talking a lot about what I am worried about. I think I will wait for the hype to die down before I pick this one up

@HadokenDX RE 7 is just about flawless, did two runs of the game so far and most dlc not an issue in sight. Also most analysis channels showed locked 60. I hope RE 2 gets the same treatment

It was an Okay Direct. Pikmin, Kirby, and more RE games are the highlight

RE7 was a treat on switch 2 so may consider picking up another. Could double dip on RE 2

@electrolite77 I meant remakes in general. To name a few: Star Fox, Halo, AC Black Flag, Moana, Rayman Legends, OoT. Just so many remakes and most remakes aren't that much better than the original or fail to hold the atmosphere of the og think Demon Souls remake.

@Ooccoo_Jr My biggest problem with fromsoft games is that the npcs require a guide. I don't mind exploring and finding a really difficult place but, I stopped trying with npcs

@Ooccoo_Jr I disagree with the need for guides. I only used guides for clean up when I finished the game, past that the game naturally led me in the correct direction.
