Re: Review: SEGA AGES Alex Kidd In Miracle World - A Cult Platforming Classic, Tastefully Reimagined

@Mr_Pepperami I disagree. Alex Kidd in Miracle World was an extremely ambitious game and did things Super Mario Bros (the first one) didn't. The overworld map, the RPG elements (item shops, magic) and the story itself... Alex Kidd is a more fleshed out adventure. Gameplay-wise, SMB is faster, has better controls, and may have better characters, but Alex Kidd in Miracle World is at the very least an 8 out of 10 game.

Re: Super Bomberman R's Price Still Has Yet to Be Finalized

@Jcdbengals I was just thinking this as I read through the comments. I remember buying Saturn Bomberman for $50 back in 1997 and it was the best time. There was no "I won't buy this if it's more than $30" blah blah blah... spoiled indeed! As long as it was a good time it didn't matter how simple it was.

Re: Video: We Need To Talk About Ghostbusters 2 On The NES

RetroTyGuy

@pandarino I am probably the biggest Ghostbusters fan that my friends and family know. Saw the new film. It was nothing that will change the world or set your heart on fire, but it was a lot of fun at the movies. It shouldn't be compared to the original film. In fact, the film felt more to me like The Real Ghostbusters cartoon show (or at least it expanded on ideas set off in that show). New ghost-catching weapons, lots of action. Love the cameos from the original cast. I thought the film paid loving homage to the original and at the same time showed us something new. Oh, and it was FUNNY. Had me laughing throughout. Was it better than the original? Of course not! But was it the mess that every fanboy on the internet thought it would be? Not at all.
