After the success of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I don't think Nintendo is very concerned about that

I've never played these games. Judging by the trailer, it looks kind of like God of War: Nintendo Edition.

Really interested in this game, and I want to love it. But I'm not purchasing it until I hear about a patch that addresses some of these issues.

It won't happen without backing, people. Pledge some $!

Derp. I'm not asking for PS4 graphics. I'm asking for an equivalent experience that literally every other major Switch release this year has been able to provide: 720p on handheld.

Doom, Odyssey, and Stardew.

The biggest detractor for me is the huge resolution drop that comes with handheld. I can totally understand how 3DS users are already used to the sacrifice, but I expect more from the Switch and its developers.

@roadrunner343 I hear ya, and I share much of the same sentiment. That being said, there's little guarantee that a modern MegaMan would even be any good. They've also released some downright terrible ports of past collections before, so definitely a wait-and-see either way.

Eh...with Rocket League and Mario Kart already on the system, it's going to take a lot to convince me to get another driving game.

Pretty much my reaction too.

Definitely high on my queue list, but I'm going to hold back from immediately buying Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Need to clear much of what I'm playing right to give this the commitment it deserves.

I don't currently get the sense that January and February are going to be gangbusters with big-name releases. If that turns out to be true, I'll likely revisit this then.

Looks very off the wall and random. In other words, it's pushing all the right buttons.

I'm still coming to grips with the fact that I have to walk home every time I want to save. An inconvenience I failed to spot in any of the previous reviews I looked at.

Is that Battle Chasers release date real? I was a Kickstarter backer and I've heard zip about when it's finally going to get here.

I don't consider Nintendo's apps the best mobile gaming has to offer. Far from it actually. And folks that write off phone games as Candy Crush and Angry Birds don't know what they're talking about either.

You should check out Thimbleweed Park if you haven't already.

How does it compare to the iPad version? At a fraction of the price I'm thinking of just getting it there, though I wanted to play this on my TV originally.

Reached that point where I can no longer keep up with the releases, which is actually awesome. Just have to be very choosy. As I wrap up Doom and Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade and Stardew Valley are in my sights, which should carry me deep into next year.

I did buy tickets, but a crisis hit at work and I just didn't feel right about pulling away...so I missed it. Maybe next time, but was a major bummer.

You're not. Marvel vs. Capcom or even the Batman Arkham games would be greatly welcomed.

I think the same thing about most of the properties Lego uses for its games.

The fact that Doom made it to the Switch is already a dream come true for me. It absolutely plays well on the go or hooked up to your TV screen.

Titles I'd love to see come back for another go-around:

1) Darkest Dungeon (confirmed, and I'm super excited)
2) The BioShock trilogy
3) The Batman Arkham games
4) The Tomb Raider games
5) Any Madden game
6) Civilization Revolution

No thanks. But hopefully other folks enjoy it.

My favorite genre (turn based strategy) but I'm unfamiliar with this series. Will keep an eye on it.

Will finish Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows, then round it out with some Doom and Mario Odyssey.

Doom is a very well put-together port also. Bethesda is killing it with their Switch support.

Not to be critical of this article in particular, but where the heck are the reviews?! We just got a dump of games this week, and this is what we focus on?

I'm typically a bigger fan of western RPGs, but this looks more appetizing than starting another playthrough of Skyrim. Will probably wait and see.

I am a little intimidated by Xenoblade's depth, and hearing about low-res assets seems pretty annoying after playing plenty of games on the system without that issue.

I'm just here because of the thumbnail. Click bait gets me every time.
