Re: Review: Adventures of Pip (Wii U eShop)

RegalSin

I like the idea of graphics morphing but it can get annoying as well.

I had an idea for an similar game as well.
I liked the idea but then i saw the queen in her Vector graphics self hovering above in the beginning. That makes no sense at all.

It would be nice as the "new comix zone" but otherwise it looks like something to check out one day.

I don't like the blue knight ghost thingy. I wish it was different.

Hmmmm Starfox is the new Starwars...hmmm
Nintendo hoars out Starfox to devers with games they feel will never sell...hmmm Starfox brings in more cash for lame games where Starfox sighs... and day dreams about a gal that was formally an guy...while fighting off Andross minions....hmmm Starfox is not only the new Starwars it is the new "Kingdom Hearts".... hmm Starfox RPG on the horizon...hmmm other companies use Starfox to remake past games that otherwise nobody would care about...hmmm
Starfox continues to impress people.

RegalSin

Meh........another unoriginal thingy with politely drawn dot eyes, without pupils, Oh look they have blue eyes and blonde and orange hair. I guess those westerners will go crazy over it. Even the ones who would not bite anything from the easterns.

That is nice another "hey lets look that imaginary lifestyle of the Europeans". Blah blah blah and an blah blah blah blah..

This is why I love things from the 1990's going backwards. Because it is not just the same old, same old.

Yeah put on some happy music make the characters extra non-unique.

Re: Review: Rival Turf! (Wii U eShop / Super Nintendo)

RegalSin

"Rival Turf" no literally I was walking by some projects ( short-cut ) and found this thing on the grass outside an window.

I hate looking this game front cover. Two people who have just turned eleven ready to ruin their lives. It is sooooo terrible because nothing that is on the front cover of the US release has anything to do with the game asides the 1970's gang aspects.

I really hate the way people make street gangs look bad. Street gangs were formed from the 1960's way of lifestyle similar to that of Charles Manson ( do not even start with the gruesome this and that because it was not his doing but the followers of him ).
Basically people wanted to start their own civilization and not deal with the "man" rules.
Eventually people started to realize they could make an living selling "stuff" to the rich and wealthy and formed similar communities. Even before this we had the biker gangs, and before that we had the original immigrant gangs. Even Elvis Presley was negatively affected by the gangs aspect.

Point being is the fictional ideas of street gangs of the 1980's ( Commercial 80's ) is actually the former image of the civil-rights movement. People trying to make an peaceful living, while looking good.

The negative image of stereotypes was created specifically to attack immigrants, to create an lower-class that was not productive enough to attain simple things like an house or car.

I could go on with the subject but the reality is that street gangs culture created an backwards racism towards European ( white ) people that resulted in the INVISIBLE RED LINING we have today.

Basically an non-European person ( especially an woman ) will not want to move into an area with European people fearing commercial ideas, along with people unable to get along or just have fun with each other.

Re: Super Mario Bros. Inducted Into the World Video Game Hall of Fame

RegalSin

Museums are always looking for nonsense to put inside. Seriously it is just an money thing. They want people to come inside their museum and gain attention that is all. NY is not the nicest of places at all. Many of the people might seem nice but they are not.

Like you have people who have been shielded from the real world while being guarded by people who have seen the worst of this world.

Re: Donkey Kong Racing

RegalSin

Somebody should write an letter to Rare to release Zinger-Racers. I really love the idea of racing on Zingers, Ostros, Mine-carts, and
Rambi's, and Swordfishes.

I mean why Rareware, why? Maybe DKC racing is hidden inside of DK64 somewhere.

Diddy and Dixie riding an Zinger..ho

I would have so brought this game for the GCN over Double Dash

Re: Mighty No.9 Looks Rather Neat in This 60fps Trailer

RegalSin

I already saw previews of the game. Again it looks like he took elements from MMZero and just revamped them for an blocky, lego look rather then an Cold-hear ted-post-apocolyptic looking world.

The way I see this is that the character is running around naked. I will admit I want to get this but meh

Re: Weirdness: Man Gets Inked In Splatoon, Literally

RegalSin

Well stupid is as stupid does. People with Tattoos have the money to WASTE on them. They also have the money to BURN THEM OFF. You can have an Tattoo removed as well, which mean you need to have money to WASTE BURNING OFF THE TATTOO YOU HAD BEFORE.

Speaking of Tattoo, I once saw an man with an space-age tattoo of the planets. Must have been from the 1960's or so because the man was extremely old and megar. Thin with his skin being really tight but old as well.

I mean seriously I do not hate Tattoos but I hate seeing people with them. Like I see girls with these bright beautiful flower tattoos but I think they are not good of quality at the same time.

Re: New Mega Man TV Series Blasting Its Way to Screens in... 2017

RegalSin

1. I wish and miss when Cartoon animations was aired early in the morning. Nothing like waking up to "Sailor Moon", "Dragon Ball", and others as well.
2. Mario, Sonic, Megaman, DK all had nice animations and cartoons and I wish for goodness.

3. The Ruby Spheres, MM animation was great and THANK GOD they made them realistically sized and not representative size. You know what was also auwsom-o???
the fact that MM, and Roll remained shorter then Dr. Right and Dr. Willy. Even if they are dramatically taller. But that is because Megaman takes place in the East Coast of the United States.

So Ruby Spheres Megaman works out.

If Capcom makes another Megaman cartoon or animation I just wish it would be simple and innocent like Dragon Balls was before they got older ( or stop looking like Tomatoe Comics ).

Re: Matters Of Import: Fire Emblem (Sort Of) Exists On The Sony PlayStation

RegalSin

@dudujencarelli

Kenji orginally made another ill-famous game before MM series all together. Before he had official made the leap from Capcom, the MMX4 or MMX5 was his last game. After/Before that the only games he contributed to was MMLegends, and MMZero ( the real final chapter of Megaman series ). The only reason why ZX even exsist was because blah blah Nintendo new console, and we should support it, blah blah. Magaman Network was also his brainstorming, which he made for his
children.

Kenji made Megaman from the ground up and Capcom was going to abandon the product all together. He did not only make the characters, but HE WAS THE ONLY ONE LEFT ON THE TEAM, when capcom needed resources as they were going to can the project together.

To be more better and understanding, of his nature. The entire game works of Megaman could be traced back to Kenji deciding on working in construction if his career had fail.

Re: Matters Of Import: Fire Emblem (Sort Of) Exists On The Sony PlayStation

RegalSin

@Butt apparently yes it is. The person who made Kirby ( and that Star game that resembles Kirby ) and when he did it as humanly as possible had rights on the production and value of the game.

Basically all unofficial games are products of Nintendo. While only 1-2-3 are the official Story, and theme of Kirby. In fact Kirby 64 was and should have been called 4 but because of production issues ( or the fact the game was not good enough to be called an four ) it was most likely assume the game was the final/final for the series ( at least for the official series ).

Note you said 1-2-3-64. All those Kirby games had the original creator ( HAL-Labs founder ) on board. With K64 he did not want to miss out on the chance to make HIS game in 3d. That is why K64 is not like Adventure/Deluxe or anything else released afterwards.

I don't know but I think some other Kirby games he was apart of. I am not too sure about Mirror or "Return to Dreamland". As the games are never called "Dreamland in which he is apart of.

But yes Kirby is not Nintendo's property stand-alone but the property of the creator along with characters and such.

Speaking of sick mindedness and attitudes you have understand the respect between employers within companies. Especially people who make series.

Take Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Megaman. All of these things are absorbed into Capcom. Because of that the original creators are not getting the credit, or funds ( royalties ) they deserve but the company itself.

Re: Review: Super E.D.F. Earth Defense Force (Wii U eShop / Super Nintendo)

RegalSin

MEhhhhh........there are too many shooters I have yet mastered on HARD-MODE. So until I get bored I might pick these things up. I just got "Final Soilder" and I am trying to enjoy that game ( on my PCE ) and their are some MSX games I want to check out ( with animation sequences ).

The problem with many SNES games I now realize is their influence of the "Desert Strike" ( the war where USA provided weapons to the Orient to fend of Soviets, which eventually got them involved with Iraq dispute. ) ( also FF6 General Leo is based of Colen Powell due to this war ) ( Same reason why Dune have black generals most likely ).

Re: Matters Of Import: Fire Emblem (Sort Of) Exists On The Sony PlayStation

RegalSin

There we go. Nintendo has committed terrible actions against people lives. Seriously the game looks completely different from Fire-Emble. If not it is an better version of that game all together.

What is sad is how this guy is also probably responsible for "FEDA:Emble Of Justice", or even the "Shining Series". Those games just mix together somehow. That is my opinion.

This is not the first time with this problem. Kirby ( a videogame not by Nintendo ) being the original 3 Kirby games ( Kirby 1-2-3 ) all are the product of an employee ( you know his name ) and Nintendo wanted to make an new Kirby game ( for the NES ) and have it sell like the GB game. HOWEVER under-contract KIRBY was the property of this employee and he would not and could not make another Kirby game in that fashion. That is why Kirby-1-2-3 all look different while every other Kirby game is the same thing since the orginal NES and SNES game.

I just knew something like this would happen eventually. Nintendo sues former employee who created Fire-Emble the moment he decided to go away and make an RPG with similar Turn-based....... That sucks.

Just goes to show you that Nintendo is not all that great

Re: Video: GameChap Shows Us Five Ways to Get Banned From Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

RegalSin

1) That is an fighting tatic used by many martial artists. See the film "Yellow" and "Rocky" along with "The StreetFighter:Sonny Chiba"
2) Again it is your connection and your time. This would never happen in warppipe or Kalleria. Quickly somebody program Kalleria client into an WiiU so we can enjoy Smsh Brothers without mobyless Nintendo banning us.
3) This is called "cheezing" or "The cheeze" in fighting games. Again anybody can do it and is allowed. Using the same move again will not remove an persons ability to win or lose.
4) Again this is optional. Another optional thing. If Nintendo wanted they could get rid of the feature. Seriously Nintendo needs to grow up.
5) I don't get this one. Making silly noises via the speaker mic???? That is just dumb. Same with profanity.

Re: Final Fantasy Wasn't Named For The Reason You Think

RegalSin

I really miss when "Final Fantasy" played out like an episode from "Xena" or
"Hercules" .

I miss FF8. Not because of it feeling going to school or anything but because it was JUST LIKE HOW SCHOOL WAS FOR ME BACK IN HIGHSCHOOL. FF8 for me was the first time I played an PSX FF game in my own household with FF7 in others peoples places. FF8 hold so many secrets and things but what I hate about it is how I am disappointed in the game itself.

Many people at that time also hated the game for not being like FF6. That is why FF9 have the theif character ( Locke ) as well as the other oblong, odd-ball characters. Same reason why FF12 on the PSX is basically another revamped FF6 using FF5 and FF1 tones.

Note FF12 the princess chest is sticking out at the player-san. I mean so enjoy playing that game watching her breasts stick out like sore-thumbs. They are kinda low in place but otherwise decent. It is kinda annoying to see but otherwise the best choice for her.

Then their is the rabbit girl, oh man with that tall big body.

Vann main friend ( who is always being over-taken by everybody else ) she is okay to look at. I like the early promo of her Pinkish colored hair.

Dammit I love the skin color of FF12. I think it was the best choice for them. No more pale people, or bleach colored skin people. Also the English Sounding accent also mixes in ( which makes the game more playable ).

I hate how FF10 characters all sound like stereotypes. It is far more playable in Japanese or with no sound on.

Re: Video: Retro Music is Hard-Wired Into Your Brain Because of Science, Not Just Because It's Awesome

RegalSin

That is called PCM/DPS/ and techno/electronic music. It was prolific during the punk/ Counter-culture/ Industrial-revolution ( europe )/ Civi-rights eras.

However during that time people in the west. Mostly the United States along with the commercial television promoted it as being music for "people who play for the other team" like "Birdo" or "The male Geisha from "GTAIV:Part II". Because of that many people wanted to see people play music on stage. They wanted to see bands. This is why the "Punk" and "Big haired bands" continued to rise about "Synth music".

The reason why people like myself LOVES HEARING THOSE MUSIC is because it reminds of the small joys.

Like when your with you hear "Girls like to have fun". or "Can you believe I can fly". Things like that is connected to other music.

PERSONALLY I HATE THE FACT THAT BIG TIME MUSIC IS ABUSING SYNTH TRACKS FROM PREVIOUS VIDEOGAMES. However because nobody can really "commit rights to these sounds" as these sounds are used in many works. People ( musicians etc ) continue to strip these sounds for personal usage.

Take this animation short on Youtube.

It uses those "Bubble sounds" and "Boing sounds" from "Sonic" games to make an musical background.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBlMhGiSgVM
The same for the music that uses "Windows 98" waves to compose a piece of music as well".
The abuse of music from this game below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9QJZSBpvg0

"Top Gear" racing music could be heard almost everywhere. I might use parts of it as well.

Because they could always say "it is synth music and however it was made it was made" they will always get away with that excuse.

The same excuse is used for the music of "ClockWork Orange". If you see "Synth Britanica".

So it is not really science at all. It is that you hear those familiar tunes, and realize the usage of them.

To make things even more funnier tons and tons of sound samples are all over the internet for free to use asides for the stuff from videogames and other sound effects. The same with imagery as well.

This is an problem because many people could also be manipulated into having this as sort of an joy.

.............................................................................................

As I have said to myself time and time again. Videogames as an medium is 98% music, 2% grapphics, 1% logic, 0% control.

98% music because sound is language and before we had speech we had sounds. The sound of your barefoot on the grass. Sound of your hair makes. The sound of rain, fire, wind, and water. The sound of an EarthQuake, avalanche, or snow-storm. The sound your gal pal makes when she is excited, scared, or happy. To the sound you make when your ready, upset, bored, or need to do something different.

Sound is language breaking barrier. What sound do you get when you knock the "under of an fist" into "your palm" of another hand???

2% graphics because without that key imagery you will not pick up that controller. That image could be an text file to even an little image moving up and down, With an revolving color background. 3d games have a bit more advantage because you can spin-around inside an 3d world.

1% logic - because nothing in an videogame world is logic or matters. While logic is important, is an guy jumping down sewer pipes, to being swallowed up by the shower drain, and leads him to an fungus world logic at all? Yes their is probably tons of pipe-fungus ( worms living in bundles ) in drain pipes.

0% control - because you have no control over nothing. The game is controlling you. You sit in one spot staring at colors, and to an sports person, or out going person who owns no television it looks stupid and foolish. Even being in an work ethic it holds no purpose.

Re: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Confirmed for Wii U

RegalSin

probably the closet thing to an real CastleVania. Which is funny. The way this looks like if they do not need our funding. I mean yes westerners throw money at an nation with an bunch of artists who do not need the outside support and could not stand to see you as an neighbor.

Re: Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is Dashing to Wii U and 3DS

RegalSin

What is wrong with this title is the wording of "2016" inside of it. It looks cute but when you pick up previous Olympic games you feel kind of put of from playing them.

They should just call them the "Videogame Olympics" and stop abusing the Mario and Sonic name.

Eggman can out run Sonic and Mario in the Olympics. I mean Sonic 2 yes but seriously.

Also that picture just sucks. A bunch of Koopas could take out those robots. Even Kuckles do not stand an chance against an army of "Boomers"

Re: Video: The Game Theorists Plot Out Mario's Timeline and Family Bloodline

RegalSin

Jumpman is not mimicking Popeye........and even so if it is. Jumpman is far superior then Popeye.

You make me think about Popeye saving the day for anime people in order to kill anime people.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYRPvz-LV-k

Back to this thing. Look Toadstool is the only Princess I recognize to have any authority in Super Mario series. Their are comics, cartoons, and animations to prove this.

Peach on the other hand barely have any supporting background or screen time. All she does is scream "Save me Mario" and get facial abuse, and harassed her entire life-time as princess. While I prefer an peachy pie over an Toadstool on my wall any day of the week she fits in perfectly.

What is even funny about Super Mario Brothers Two, the fact that it took place in Mario's head as an dream. More funnier because they nickname this game "MARIO USA" for an reason. Only in USA we would have such commercial garbage.

However that was the apex of the Super Mario series before we went back to saving the Peach and spending a night in her bubble bath.

I love the character Toadstool over Peach any day. She is awesome and uniquely an supportive person. Peach just does one thing and one thing only appears at the end of the game and gets "Kidnapped".

Mario:USA gave Toadstool the life she missed as being Peach.

I do agree on the discrimination Toadstool gets. Yes she looks the typical controversial looking "Amerian, American" woman. The same woman we see on every cover of VHS, or DVD media. Some European woman exposed to the harsh climates lacking proper treatment. Even so I still admire as an character over Peach.

Peach only real appearance is "Yoshi's Safari" and "Mario 64". That is it. I know they are different, and I know they are all the same at the same time.

I love Toadstool and treasure all the Mario:USA moments she gaved us. I will always remember that one time she broke out of Koopa jail by summoning an Power-Star, and then bombed her way out of prison while pulling Mario and Luigi to Safety as well. Even in the comics when she carried bombs as well.

Bombs seem to be the her primary attack power even before Mario RPG came about or the Nintendo RPGS made without Squaresoft.

Re: Video: The Game Theorists Plot Out Mario's Timeline and Family Bloodline

RegalSin

@Eisenbolan

Logically with the idea that Peach/Rosalina/Toadstool are all the same character but with an different name.

Who am I kidding even Daisy is Rosalina.

They train wreck this entire thing because "Toadstool" is the same girl from Donkey Kong. Note the Blonde girl in Pink Dress.

Who are we kidding Miyamoto. Especially since the cartoon she is also blonde.

Re: Final Fantasy Wasn't Named For The Reason You Think

RegalSin

I think this article is an lie as I have read an different story from another article. The "Final" project for Square before they decided to exit the Game world.

The original Final Fantasy for DAD fans was an great hit from my understanding.

I will admit Joemama it was hard for me to get into the original three games until I saw the "WonderSwan/Cell phone ports". The extra graphics makes the games shine like "Mario-Allstars".

I feel sorry for the NDS people seeing these games in 3d.

Speaking of jokes asides, if you watch "Burn-up-W" they have childish terrorists make demands retaining to an prodigy of "Dragon Quest" where they make an virtual or false commercial of DQ claiming this is their final game and thus we added "Final" to the title.

Re: Feature: The Full Story Behind Star Fox 2, Nintendo's Most Famous Cancellation

RegalSin

@DylanCuthbert
My imagination has to be "crazy" as you put it, otherwise I ( or anybody ) would not be able to be creative in general. I doubt you would be in Japan right now, if the setting was more like west. Could you imagine the lifestyle you would have if you was based somewhere in America or even in Germany.

Checkout more of my creativity at
http://www.geocities.ws/spork/Painting.html
asides for these wonderful posts into the void of the internet.

On to attempting to read the Nintendo article...

Miyamoto said "I was surprised that he could handle programming at that age"

In my opinion Miyamoto sounds pretty insulting. Because from my understanding ( and knowledge) we have 12 year old programmers and artists, and entrepreneurs all over the world during the early 1990's from the 1960's making all kinds of things. Living inside of houses that were
paid for by themselves with little or no assistance from family members.

Place anybody the amount of given power and abilities into the "hotseat" ( like an artist
who is creating the flagship comicbook of an publishing company ). In this case it
was you utilizing your "abilities" to make something that you have already proven
true with the Gameboy Game "X" and other works.

In fact the story of how "X" was created sounds more interesting then
"StarFox64 3d" ( which is obviously an revamp of SF64 ).

I did not really learn anything from the Nintendo site questionnaire because
in my opinion all you really mentioned was that...

1. you had "TIME" to study the language, cultural stuff, among other things.

2. you knew what an "Shauna" felt like compared to being outside in the sun.

3. You was 18 years old of age ( but again what about "X" on the Gameboy ).

The whole entire Q-games being established looked like you planned to stay in Japan for the rest of your life no matter the cost.

That looks like you was pretty ???lucky??? in terms of your "given" upbringing unless you could expand further on those details. Similar to an Lawyer gone theater or Medical Doctor
gone Film Director.

Again what I learned from that was that Miyamoto seemed amazed about work that people was
doing at twelve years old or even seven ( in terms of computer programming ).

About StarFox ( continuing reading the Nintendo interview....... ). Thank gosh the "A-wing" was invented, because otherwise seeing another
Vietnam F-16 would have been depressing. over the "A-wing". At least one thing of limitations
was great for this game.

The dog fighting monkey bit sounds more like an typical "Military-hound" fighting foolish
people AKA the Monkeys/Mantos. That looks an typical Japanese setup.

The same being said for all the typical creatures we found in StarFox. The Fortuna stage
had "Godzilla Monster", The Hardmode in SF had you battle the Starship enterprise before
entering Venom. On Venom easy mode we fought the Bunny-Robot ( Rabio-lepus/Jumping Flash).
The Asteroids had the giant pancake machine. But again it is okay because we wouldn't be
able to play SFII later on. The bottom line is that "At that point in time" religious,
racist, discriminated, and other kind of people in the west would probably have all kinds of
problems with seeing an Human Starfox. Also it would be so boring to see people which
would end up like "Splatoons" and the mutant furry children of NESTER/NESS.

I do not think the puppet-animation is the excuse for the characters animations. I feel
that was the limitations of the game system itself as the animation of the time was limited
so it would look more weirder if they talked like humans rather then Mupphets.

ABOUT THE STARFOX 2 mentioned in the Nintendo interview... IT IS AN TREMENDOUS EXcUSE TO
SAY the FX2 CHIP WAS DELAYED IN PRODUCTION because that other virtual game ( the other
space game that is choppy ) and Stunt Racer FX ( which was really great and really
pushed the hardware ) was running awesome.

We all know the truth is that Starfox itself was too sophisticated for most players and
most players "children" would most likely opt out of an SNES release of Starfox for
the N64. In fact during the end years of the SNES they had so many games being released with pre-rendered sprites including "Kirby 3", "Yoshi", "Mario RPG", "Frogger" and other games that was ignored completely.

Speaking of what got children into StarFox. In my area I think it was the Commercial as that is what made me want the game. Many of those Nintendo commercials got players wrapped up into the idea purchasing things they otherwise would never buy. Same with Pokemon.

I still believe that SF2 was too difficult for the younger audience to understand. Especially
people who had problems with 3d games as it was new to many players. Personally playing
"Mario 64" was an horrifying experience because everybody was alien towards the n64 and it's
3d power. So it was more like forcing yourself to enjoy something even if you did not
enjoy it all. The same for RPG's as well which only had an boom due to the mature nature
of FF7 and fan-dom/slave-crown/ nature of Super Mario ( nintendofandom ) at the time.

Starfox was stil to new to many people and would probably never outsell Mario. In fact
like "Resident Evil" I was still too horrified to play "StarFox" which justified the
usage of "StarFox64" which made it easier for many fans to adjust. In fact the same experience
with Starfox 64 ( FPS mode ) is probably how people felt about the original "SF" game on
the SNES.

The same thing is probably occurring with younger audience as well on the NDS/3DS.

Personally I think the voices ( which is what StarFox 2 lacked ) in dialog was something
that created the imaginative idea that you was playing with somebody. This attribute created
that imaginative world that "Star-Wars" had given to people.

"Dylan-san's work was at a stopping point, " What does that mean????

About the Subconscious of things moving to the side........???? Ever heard of "Horse-Blinders"?

Try putting on an horse blinder, one day maybe you would get the same effect? Another thing
trying to do ( but is harmful ) is "Whiting Out" because when I was "whiting out" one time
I saw a feild simular to "StarFox" in the hanging-robot stage ( remember that stage in
"Starfox" with the "mono-rail" robot????? )......imagine whiting out and seeing something
similar to "Space 2000"....remember that film???? and the "horizon". A similar affect is
when something is being animated or the illusion of it traveling or going somewhere in many
animations from Japan such as pokemon.

You know what would have been awesome??? If Starfox 64 3ds could have used the infrared sensor
on the Gameboy Color. Imagine that sensor communicating with the outside world. Like an extra
special 3d boss from an Tamigotchi toy.....but the 3ds/NDS does not have such sensors???

Also the Nintendo page where the article loads has no alternative viewing ability. I have
to let my "Virus guard down" in order for the page to load. Is their an better way.

Nice read and responding. For the things I posted earlier was in response to the article that
is on "Nintendo-life" page. More importantly what I got from that Article. Which was somebody jumping back and forth between consoles to make bread.

Again SF2 is probably far more greater achievement then SF:Command. I find the whole anti-Venom story of the Anglar race ( keep in mind that female Anglars are the ones
with the lamp, in most species ). I like in SF2 how Venom became an peaceful clean
environment far better then Corneria.

Also I dislike how they separated Andrew from his Pre-Star Fox two counter part. I mean it is obvious that Andross is still alive out their. However that is story wise I am talking
about, which is kind of sad at the same time for the original fans which many have passed away due to 2001. People probably feel like oh boy more andross fun while others are like
"oh why can't we just leave him alone and move on".

Also I like the idea that Andross is an scientist who was banished. It reminds me of how
Snowden seek asylum in Russia and China. Yet the president will not pardon him or refute the anti-privacy of the patriot act which is sad.

@SuperVirtualBoy Their is no limitations of the SNES. They could have used four FX2 microchips or even installed an add-on for the SNES to get an boost of power.

Even the NES could have ran Starfox but it would have been more expensive due to the lack of an proper sound-chip.

The only limitation is lack of funding measures to make thing realistic. It feels like death when you do something for nothing. With videogames they could have abandon TVtoys all together and just pushed computers on to people.

Oh wait, some phones are even more powerful then most TvToys today. How sad.

@Klimbatize Is that "Kevin Smith" AKA "Silent Bob" in your sig. Did you know that KSimth denounced the internet ( from my understanding ) and denounce the streets. I had so much respect for him ( still do for "Clerks" sake) but that is sad??? He was such an creative person. Of course I am, of course I am........

@PigmaskFan I understand your display of Starfox 64 love. I will defend Starfox 64 game engine because it gave birth to Zelda OOT game engine. OOT was fantastic barely using the powers of the N64. That is why SF64 looks so "outdated" because

But honestly the same ( or even more annoying blurred graphics exsist in "Perfect Dark" and many of Rarewares later games; including "Sin and Punishment".

However the N64 ( unlike the PSX ) was pushing hard to have PC/Nvida type graphical tricks that were only later appreciated.

By "Later" I mean to say many of these effects was not perfected or meant for the low-polygon count of the N64. Could only be appreciated with an extremely high polygon count. Take "The last Mage" on the N64. It was an terrible pugly looking game attempting to make an extremely high graphical mess of an RPG. THQ usage of the "Quest 64" engine. But if we took that game and warped it to the graphic powers of the PS4 and gave it an FFIIX make-over it would probably be an best seller.

@ReigningSemtex
The thing about PC gaming it is equal to the adult section at an VIDEO store. Consoles ( TVtoys ) are strickly meant for children and when somebody wants to bring that gameplay to an medium and make the BIG-BUCKS AKA Family dollars.

Most of those players do not even know what the Korean war was about like most players today do not know the devastating effects of the false-flag attacks of the "Twin Towers". People do not remember or even know anything. CHILDREN INNOCENT CHILDREN CONSUMERS who get everything from mommy and daddy. Including being shielded from the going-ons of the world.

The PC gaming community of today is basically the same X-box-live Arcade/Steam community/Kalleria/Flash/WarpPipe/Unity community.

A similar community could also be seen as the cell phone ( Java ) community of early macarnome cell phone games ( back when PSX and Dreamcast had their mini Tamigotchi consoles ). However that community is the failed community of yester-years.

@Kirk Your right the SNES looks better but to have an greater comparison we should look at "Virtual Racer" for the Genesis. It was expensive and was just an crummy racing game. Where StarFox had us inside the fantasy world of shooters; while being non-discriminative by using manimals.

About fugliness of the N64. Your are right but in comparison with the PSX versions of N64 games vice versa the n64 would also win in most cases. I can not believe the insanity of seeing pixelated polygons on the PSX.

If Nintendo had not released any StarFox game for the N64, chances are the series would have been forgotten about. That is why they have to release things in order to keep it fresh and alive in the minds of the players. The same reason why Mario:Lost Levels is really an revamped SMBros with slightly more creative graphics.

To make things more funnier these clones even have the original SMBros with the revamped graphics ( which is amazing ). So it shows that Nintendo ( etc dever ) is willing to try one kinda of look for another kind of look and see how things works out.

The same reason why Mario-All-Stars was released to take advantage of people who lack or own or have the ability, or knowledge to purchase an original game.

I mean back then those graphics on the N64 was jaw dropping to most of us viewers. Again most of the consumers was children who only exposer to computer games was the Nintendo-special video-tapes that dissed SONY/SEGA and made an BIIIGGG deal about speech and sound in N64 games.

Re: Video: The Game Theorists Plot Out Mario's Timeline and Family Bloodline

RegalSin

No really this whole thing with Game Theory people are dumb. Yoshi Island DS/NEW/and blah blah are all lies. They are just remakes of Yoshi's Island.
This is just ignorant stuff to waste peoples time.

No this is stupid
Jumpman is Mario when he was Evil. They turn tables around. This was common back then with many series like "Time-Bokan" or "Wacky Races" where people would root for the antagonistic forces.

The whole idea of Peach and Bowser being lovers is not really an bad idea at all. I mean why not get kidnapped for nothing.

Personally in my eyes we have three Princess. Toadstool ( the original one ), Peach ( the more feminine version of Toadstool ), Daisy ( the desert version of Toadstool ).

I mean Mario was okay until they made the Star Princess ( Whatever her name is ). That is just silly enough along with Ghost Mario and Ghost Bowser.

Back to Mario.

Look Mario is Jumpman, when he was chasing DK around the globe, in Brookyln, back in DK Big-ape-city.

IN MARIO WORLD TIME MOVES SLOW just as with "Lupin the 3rd". If you are an watcher of Lupin you will realize this is an man from the 1960's running around in the year 20XX and non of his partners or the police have changed at all. Everything is updated in Lupin but the main characters ( asides for what they are known for ).

For Mario it is the same thing. Mario real ending was Super Mario Brothers 3. Then we had Mario vacation ( world ) and Mario RPG.

THAT WAS IT. Every other Mario game is garbage, Starting with Yoshi's Island which in fact is really an FAIRY TALE from an STORY BOOK. They even let you know by the way the story was being told.

Personally Mario Missing 2 ( the flash game ) is the only real Mario I consider real, asides for the other Mario game when Kamek kidnapps the wrong Nintendo Princesses and Bowser have a mental breakdown; and just decides to go to his clown car ( ha ha ha ha ) to ubduct the Princess.

Nintendo has not made an real Mario game since the RPG/Yoshi Island ( which is really Mario World/Mario 3 ). Everything after that is just us with our little hearts hoping for something amazing to happen which is nothing at all.

Where is Mario 64 2??? That never happen at all.

Okay I finished Watched it. This whole thing is just silly. I like the Earthbound one better about the fetus. This is silly. Pauline is just Mario's 5 cent girlfriend from the original DK games. This is stupid. Timeline is this.

DK games
Mario NES
Mario Vacation

That is the official time-line. Everything else is pointless.

Re: Donkey Kong: Original Edition

RegalSin

I own the NES game. I really do not want to get rid of it but I want to get rid of it. The game is fun and all but I really wish it was like DK:GB.

DK:GB is pure auwsome all over, even compared to Mario vs DK ( which is okay ) but no DKGB.

Re: Donkey Kong 64

It was the worst $60 dollars I did not get for Christmas. Just this horrible game. If they cut out all the clown-goofy extras and reinstall the normal cast this game might have been worth something. But Rareware on purposely destroyed it and made "Banjo-Kazooie".

Re: Assault Android Cactus

It looks like they stripped down parts of Metroid and Mischievous Makers and stuffed it into an typical animal/mecha esque game.

Looking further into this game, more or less "Gun-Spike/Cannon-Spike"
clone ( which we need more of ). Even to say it reminds me a bit of Megaman Zero during the timed fight scenes along with "Sonic Adventure" when you are inside Robotnik's hide-out.

I understand what you mean but STV have the news as well as the contenders. If anything STV is like "Running Man" the film, only more targets.

Back to Gun-Spike. The thing about SEGA is that they used and started to reuse themes from other games, to even including an merging of themes. With Capcom + SEGA utilizing the typical commercial ficitonal material that is associated with their games. Another reason why GunSpike was playable was because it utilized characters like "Authur" from "Ghouls and Ghosts/Goblins/etc", along with Megaman ( which is just amazing ) including Cammy-White ( being an hero for the first time but still on Shadow-lu side ), and fallen Balrog ( Which takes directly from the Street Fighter II: The movie ( ZOMGSH Street FIghter II )) along with "Street Fighter:Vega".

This game is another GunSpike in the making. However I am glad for the cartoonish graphics and animations. However I wish it was more arcade and not console like. By that CannonSpike does non-stop what this does.

Even so the game looks okay. I wonder how it would look in 2d as well.

Re: Super Metroid Was Planned As An Extra In Metroid Prime Before Nintendo Had It Removed

third-party emulator as they mention. Probably talking about the work done with the PSO DOL loop-hole/hack.

This is one reason to own PSO for the GCN because you can run DOL files ( GCN rom files ) from an PC/server via the Ethernet cable. However the same hack has also been exploited in an Memory card device where you can load DOL programs including SNES emulators and other emulators to an actual Gamecube.

I remember this stuff. I attempt to do it via the PSO disc but my PC settings was not right.

Again this same hack is what allows "Warpipe" to be used and thus play "Mario Double Dash" over the internet with people by opening an server.

If you can setup an PC correctly it could work out. Probably need an Win98/XP machine to do it correctly, but others if programmed should work.

JUST TO LET EVERYBODY KNOW. Devers in Japan ported various NES games to the GBA using NES/SMS to GBA emulators. Only replacing the list system with an GUI instead.
