First Zelda game I ever played was Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. I was playing it at my friend's house on the NES and didn't think much of it. Years later when I had my own N64 i tried Ocarina of Time and absolutely loved it. Then I followed up with Majora's Mask and have been buying pretty much all the Zelda games ever since.
I first heard of Metroid from the 90's cartoon where several video game characters banded together to fight Mother Brain. The first time I played a Metroid game was on the SNES with Super Medtroid. Loved the series ever since and played all the games.
Would rather see more info and footage from BotW2 and Metroid Prime 4. Or even a new F-Zero game. Or Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD coming out on Switch.

What they actually mean is, nobody is making those raggedy old parts anymore because chip makers have moved onto better tech. Hell, even Nintendo themselves have already started putting HDMI 2.0 sockets on their Switch OLED Docks because nobody was making HDMI 1.4 anymore
I'm all for paid DLC for extra story chapters, maps, cosmetic skins etc. But having to roll dice for those items and may or may not get the one im trying to pay for is a huge no no. Let us buy each skin or DLC outright. No random chance BS. Gambling should have absolutely no place in the purchasing of DLC/cosmetics.
Coming from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, I was hoping Wind Waker would have even better more realistic graphics. So I was really pissed when they released a new Zelda game with cell-shaded graphics. But honestly, after playing it and seeing toon Link's expressions, I came to find the art style as quite endearing. Would I have preferred a more realistic look? Sure. But Wind Waker worked out alright and I still love revisiting it to this day. Then Twilight Princess followed after it and I fell in love with the Zelda franchise all over again. Midna is easily the best companion so far
All they need to do to differentiate the current Switch with the next one is call it Switch 2. This is a clear indication that its a successor, unlike Wii U which just sounded like a weird Wii variant
Bring out a Super Switch that can do 4K @ 60fps along with a Zelda Anthology full of 4K remasters and watch them sell 214 million units in the first year.

Metroid Other M was a failure because it was the only Metroid game which portrayed Samus as subservient when in all other previous Metroid games, she was brave and independant. Fortunately Metroid Dread has restored her character's strength and charisma

I honestly wouldn’t mind if they ditched the larger directs as long as they made more frequent shorter directs.

Nintendo can shove that Direct-ly into the bin.
