Kyoto-based indie game festival BitSummit is celebrating its 10th birthday this year, and in advance of the event taking place on the first weekend of August (6th-7th), they've been announcing some of the acts and appearances that attendees will be able to witness.
One of these acts is composer Yuzo Koshiro (Sol Cresta, Etrian Odyssey, Streets of Rage), who will be performing alongside Professor Sakamoto (Alwa's Awakening, Shantae and the Seven Sirens). The two will perform together for a "unique world premiere collaboration in honor of BitSummit’s tenth anniversary."
BitSummit's X-Roads stage will also feature James Portnow, one of the co-founders of educational game dev YouTube channel, Extra Credits.
If you want to catch any of these performances or appearances, you can watch BitSummit live on Saturday, August 6th and Sunday, August 7th, between 10am and 5pm JT (9pm-4am ET, 3am-10am CET) on any of the following platforms:

I love the Streets of Rage music, so much nostalgia
Guys Sonic Origins, the digital deluxe version for Nintendo Switch is now only $36. It seems that perhaps the collection didn't sell well so Sega dropped $9 off.

@Serpenterror Just adding onto that, it's a 20% Discount for Digital Deluxe and the sale has been active since July 22nd, and will end on August 8th.
Back to the news at hand, anyone got a spare plane ticket for Kyoto laying around?
Please do Ys music, please oh please!
@Serpenterror You sure about that?
Last I checked, it was doing the rounds of best selling games digital/physical overall on the Eshop.
If anything, I'd be more excited if the creators of Sonic Mania went in to patch Origins because I've heard nothing but issues with some of the game's mechanics as well as quality in some area's. Since this is a remaster of sorts, there needs a lot of fixing too be done in order to match the quality of the original games.
