PowerA is still releasing themed Nintendo Switch controllers on a regular basis, and the latest one for the US features Link from The Legend of Zelda series. It appears this same themed controller has previously been released across Europe.
This design is another 'Enhanced Wireless Controller' titled 'Link Watercolor'. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 tech, rechargeable batteries that last for up to 30 hours, mappable buttons, anti-friction rings for a smooth thumbstick controller, a USB-c charge cable, and a two-year limited warranty. As usual, it does not support HD rumble, IR or amiibo NFC.
It's priced at $54.99 and will be released on 5th August 2022. Here's a closer look:

Looks alright but I already have an Eevee and Pikachu themed Controller along with a Gold one and 2 Retro Controllers too.
What a weirdly nondescript iteration of Link. Somewhere between a Twilight Princess and a Skyward Sword I guess? Not unlike Smash 4 Link…or isn’t this also a Switch profile icon🤔
@LimitedPower Nintendo started using this Link render in I want to say 2015. I remember it sparked a lot of rumors about a Twilight Princess remake, although all we ended up getting was a slight remaster on Wii U that used the same character models. Nintendo uses this Link design a lot for marketing purposes. You can find it on their website, I've seen it on Wal-Mart displays, and the Nintendo World Store features it quite prominently. I think it's also on officially-licensed shirts and other merchandise. It's basically become Nintendo's generic/default depiction of Link when they aren't trying to reference a specific game like Wind Waker or Breath of the Wild. I like it.
I like my controllers black or at least dark since white never stays white even if you're really careful.
Omg just give it rumble and gyro and I’d maybe actually buy one.
Huh, I bought this at gamestop in europe over a year ago. This isn't new?
Read the title and thought "what's this one missing?"
With the lack of various features compared to the official Pro controllers, the price seems way too high. You could get a Dualsense with just a bit more money.
@Not_Soos Thanks for the clarification. He sure is a looker!
What annoys me about the PowerA controllers is that they're semi official and licensed by Nintendo, yet you can't change the button configuration on the Switch like you can with the Pro Controller. Very annoying for N64 as I like these controllers and how they're lighter than the Pro and have a headphone jack on the wired versions. I don't care about rumble, I find it off putting.
@LimitedPower
It's most definitely a highly modified version of Twilight Princess Link, who also appeared in Brawl and Smash 4.
personally i find these print controllers to look at the very least highly tacky, but if it works for someone then all the power to them.
I feel bad for anyone who buys these instead of simply waiting for a good sale or paying $69.99 for the official Pro Controller.
@aetios have you tried to use the controllers? (Honest question. Not trying to sound mean) I am using a Metroid one and it works great. I agree that some of them do look tacky but they work really well and I haven't had any problems.
@PtM
It mimicks the OoT artwork, but the design of Link is derived from TP, including the clothes and eyes.
Looks like Twilight Princess Link. I wonder if somebody has tipped off the manufacturer about a Twilight Princess HD release for Switch
Wind Waker HD confirmed!! 😏
These controllers are so bad they shouldn't be bought by anyone.
Let's be honest, 55 for a 3rd party controller with limited functionality?
I'm ok with these Power A controllers. But they seem so cheap and I bet they won't last that long. Have read a lot of negative reviews on Amazon, that they brake fast.
