Year 10 of hoping Nintendo is making a new Wario Land game

So did Nintendo start offering free repairs before or after the class action lawsuit started? Or is this a different one?

Been taking my time playing Pizza Tower still. Currently at the final set of levels in that game.

Was hoping for Edwin Diaz to be on the cover

I was never that good at Diddy Kong Racing due to it's excessively high learning/difficulty curve but I'd wish for people who for some reason still don't emulate in 2023 to experience that game. Also I guess Conker's Bad Fur Day is that other title I'd like to see since it's a game I do enjoy sitting down and playing for it's gameplay.

@Shambo Man it's stupid when things get delayed due to unrelated current events. I remember season 4 of Total Drama was delayed by almost a year because of that... tsunami that happened in Japan during 2011???

Well a new Nintendogs being on mobile would make sense. I can never imagine a new game ever being made on Switch or whatever Nintendo console that would come next.

I understand many people would be playing these games for the first time but I know spoilers for Persona 4 especially are very easy to run into to the point where it feels like a bit of a non-spoiler nowadays

Pizza Tower and AntonBlast are coming to fill that Wario Land hole but it would be nice to see Nintendo make a new Wario Land game. It's the one thing I've constantly put on my wishlist before every Nintendo Direct and E3 for the last 10 years.

@Heavyarms55 You are correct on this and it's a bit annoying how so many haven't saw through how shady it all is. But at least some content creators on Youtube are beginning to point this out lately. Karl Jobst made a detailed video going over the topic the other day that is a nice watch.

@Jmjfrank If you're curious what the glitch is it's called the "Gelato Beach Skip" which involves clipping into an area to collect the episode 8 shine. The episode select will have 1-7 available upon completing the glitch and you simply select episode 7 to get the required shine from Gelato Beach.

@Jmjfrank You unfortunately can only skip episode 1 in Bianco Hills and go straight towards the top of the windmill to fight Petey for the episode 2 shine. The only other skip in the game is a difficult to learn glitch in Gelato Beach that allows you to skip episodes 1-6 which includes the infamous sand bird level.

@Jmjfrank Just giving you a heads up incase you don't know, the bare minimum is clearing the episode 7 shine in each area which isn't that bad of a task compared to getting 100%.

It may not be my favorite 3D Mario game but I absolutely love how Mario controls. Though one thing that always bugged me since when I was a kid was how obtuse it was to unlock Corona Mountain. There's like no hint at all on the requirements and when you do find out you realize how all of the side shine sprites that aren't the first 7 missions in each level are completely worthless.

The issue with 3D Sonic is Sonic Team has always been them being too afraid to stick to a formula and try to refine it. I've given Sonic Heroes a try a few weeks back for the first time and I enjoyed it a fair bit. It has plenty of flaws but it's something that could've been improved if they tried to do more with it in one more game. Sadly they stripped away the team mechanic and decided to run with the mission structure in the game Shadow The Hedgehog only to abandon that and horribly botch the adventure style in Sonic 06 a year later...

I assume this means they wanna finish the game first and then work on downgrading the graphics for the game to run well on Switch. It's fine I was going to buy it on PS4 anyways.

@carlos82 I believe Miyamoto gave similar advice to Alphadream when they were developing Dream Team and that game ended up fine in terms of characters, plot (albeit it was weaker compared to previous entries) and world building. So it's not like Miyamoto had the final say it's just that Tanabe took his advice the wrong way.

@ReaperExTenebris To be fair, Arle is a magic user in universe so they could make a moveset based around that. It wouldn't be the most out of nowhere moveset compared to some other characters in Smash.

I know Puyo Puyo is popular in Japan but those 56 people are cool for picking Arle.

I was already planning on buying the physical copy eventually. But dang even if the original release of the PS4 and Xbox One versions were builds of a release that is earlier than the launch build of the PC version, I doubt the file size of the Switch version which is clearly a way newer build should be this big.

I always despised how much disregard these studios had with making these cartoon adaptations of video games. Like there doesn't seem to be any good excuse as to why they couldn't at least designed the characters what they're suppose to look like. There's taking creative liberties but then there's whatever DIC Entertainment did. But I suppose being accurate wouldn't prevent it from being another poor quality cartoon from that time period.

Boy I have a story relating to this from like 6 years ago:
When I was 15 and my parents took away my 3DS and Wii U. I enjoyed hangning around on Miiverse so much that I couldn't bare to not be on it. The reason they took it away was over some delayed punishment over my grades even though they took it away from me because I fought with my brother and pushed the reason onto my grades. Now before you say I was in the right or wrong... I managed to take back my stuff and they caught me twice and the second time where I refused to give them my 3DS games they threatened to disown me and my racist parents said they'd put me in foster care with "blacks" over 3DS games and I'll never see anyone I know ever again. Before you say they were just scaring me, they forced me to get dressed and drive me to who knows where. Even if they weren't serious, that's still a messed up thing to do to your own child. Sure I doubt this girls' mother is as bad as fine but my point was to anyone saying the kid circumventing the punishment is the only one in the wrong here.
