Paper Mario 1 getting a remake would be tricky. Two ways they can do it which would either be recapture the artstyle of the first game 1:1 or making it in the style of TTYD's remake

When I play Mario Party, I like the actual BOARD GAME part the series has been known for since day 1. The Jamboree TV addition feels like a waste of time side mode.

I'm still annoyed that Mario Party Superstars never had any content updates since that game would've been perfect for DLC but they only had the 5 boards and that's it.

@FlyingDunsparce I believe 7 Chapters. The current playtime rn with the current 4 chapters is at least 20+ hours so that's a substantial amount of game to be played

They couldn't of had the patch match the team's colors? There are a few sponsor patches for other teams that do just that but I guess Nintendo is one of those sponsors that are too good for that

@NatiaAdamo They also cited it as being "boring" which is very subjective for a puzzle game like that. I still can't wrap my head around their scope of Mario games being so small when Mario Party Advanced and Mario Pinball Land would've been easy inclusions on that list.

Mario's Picross, the game Screwattack put as #5 in their top 10 worst Mario games. Personally I don't get it since it's a perfectly fine puzzle game.

Also Donkey Kong 94 is easily the best Game Boy game and I'm surprised it wasn't on the service sooner.

Virtual Boy Wario Land being below Wario World is an interesting opinion. Also a funny choice to use the beta screenshots for Wario World

Well this game is easily the best main series Kirby title but it would feel weird to port this only and not Triple Deluxe along with it.

I don't mind shelling out money for the Shantae LRG releases but what the heck is this? It was downright sad how SEGA squandered this series' second chance at life outside of Japan but now to add insult to injury they push this overpriced collection for a cheap 6 year old title. How many fans of this series that initially wanted a physical copy are even still interested after all this time?

Even if I had the money to burn on this and didn't care what my family would think, I do not have the space for it

If I won the lottery, there are other collectibles I'd burn a hypothetical fortune on than this

@Matchers You say that but Yooka-Laylee happened and that was a very divisive game.

And Nuts and Bolts was a game the original Banjo team WANTED to make and were very enthusiastic about it. The cynical dialogue during the intro talking about how "nobody wants to play collectathons anymore" was not a jab at Microsoft, they themselves legit thought there wasn't a demographic for it among Xbox players.

Personally I feel it's worth giving new devs who were fans of the original games back then a chance at making a true sequel

Personally the word I'd use to describe this dialog would be "obscure" rather than "rare"

I remember I fought every enemy encounter I came across and it wasn't enough to achieve that last rank-up. One good thing the 3DS remake did was have Rainbow Rank actually be achievable.

Look I understand maybe N64 and later but what's getting in the way of dropping the music from every first party NES, SNES, GB, GBC and maybe GBA game right away? Them drip feeding these soundtracks is pretty ridiculous.

Lol the implication that this game is worse than Paper Jam to IGN. Trust me guys, I played Brothership through a leaked copy and this game is easily better than Partner's in Time, Dream Team and especially Paper Jam

Mario Party DS and Mario Party 4 being as low as they are is downright detestable when they're easily better than 5, 7 and especially the 1st title

@vicviper001 Agreed. They actually fixed the final boss which is something Ubisoft doesn't know how to do which is have a satisfying conclusion to a Rayman game

@boxyguy Personally as controversial as this sounds, I just want a reboot to the franchise at this point due to the direction the games went. Takumi and Yamazaki are both done with the franchise so I say just get a new young team that know the IP well and start fresh.

@NFrealinkling Honestly I recommend Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze if you never played a DKC game before. That game is easily the best 2D platformer from the previous console generation.

This game isn't even nearly as good as Tropical Freeze to justify this price. It was neat when this game first came out back in 2010 but looking back it had some pretty irritating trial and error gameplay that was made worse by both it's life system and that annoying pig that shows up if you die too much in a level.

As long as the game is fun and has great pacing like Bowser's Inside Story, I'm good with whoever it is.
