Who cares?! EA can suck an old sock for all I care. I'm too busy buying the gazillion other great games releasing on the Switch. Besides... Star Wars is an all worn out franchise unable to surprise or impress anyone anymore.

How about banning the royal family? If something is irresponsible it's the royal family... think about the enormous amounts of taxpayer hard earned money going to entertain their every need. The royal family is dangerous too... just look at a certain Prince Philip and his driving talent or lack thereof.

Well... I bought both Skyrim and Wolfenstein on Switch and they both run excellently and look beautiful. This year will be very expensive as I'm going to purchase Blazblue Central Fiction, Mortal Kombat 11, Sniper Elite V2 and III, Wolfenstein Young blood and lots more. Talking about MK11... well, as long as they do a port as cool as they did with Injustice on WiiU, I'm all in!!!

Seriously... it's never been so good to be a Nintendo gamer.

Well, I'm the "older" audience you're talking about (50), but I play video games almost every day... Skyrim, Diablo, Fortnite, Arena of Valour, Splatoon etc. and I also think Hollywood sucks donkey balls when it comes to video game inspired movies. The only 2 movies i think were really great were Silent Hill 1 and 2... and then as a "I don't know what to watch right now" - movie would be the RE-series with good ol' Milla... B-movies definitely, but enjoyable on a lazy Sunday afternoon buried in the living room sofa.

I tried RE7 on my Switch in Japan, but even there it didn't run perfectly. While the animation was ok, the sound sync was off all the time. Try imagining a fast first person shooter getting the cloud treatment... no thanks... even in Japan.

It is a horrible crime for sure, but I cant't help thinking why she only mentioned the perpetrator was a European football player instead of just saying the truth... and then wait 10 years to make allegations... even after she accepted money. While #metoo has been a good thing to get justice, some women have misused the campaign for their own financial benefit or even worse... the women themselves have been perpetrators.

Blazblue also launches this year... in May as far as I remember.

This game is 4 years old and the developers kept promising a WiiU-version. When they finally didn't deliver, they blamed the power of the WiiU. Quite funny as there are plenty of mych more graphically heavy titles available for the WiiU.

@Pazuzu666 Ooooh, the memories... I had a ZX Spectrum 16K which I upgraded to 48K for around 80£ back in the day. It was a wonderful machine with great games.

I am sooooooooooo hyped... and I don't even have a Switch yet. November can't come soon enough.

I would buy it immediately, just because they went back to the WW2 roots. I simply hate all the space/sci-fi COD, therefore I didn't get any of those.

There are so many WW2-scenarios that haven't been addressed yet and furthermore, why is it we never got any COD Korean War?

You are talking about the whole MS business... their console division has been very close to shutdown, as it didn't/doesn't make enough money, so yes, Nintendo are swimming in money more than the other two.

@ThomasBW84 I do hope that they didn't cancel August 7 and 8... my friend and I have day passes for August 7,8 and 9. You stated that the public will start pouring in on the 9th.

I have this funny feeling that the NX will be an add-on to the WiiU. This would also make perfect sense when one looks at the rumored ridiculously low price of 149$. Furthermore I remember a flowchart that showed the 3DS, WiiU, QoL and NX as all working together and the NX was described as the fourth leg.

Anyway... it will be interesting to see what it really is, but we will have to wait until next E3 and maybe a release sometime in 2017.

Awesome... but why was I told by a Nintendo representative at Gamescom that both games were to be found on the same disc????

I've just been to the Gamescom convention in Cologne and what a ride. 3 titles in particular raised my attention, all of them indie... 1. Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2. Inside my Radio and 3. Go to Bed (I think it was go). From the poster we can look forward to Guns, Gore and Cannoli on the WiiU, but the other two I don't know... at least the people behind Inside my Radio are in negotiations with Ninty or so the developer told me. All 3 games were really great and super innovative... something certain other developers could learn a lot from... YES, I'm looking at all of you... EA, Ubisoft, Activision etc.

@kereke12 Apple jealous of Samsung... haha. This whole Apple/Samsung court thing was all planned from the very beginning. Look at all the media coverage both companies got. I'll bet you a raw fish restaurant trip to Pohang in Korea that Apple and Samsung are sitting/sat together having delicious dinners while smiling wide at all the cash flowing in and other companies struggling to gain attention.

Peter Is a burned out grumpy old guy, who's jealous of people in the gaming industry, in this case Nintendo, who have innovative ideas that make for new and exciting ways to enjoy gaming.
But why listen to all this doom and gloom... the WiiU is great, I have a bunch of games for it that I didn't even finish yet, and so many more are coming... cheer up Mr. Molyneux and start looking for a carreer change... please!!!

@unrandomsam Hmmm... truth is that MS is in for a shake up, when Balmer monkey steps out the backdoor and a new CEO steps in. Fact is that the Xbox division has been hemorrhaging money since its inception, so the first thing a new CEO will do is to cut off the sick and dead limbs of the ailing tree... goodbye Xbox. MS is going to focus on what they do best, namely Windows and business applications... stuff they actually make money on.

When it comes to SONY, well, they are in even deeper poo. They are selling off assets and buildings just to keep financially afloat, and just because they sell a few millions of the PS4 to begin with doesn't mean that it covers their PS4 R&D expenses, not by far. As much as I like the PS4, it will have to do phenomenally well to save SONY from ruin.

Then we have Nintendo. They are a company that actually is ONLY about gaming and also the ONLY company that is currently swimming in money. But that doesn't mean they can just sit back and get foot massages, as it seems they've been doing for the first 6 months of 2013. After the first 6 months they finally got around to doing something constructively with the WiiU, and it was about time they did. Now, noone can expect a co sole to sell 20 million units within a timeframe of 6 months, but slowly the WiiU will gather more and more momentum, just wait and see. Nintendo have just now begun to do stuff the right way... admittedly VERY late, but at least they are finally at it. Now they need to focus on getting the message out there, and I mean the right message that people understand, and then they have to STOP relying on word of mouth, which is probably the most stupid thing you can do in the console business, well in any business. ADVERTISE the hell out of all available media all the way down to printing adverts on toilet paper in public toilets... I mean EVERYWHERE!!! Then start getting some games onto the system. Admittedly there are a bunch of very cool games coming, but we need more like Bayonetta 2... we need Nintendo to invest HEAVILY in 3rd party games and when the opportunity presents itself, they have to make certain 3rd party publishers 2nd party.

But now let's see what happens. Nintendo is not doomed, the WiiU will do nicely in the long run, and we will have a lot of very memorable games for it in the coming months and years. Nintendo, as always, will pull something amazing out of the sleeve and will, again as always, show the industry what makes a REAL gaming company.

Sorry, but why are US sales of possibly 220.000 Wii Us a bad thing? Especially considering the fact that 2 new consoles just launched. Then there is the fact that November should actually see lower numbers as people usually wait until December to make their X-mas purchases.
Why is it that we can't just enjoy our Wii U without the constant doom-BS?! When the PS4 and Xbone start sliding downhill, I guess noone will notice, but they will slide, and they will slide fast. People are not swimming in money these days, and that's exactly why parents will not buy a 600$-700$ console (if you have to get one game, extra controller and online) for x-mas with no games other than the usual FPS-crap with only marginally better graphics.

ENJOY YOUR WII U THIS X-MAS AND STOP ALL THIS DOOM-TALK. MERRY X-MAS TO ALL OUT THERE!!!

Seriously... VGX is probably the worst pile of garbage I've ever seen in my life. What the hell happened to those presenters at birth? Someone must have dropped them on the floor. And what about that embarassingly bad feature with 2 screaming idiots... supposed to be fun??? Well, now I understand why Nintendo take very much care, when they choose events to attend. But it seems they didn't see this rubbish coming. As for the different games being shown, I have one keyword: Uninspired. Thank God Nintendo came around with some quality that made VGX shine, even if it was just for a few moments before sinking into the sea of mediocrity again.
