Wow, critics have no idea. I went to see the movie with my wife and 17 year old daughter. It was THE BEST animation movie ever. I can't remember the last time I laughed that much and also shed a tear of nostalgia here and there... the story was great, the animation fantastic, voice actors out of this world cool... it's a 120 out of 100 movie... up there with Ghibli Studios... and then when you see the egg and hear Yoshi at the very end of the credits... EPIC... Mario Movie 2 coming.
Everything apart from the cloud versions of RE was great. I tried the demo of RE: Village... unplayable... and we have very fast internet here. One moment there was full speed on the cloud and the next is was dead... cloud gaming sucks.
Well, I think it's a good thing for France, more of that, please. You don't want your language to end up like Danish, where every second word is the F-word and the rest is just a mix of Danish and English... many times even grammatically incorrect.
I sincerely don't know what people are talking about. I got The Ezio Collection on release and until now it's been a blast. Looks absolutely beautiful, runs smoothly and sound is great. Yes, it's old, but I think it's just as great as AC3 and ACBF on Switch which are also awesome.
@Joeynator3000 Glitches in Black Flag... where? I've played the game through 2 times now and it's still one of the best games I've ever played and I didn't experience neither glitches nor crashes.
7/10?????? I give it 9/10... this game rocks and runs smoothly. OK, it looks a little dated, but it's really nothing to talk about. I'm very much entertained by this title... and then the extra content... it's a winner.
YES, FINALLY... I played II years ago and it crashed just before the final scene. The game is SO good, so of course I'm going to get it again. No problem with the digital download... I'll just get rid of some of the unused stuff... and for 39.99 it's a steal... 3 games + DLC + movies... I"m in day 1.
Akihabara is so much fun. Been there a few times and the arcades are great... fantastic to see SEGA is opening a new arcade... will definitely go there once this corona thing is over.
I got the special edition for WiiU and it was/is fantastic... including the artbook. The game is firmly placed among the best horror games, I've ever played and I've played a few over the past 25 years.
I prefer to play my PC-games on a PC connected to my TV. I have my Switch for everything else, I like to play. The Steam Deck doesn't wow me one tiny bit, sorry.
I remember playing RE7-cloud in Japan and it was by no means a pleasure. Stuttering graphics and out of sync sound... also tried Hitman, which was not very good either. And then the fact that I have to pay full price for something I don't own... cloud, no thanks.
What am I doing wrong? I downloaded the free app, but when I try to launch, it tells me I don't have the software necessary to run. I wanted to try the free games and see if I will pay for the rest.
@nessisonett I agree with you on several points, but if my 11 year old Mac can run Total War Shogun 2 and DLC smoothly at high res, then the Switch can as well. You could argue that the gameplay would suffer without a mouse and keyboard and I agree, but if people like Panic Button got their hands on a title like Total War Shogun 2, then we would see magic happening.
Wow, and I thought Wolfenstein The New Colossus was an amazing game that ran almost perfectly and then Panic Button pulls out this one... this has no longer anything to do with coding, this is pure magic... LONG LIVE PANIC BUTTON!!!
YES... slam a few billion dollars of fines on EA effectively shutting down their factory of greed. Then maybe Konami would smell the morning coffee and get the necessary permits to make a great and full featured PES 22 for all consoles and PC.. no more of EA's ***** Legacy garbage.
@ComposedJam You go on and on... do you have a Duracell battery pack installed in your back?
Now let me make a little checklist for you:
1. YES, you were verbally assaulting me, but it's OK, I don't really care... you're just wasting your time.
2. Saying "I don't know" doesn't make a person ignorant as one can study the problem further and find a solution. I didn't do that, because 1. I don't have to, and 2. Why should I?
3. Why do you think I blow things out of proportion. Maybe YOU do that?! I can only say that I didn't experience the problems many others seem to experience. What else do you want me to say?
4. I refuse to be forced to admit that I have problems with my Joycons, when I don't. What happens with future Joycons I might purchase, I can't say, maybe they will be faulty, but the ones I have now are not.
5.Sorry, but by saying "It's fine that you're fine, and it's fine that you don't understand, but I hope you don't try and deny that this is an issue or deny our experiences. I also hope you don't imply that this is a user issue when the fault is 100% Nintendo's." YOU IMPLY that I don't acknowledge the problem and furthermore by accusing me of blowing things out of proportion doesn't help your defence... YOU learn how to read.
5. I'm really NOT interested in hearing about you being bored, thank you very much.
And...
6. YOU certainly don't tell ME what to do, when you're not even able to have a normal conversation, where everyone is allowed to express their views freely.
@12345heath Actually very easy to do repairs. First time I just watched a YouTube-vid and second time I just did the repair with no reference. My teen daughter can do this in her sleep.
@12345heath I am simply tired of repeating my self ad infinitum, but just for you... I DID NOT SAY THAT THE PROBLEM DOESN'T EXIST. READ BEFORE COMMENTING... the same goes for all you who just blabber on without context... READ first, then COMMENT.
@buggysdad Wow, I don't know how many times I have to say this... I KNOW THERE IS A PROBLEM. It just seems my friends and I have been lucky. As I've described countless times now, I also got the problem after 2 years. I am very sorry that you have that many issues, but fact remains, I didn't and THAT IS THAT.
@ComposedJam Well now, quite disappointing that you resort to name calling... disappointing and immature. This is obviously not a discussion anymore, where everybody can have their say. If I don't say and think like you, which in turn would mean that I'd have to lie, then I'm not welcome in this forum. Wow, being called an ignorant just because I didn't experience the exact amount of problems like you, is simply mindblowing. Maybe you're jealous?! But allow me to retort: If you'd spent a little more time reading comments instead of verbally assaulting me, then you would have realised that I actually NEVER EVER said that I don't acknowledge the problem. I just described my experience and that of my friends. Actually, funny enough I also described how I got the problem after 2 years of heavy use. I don't think I have to apologise to you for not having problems with my Joycons. I know there is a problem, but it seems some regions are more affected than others, I don't know.
Before you write another comment please 1. Learn some manners and 2. Read before you write.
@MoonKnight7 So I'll raise you with "I know more people than you who have no problems... and my dad can beat up your dad."
Come on... this is not a contest of who knows the most people with or without problems. Fact is I first experienced problems with my Joycons after 2 years of heavy use and the same goes for my friends with small variations.
AGAIN I would like to point out that I AM NOT denying that there might be a problem, but we were not affected by it, luckily.
@spirit_flame Sorry, but when did I NOT acknowledge there is a problem? I only said that I experienced this problem after 2 years of heavy use and that none of my friends experienced it. That does NOT mean I think the drift problem is nonexistent.
@WallyWest Sorry if you feel offended, but I can only describe my experience and as my joycons started drifting AFTER the warranty period, I repaired them myself... actually, it was only one of the Joycons that started drifting at the time. I never said the problem doesn't exist... I had the problem myself, but 2 years went by with daily gaming before the problem showed up, so in my case I think it's been plain wear and tear. I have 2 pairs of joycons which I have repaired over time and they all function perfectly at the time of writing.
I simply don't understand the problem. We bought the Switch in November 2017 and we played heavily every day for almost 2 years, even bringing it on vacation, before I noticed a little drift. Well, I just ordered new sticks and repaired the Joycon for next to nothing, case closed. The problem can't be that big... and none of my friends have any issues, so really, I don't understand...
I just tried Control on the Switch with my quite speedy internet connection and while it was not a pleasure to have to endure choppy sound, the gameplay was fast and smooth enough.
Who needs "Need For Speed"... well, who needs EA?! Asphalt 9 is great and more than enough for me... 285 hours, garage lvl 9, 41 cars and my own club... FOR FREE.
Stop whining and repair the joystick yourself... it's so easy my daughter can do that and it'll cost next to nothing. Noone is "screwed" just because of a little drift.
Well, DF recently tested RE5 and 6 and hammered them for bad frame rates and terrible resolution among other things... put in short... they hate both games on Switch. The stick in my right Joycon broke after a fall, so I ordered a handful of new sticks from Zedlabs in the UK and some tools from a local online shop. Very cheap solution which took me about 30 minutes to complete. Now one of my replacement Joycons has started drifting after very heavy use, so I guess I'm at it again.
Yay... it's official... I will soon be utterly bankrupt with NO way back whatsoever. Jeeeeeeeesus... seriously, Nintendo + 3rd parties... this is the best Direct EVER!!!
@construx You are maybe a little too much pessimistic. WiiU-like future? Well, everybody knows EA hates Nintendo after the latter refused to allow Origin on the console and thank God for that. I bought Fifa 18 and was entertained for a while. Then I actually thought about buying Fifa 20 until EA revealed it will be just an update to 19 at full price. Hahaha, EA, who do you think you're fooling? Now I will find some really cheap second hand 19 and get that instead. This is EA in a nutshell as it has always been, but how about all the other developers? Bethesda, From Software, Rebellion, Netherrealm, Platinum, Arc System Works, THQ Nordic etc... the Switch is nowhere near the fate of the WiiU and the developers know this. The WiiU sold a measly 13 million consoles in its lifetime and Switch already surpassed the 40 million mark selling faster than the PS4. It's only EA and Activision who think Nintendo money stinks. So cheer up and enjoy all the great games coming to the Switch.
@sixrings Well, EA can keep their Battlefield games, a game series making a circus out of interesting historical periods. Then there's Call of Duty, which used to be really great and historically correct until they f..... it up by focusing on modern/future settings and going to space. GTA... probably the most boring game series ever, so thank God we don't get that garbage and I don't even want to think about the scandal that is Fifa for Switch... EA demanding full price for a half assed update to 19 is equal to armed bank robbery...shame on you EA. Tomb Raider and RDR on the other hand could be cool on Switch, though.
Am I still enjoying the game? That will be a yes. Am I enjoying the Warner Bros. thieving and lying customer service? NO!!! I preordered the game, which unfortunately didn't come with my much expected download code and when I contacted customer service at the online retail shop where I bought the game, they couldn't help me. Instead they gave me the phone number for WB customer service and an e-mail both of which they were told by WB should be used in case of missing codes. The phone number turned out to be out of order and they never replied to my e-mail. Then I tried making an open comment on their twitter account and then they contacted med demanding proof of purchase and pictures of both receipt and the game itself. I sent all and heard nothing. Then I tried again and they suddenly told me I wasn't eligible for the Shao Kahn DLC as the game launched on the 23rd of april. Then I had to remind them that this wasn't the case for the European Switch version and they apologised and told me a senior representative would contact me... this is now over a week ago and I even sent one more message to them to check the status of my complaint... nothing. WB SUCK ASS big time... a pity because the game is absolutely great.
