@shaneoh I get you, about your workplace, totally. I'm in the marine industry, I go round the world fixing boats. And your average boatyard, in whatever country, is full of filthy men who tell filthy jokes and are very un-pc. And it was like that when I got into it, I accept that, but there's still a line. And I'm first to say when I think the line is being crossed. Nobody should ever dread going to work.

I already had the golf one, got for 80p or so a while back. Reasonable little thing.
I just downloaded Jumping Joe and Robonauts, think they look quite decent. I can appreciate a nice simple something to just blitz through. I've really enjoyed a few simple cheap games lately. Goblin Sword, Xeodrifter, Blazing Beaks, Galaxy Champions TV. There are some gems in the cheap section.

@WaffleKnight is it worth 47p?
That would be the price including my coin discount.

Everyone should be able to play at a difficulty level they enjoy. Some of you enjoy super hard, great, good for you. I think if you can complete a game on the super hard level you should get a bonus cut scene, bonus levels, or whatever, fair play to you.
Not everyone can play to that level. And it ain't just about getting good. I'd love to, but I really can't. I have horrendous arthritis in my hands, I can't play anything rigorous like cuphead for more than one hour. I bought cuphead, and I love it, but usually I can only complete a couple of levels max (and die a whole bunch of times, of course), before I have to give it a rest. The sides of my hands go numb and I have to cool off for at least 30 minutes. Most people are better at games than me, and I'm totally cool with that. But I pay my hard earned money fair and square same as anyone, why should I be limited to a few gentle games? I want the same mad game experiences as other people. I don't understand the thinking of this is how I enjoy this, so this is how it should be, I don't care who is excluded. How selfish is that?

I'm getting into Outlast, got it at the nice price, enjoying it so far, never had it first time around. Got a few more banged onto the backlog, Steamworld Heist, Pinstripe, Goblin Sword, Crypt of The Necrodancer, Anodyne, Downwell, maybe a few others, I forget.
My backlog actually excites me and I look upon it with pride. I'll get stuck into those when I finally get back to travelling with work. It's very reassuring to know I have hundreds of hours of entertainment lined up, wherever I go.

Have a fabulous weekend you beautiful people 👍

@DoktorTotenKopf it's an extension of the hobby for me, I play snooker and football in real life, and enjoy the video game too. Scotland will never win the world Cup, but they have on my fifa. I'll never hit 6 under at St Andrews, but I can rock with anyone on PGA. We're still in the realms of fantasy. I've heard this before, and I think it's really weird, I never say to anyone why do you play GTA? You know you can be a criminal in real life?

I finished Golf Story, but I'm saving the quality games in the backlog for when I get traveling with work again.
In the meantime, I picked up Galaxy Champions TV for about £1.30, just using eshop points. I loved Smash TV when I was a kid, so it instantly got my attention, and man I am hooked. It's such a good little game, meaty weapons, frantic action. Absolute bargain.
