Curve Digital has announced that Peaky Blinders: Mastermind, a game based on the hit TV drama, will be launching on Switch next month. You'll be able to get your hands on it from 20th August.
The game is a puzzle-adventure title developed by FuturLab, which has worked in collaboration with the creative and production teams behind the TV show itself. As we found out when it was first announced back in April, the game's story takes place immediately before the events of the show’s very first season, with players joining the Shelby family's criminal organisation as they discover a sinister plot to put Tommy out of business.
Players must plan and enact strategies by taking control of key members of the Shelby family during the same timeline, moving each character into position at exactly the right moment in order to navigate challenging scenarios. A new trailer for the game has been released today (see above), starring none other than Cillian Murphy who plays Tommy in the show.
You'll find Peaky Blinders: Mastermind available on the Switch eShop for $24.99 / €24.99 / £19.99 when it launches next month.
James Marsden, Game Director at FuturLab, says, "It's been an honour to be trusted with the Peaky Blinders license. Our team has created a game that reflects the heart of what makes the show compelling: Tommy Shelby's ability to manipulate friends, family and foes in the pursuit of his master plan."

Too bad I was not that engaged with the show... Would love a Benedict Cumberbatch´s Sherlock instead. Also, I wonder how a MadMen game looks like!
Never watched the show, but it seems pretty cool! And the game looks great!
Just need a release date for Hot Shot Racing now.....
Manipulate time?
Really enjoy the show and this looks interesting. But will wait for reviews before checking it out.
Also the screenshots and trailer appear to be PC footage. It doesn't look to be a graphically demanding game, so I hope the Switch version doesn't somehow end up low res and muddy looking
Watched the first two and didnt get in to the show. People always say "But Series 4 is brilliant" but i dont want to watch 3 series of dross just to get to the good stuff.
@Bunkerneath I watched nearly all of it, my missus quite enjoyed it, but I thought it was corny as hell. Even series 4. You ain't missing much tbh pal.
I'd prefer a new season of the show in August but this will suffice I guess.
@Francema You play as Don and help Peggy get an abortion and cover it up.
I hope fans enjoy the game, good for them. It's a no from me. Unless it reviews sensationally well.
@Franklin you can rewind time to change when, where and what your characters do so things go off without a hitch is my understanding.
@JHDK ...and if you can get drunk, day one purchase!!! LOL
Never heard of it, but that has got to be the absolute most British sounding title I have ever heard of....
So it's not about Tommy getting more and more wound up about answering difficult general knowledge questions?
Futurlab is amazing (Velocity 2X is one of my top five games of all time). I'll be getting this on day one despite not caring for the show at all.
@Creature its entirely possible I misunderstood em', if I did well if that's the worst to happen today I'm doing darn good.
