@Dethmunk I agree with you. I'm an average standard gamer, and I want to love Cuphead, but yeah the difficulty is mental and I rarely visit it now.

Weirdly though, I'm really enjoying Jump King. Which is also insanely difficult. But you can quickly have a go on that and get up to a new area, it never feels like a brick wall to progress.

@Kvnc77 Hahaha yeah I seen old boys launching themselves at that thing, then stand back and lean to one side. And everyone swore their technique was the best. Actually was a very good game yeah.

@Kvnc77 is that the one that had a motion ball built into the flat front of the cabinet? I worked at a pub when I was 18 and we had that. Wasn't much of a hit with any young folk, but all the lads from our pub golf section loved it. They would play it all afternoon, about 10 of them. They were all 60+ years old as well.

@Jashin yeah I feel that. I had a go at defeating Calasmos and got my butt kicked and left it alone for a bit, but now I've just gone back out into the world to mop up side quests, and if you go chat with Gemma in Cobblestone she puts you onto a few new fun quests. I'm enjoying it again, and there's no real pressure to do anything. Calasmos can wait until I'm ready to deal with him.

Re: Video: Are These The Two Worst Games On Nintendo Switch?

PapaMurphy

I think this should be a regular feature, having a laugh at such garbage. Good job on the video Jon, the bit with the character scaling was a hoot.

Worst game I've played on switch is Super Arcade Soccer. I got it for about 50p, probably with spare coinage, and still felt ripped off. Glitchy, buggy, camera can't keep up with the play, which is incredible because it's like you're playing with eleven 85 year olds, top down mode is horrendous, you can't tell which players are yours, the ball moves like a giant boulder, you can't accurately select players or pass properly, it's just amazing how hopeless it is.
Downloaded and deleted within 15 minutes, a new record for me. Avoid at all costs.

@PikaPhantom hey man, what's the best baseball game for switch? I don't care for the game in real life, same as golf, but it can make for good video games. I'd be interested in getting a decent baseball sim. Cheers.

I did buy a Padres shirt once, but only because it was stylish, I didn't even know who they were at the time 😆👍

@MattAllsopp it ticks all the boxes for me. The combat feels meaty, I can see it will get deeper and more sophisticated, it's super atmospheric and the soundtrack is just unreal. I think it's one of those, where if you like the look of it, then it's a sure thing for you.

@Dualmask you can get Transistor and Bastion real cheap right now if yo fancy trying those first? I had my first half hour blast of Hades the other day, and it really is quite something. I'm just putting it on the back burner for now until I finish something else, but that's definitely the next meaty endeavour.
