@r1chard some people said they only thought Horace was a solid 8 or a top end 7. Looks my kind of jam though, so I'll probably rate it higher I'd guess. I got that myself last week, not played it yet though, I'm still polishing off Dragon Quest 11, and I had my first half hour blast of Hades earlier, yeah, it's seriously impressive, I can definitely see myself sinking mega hours into that.

@chewytapeworm Golf Story was one of my most favourite things I played through this year. Such a good laugh, and very satisfying when you win the final competition. Enjoy!

@Travisemo007 did Baldo get released? I really liked the look of that, but it all went quiet.

I picked up Hades the other day, but I'm going to save it for when I've finished other things. I enjoy sinking big hours into these epic games, and casually dipping in on more light hearted things in between.

I could see myself sinking mega hours into this. I've got one hell of a backlog though. Another for wish list and wait.

@Rpg-lover wow, what are you doing in Dragon Quest after 665 hours?!?!? I've clocked about 110 on that, finished the main story, on the sage quest just now.

I won't be playing those just yet, still trying to beat Dragon Quest 11. Done the main story, I'm in the post game now, doing the sage quest.

I picked up Horace, Manticore and Blazing Chrome in the sale, I'll probably add a few more too, some very good deals on my wish list.

Yeah I instantly got Horace as well, looking forward to that. There's a few more very tempting ones, I'll probably dip in again.

Yoku's Island Express is a great game, such charm, I found it a lovely chilled out ride.

I tried the online thing for a week. It was fun, original Mario Kart is still class, and I enjoyed a run through Mario bros. 3, but I don't want a rolling subscription. It didn't capture my heart the same as way back. For once, genuinely, it's not you, it's me.

Gonna finish Dragon Quest 11. I'm levelled up enough to defeat Mordegon now.

Ehhhhhh, I dunno. Looks cool, but the way dude runs is a bit annoying to me. Father Dougal vs. Goblins.

Link's Awakening is the only game I've got at full price. Even as a noob getting back in the game, I quickly wised up to "wish list it and see what happens". I want Mario Kart, DK Tropical Freeze, some other top price games, but the prices always feel really steep, especially when I'm regularly picking up brilliant deals on the eshop for a fiver or less.

Wuppo, Marble It Up, Sagebrush, those all tickle my fancy. Cheers 👍

I will definitely get Pure Pool, but I'm still playing Snooker 19 quite a bit, so I'll just hang fire on that for a bit.

Wulverblade. Medieval streets of rage type action with Scottish clans fighting off the Romans and cockney English. That was always going to hit the spot with me 😄👍

I'm enjoying 198X just now too. Fun and varied retro action.

That Warhammer game is great. I just gave it a go out of curiosity. Armello, Slay The Spire and Thronebreaker are all on the wish list, and are guaranteed purchases in the future. I didn't really think this sort of thing would be my jam, but it totally is.

@kurtasbestos I just got that in the sale, might start it today. I got Wandersong as well, nice balance there hahaha.

But I'm mostly in a huff about my local pub not reopening next week. Harrumph!

@Clyde_Radcliffe I have Akane and that's decent. Probably won't set your heart on fire, but it's well worth a couple of quid, good little blast of a game. Then you can sample the others for nowt. Good deal tbf 👍

@PlayedNSlayed mate, DQ11 is unreal. I didn't really think I was a jrpg kind of guy, but I liked the demo and it just hooked me straight away. Top, top game.

I really fancy astral chain, might get a physical after Christmas though. Might finally pull the trigger on Dragon Ball Fighterz at that price. Forager is a good price now too. I could see myself sinking hours into that.

Killer is a game that gets played in British pubs regularly. Good for when you've got a big crew in the house, everyone gets to be involved. One pub I used to frequent, it was a big deal every Sunday, you'd get 15 players minimum. Fiver in, £2 penalty for potting the white, and if the last man standing didn't pot with the final shot, everyone pays in again and it's a rollover. I won about £160 once after a 2 hour game. Lost every other time though hahaha

You're a great site, I haven't been here long, but this place has been a wonderful resource for me, gently guiding my hand in the Nintendo world, putting me onto wonderful experiences I might have otherwise passed on.

Dragon Quest 11. Currently stuck on the bit where you have to fight jinxed Jade in the monster casino. Damm that girl is tough.

@Dpullam I got that on discount last week. Looks marvellous. I won't start it for a little while yet though.

@XiaoShao I have total faith in them. It looked brilliant in the trailer I seen for it. I'm still a bit of a noob really, I actually seen the Sports Story trailer first, and I didn't get it at all hahaha. I hope it's a ripping success for them too, an adventurous dev like that deserves it.

@XiaoShao amen brother. I'd love a new Mario Golf. Day 1 purchase, and I don't often do that. Golf Story is brilliant, I can't wait for the follow up, Sports Story. All gone a bit quiet on that though eh?

I'm a bit of a noob really, but I return to Golf Story quite a lot, just to get new course records, recklessly try to smash a hole in one. And fifa has a nice chilled effect, trying to win the champions league for Shaktar Donetsk or someone like that.

Dragon Quest 11 still. Really getting sucked in deep with it now, I'm on Erik's solo bit with the friendly slime. Such a great game.

Added loads to the backlog this week, Ni no kuni, wulverblade, Gonner, I'll get round to those after. Been dipping into 198X as well in between serious dragon quest sessions. That's a great game too.

I was blown away by how polished it was, but the actual gameplay didn't grab me too much. I can appreciate it's good, just not my bag I don't think.

From the side, that thing looks like Emporor Zurg out of Toy Story
