@Vivid_viking ah man that was fun. The scenario games were magic. Only slight criticism is once you got the hang of it, it was too easy. It was game over for everyone as soon as you learned the behind the back over the head flick, defender always jumped for it so you guaranteed could beat everyone.
@SirAlDente I got this. It's a fun little knockabout, games against the computer are weird, sometimes you can win 6-1, but a lead of less than 5 goals never seems to be safe, you can get 3 banged in against you in a couple of minutes easily. Goalie ai is sometimes terrible, but that feels quite realistic this season hahaha. It's a simple game, it has its flaws, but it is fun and worth getting for even the full asking price.
@Yanina yeah, it's exactly that. And I'm one of those people. I only got my switch in May and I wanted a good footy game, so I just automatically got fifa 20. And I just like to play myself, a CL campaign as one of the smaller teams or a league 2 season as Newport County, something like that. I'm fully satisfied with my purchase, it's decent. But I definitely would have just got fifa 18 for cheaper if I'd known about all this lazy reskin business. I'm not bothered at all about having all the latest kits. I feel slightly guilty for going in blind and playing a part in feeding the demand that keeps this happening. Oh well, at least I know better now.
@The_Pixel_King yeah Hades looks awesome, and it reviewed so well. I usually only make one decent price purchase per month, and I really did like the look of this, so it was a toss up between the two. Glad I waited for the review, something just spooked me a bit on a YouTube video, it said this is not switch footage, so I thought right, hang fire on this. Cheers
Yeah they're all bad, but I went with Valderama, class footballer, sensational hair. Him, Rene Higuita and Faustino Asprilla were all mates with Pablo Escobar as well. Old Carlos could tell you some mad stories.
@RichyM yo that's awesome you've had such a good experience here. You know, I had a similar experience with Sayonara Wild Hearts. If I'd just heard the music on the radio at work, I don't think it would have grabbed me, but when you couple it with a good game, you definitely get a more immersive experience that connects you with the music more. I absolutely love the music from Sayonara Wild Hearts now. It's brilliant.
I'm indifferent with Avicii, game looks good though. I'd mega enjoy a hip hop version of this, with DJ Premier, Mr Green, Damu the Fudgemunk, K-Def, Pete Rock, Large Professor etc...
@Rhaoulos I agree too. I like a challenge, but I also like some things that are a breeze. I'm not mega good at gaming either tbh. I bought Cuphead, and I like it, but jeez it's hard, I don't think I'm ever going to beat it.
@Shambo they might have a point. I was in tesco the other day and accidentally bought a vegan almond iced coffee. But I just had it anyway and it was surprisingly delicious. So no worries.
@KnightsTemplar yeah I know that. Where did I give the impression that I didn't know that? I did mention I'm new to this. What's the problem with that? Your comment makes no sense. Just incoherent waffling. Cheers anyway.
@somebread hmmm I dunno mate, come to think about it, I think it's the first one I've ever got. I'm still pretty new to all this though. Only about 6 months since I got back into gaming and joined here.
@ummyeahnintendo I got an email this week saying that 34 games on my wishlist were on offer. It didn't say which ones though, and I still had to browse through the eshop like usual lol
Thief Simulator is getting tedious now. I'd like to be able to block games and not see them anymore. I'm never going to buy that tosh, I wouldn't get it for 1p. stop showing me it.
Alwa's Legacy is probably the new one I want the most, the 3 top picks all went on the wish list. This week I got 198X and Dragon Quest XI, it was too tempting at the knockdown price.
@MeloMan I picked up Anodyne a while back but haven't played it at all yet. How are you getting on with it? I'm excited to start that, I just want to finish a couple of other things first.

What The Golf just added a demo on the eshop. Which I tried. That's great, I'm sold on getting that soon now.
Re: Best Cheap Nintendo Switch Games - Switch eShop Deals (Europe)
This week I am gonna bag...
Ni no kuni
Gonner
Bloodroots
Bury me, my love
Which will run me about 11 quid. That is pretty insane tbf

@scully1888 Nacho Novo lived right in front of my uncle's place in Wemyss Bay during his Rangers days. Decent guy.

Super Soccer Blast is worth a look. Super simple, but good fun.

Damm, that's a shame. I liked the look of this too. Oh well, Hades it is then.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #64 - International Superstar Soccer 98
@ravj17 Viva Colombia amigo! I have a friend from New Zealand who is living in Medellin and he loves it. That place is really on the up now 👍

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 17th)
Dragon Quest 11. I'm on Sylvando's boat now. Absolute class game.
I also added Ageloss and 99 Vidas to the collection, they're on at a nice price.
Re: Review: AVICII Invector Encore Edition - A Fitting Tribute To A Much-Missed Musical Talent
@JoeyTS he might have just not known that tbf. I thought he asked his question quite tactfully.
Re: Review: AVICII Invector Encore Edition - A Fitting Tribute To A Much-Missed Musical Talent
@kobashi100 yeah bro! Leaf Dog is awesome, I would dig a UK expansion pack with him, Jehst, Lewis Parker, Pete Cannon 👍

I'm in. I'm not super jaded with the art style. Not an issue for me.
Re: Video: 21 Best Switch Games for Under $5
Anyone played Goblin Sword? I picked it up for about £1 and I love it. Simple d&d style platformer, and tremendous fun.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 10th)
Dragon Quest 11, got it at the knockdown price, I'll probably stick with it until I beat it.

@Shambo wow you're very knowledgeable about all that.

Re: Devolver Digital's Disc Room Slices Up The Switch On October 22nd
Hmmm, I dunno. I'd definitely try a demo and see how I like it. Some of those levels looked pure impossible though hahaha
Re: Feature: No More Robots Boss On How Switch eShop Is Pushing Publishers To Game The System
@Zadaris hahaha yeah I do that. I need a wish list clear out. I have a much better idea now of what I seriously might buy.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 3rd)
I'm going to be playing Yoku's Island Express. I bought it ages ago, and now it's next up.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 3rd)
@andywinter you're off to a good start with that bunch. Welcome aboard. I'd recommend Golf Story and West Of Loathing. I've had great fun with those.
Re: Mini Review: Micro Pico Racers - Sadly Not In The Same League As Micro Machines
@cheesedude yeah I think I'll probably only get it if it's going real cheap in a sale tbh.
Re: Mini Review: Micro Pico Racers - Sadly Not In The Same League As Micro Machines
@cheesedude hey check out Mantis Burn Racing. I seen switch corner on YouTube recommend it last week. I don't have it yet, but it looks really good.
Re: Review: Alwa's Legacy - One Of The Best Metroidvanias We've Seen On Switch So Far
I'm definitely going to be getting this. Looks brilliant in action in the trailer.
Re: Move Over, Untitled Goose Game - There's An Even Mightier Waterfowl Coming To Switch
I think that looks like tremendous fun. If it reviews well, I'm in.
Re: Review: Hades - A Heavenly Trip Into Hell That's Utterly Essential For All Switch Owners
I did think it looked very promising, all the co signs here have sealed the deal. Next purchase for sure 👍
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 19th)
@MeloMan that's exactly what I'm saving it for. Cheers for that mate 👍

Re: Switch Owners Can Claim A Free Game This Weekend If They Already Own One Of These Titles
I copped it. Hey, it was free. Sounds alright, might get round to it one day.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 19th)
I'm jumping between West Of Loathing and The Takeover. Should finish both this weekend. Then I will start Undertale.
Re: VooFoo And Ripstone Are Bringing The Acclaimed Pure Pool To Switch
I still haven't got the official snooker game. Even on sale it's a bit pricey. This looks more fun tbh.
Re: VooFoo And Ripstone Are Bringing The Acclaimed Pure Pool To Switch
That looks magic. Finally, a worthy successor to Super Monkey Pool.
Re: Review: Road To Guangdong - A Fine Story Ruined By Shoddy Performance And Linearity
@N64-ROX does it? I'll get on that later, cheers. That's passed me by somehow. I reckon I'll definitely go in on Neo Cab soon, I love the look of it.
Re: Review: Road To Guangdong - A Fine Story Ruined By Shoddy Performance And Linearity
Dang. I liked the look of this. I was thinking of getting this or Neo Cab.
Oh well, Neo Cab it is then.
Re: Random: Nintendo's Latest Switch Update Blocked Some Inappropriate Nicknames
