As a kid I loved playing Castlevania 2, but really like replaying Dracula's castle at the end because the music was awesome. Same with the treetop area of Faxanadu.

I'd rather see illusion of Gaia but I'd be happy with either.

I am definitely not optimistic about this. I hope I'll be surprised, but I'm not into drastic changes to the formula with this series. Also, the darker parts of DQ11 were my least favorite.

I played a lot over the weekend, still love the game, and the improvements really helped the experience. Was glad to buy it again with all of the improvements considered.

This would be awesome. I haven't played any of those. Never has the advance. I loved Castlevania 2 and the DS games (all three) so this would be great.

@SalvorHardin lmao. I had to go back and watch the trailer again. It does look like the person may be partially topless on that opening scene. I still stick with my time travelling theory however, even if it's always Link.

Looks more like Zelda in half of those scenes. When (what is clearly) Link is on the ground, there is not a single floating island. My guess is Zelda falls into the pit, and somehow ends up in a different time (10000 years ago?), Leaving Link in the present. Maybe you switch back and forth between them, fighting Ganon in the past and present. Would at least explain why the "ground" scenes don't have floating islands anywhere.

Pretty sure most people who want a switch have one by now, where the other consoles are still new and harder to find.

Zelda 2 primarily. For me this game has aged really well.

Dq5 is my favorite and probably my favorite jrpg in general. And I didn't even play until maybe five years ago.

I definitely prefer the more customizable party types like 3, 5, 6 and 9, so those are my favorites (7 is on the very bottom of my list though). 11 and 8 are good but I wouldn't replay them.

These are awesome, except for Mr Clean which is pretty terrifying.

But is the game itself any fun?

I like them all except 7. 4 and 5 are my favorite.

We might see a teaser for dq12. We saw early dq11 footage a couple years before release iirc. But I'd love to see some of the older games available on switch, especially 3-6 and 9.

Nintendo online has been really disappointing compared to VC on Wii and Wii U. I'll never understand why they didn't continue VC on Switch, that was such genius. Nintendo Online, not so much.

My biggest issue with this game were the boards. They were some of my least favorite in the series.

He's trolling the people who keep pestering him about it, and they deserve it. It's hilarious.

I got it for ps5, this kind of game I don't want to deal with any bigger stuttering/res issues. As for the game itself I really like it. It gets repetitive a bit with the same types of puzzles, but BotW was the same way. I can't knock it for being a lot like BotW if it's still fun to play.

Great game, been playing on ps5. Totally ok that it's basically a BotW ripoff because it's very fun.

That was an awesome day, binging on Zelda all day (and weekend) with my wife.

So glad it is doing well with pre orders. It's one of my favorites in the series and always hated on for motion controls. Hopefully the new control option will work for more people.

The worst Zelda game, so hopefully they're not putting all their effort into this one as a remake.

I loved the blue fire demo, and it's downloaded on my switch ready to go after work.

I've been waiting for Blue Fire since the steam demo. And hopefully will have that done before 3D World.

Still doing a two hour session every week. It's a great and fun addition to my routine. Hope they make an improved sequel.

As a Michigander, I would have no idea how to play with that one lol.

I loved this game, but was never able to beat it as a kid. Until save states anyway lol

That's good news. I need to get builders 2 eventually. I'm hoping for it to be on steam's winter sale, I know it's unlikely though.

On the flip side, I have all the games for switch I want. Can't wait for age of calamity.

Switch and PC (and ps4) currently. It will probably stay that way until ff16 or possibly horizon 2. Not much on the ps5 looks great to me right now.

I don't remember the last time I played in handheld mode. Bad opinion, whoever this guy is.

For one, why would I buy a manual for something that has been free in the past?
Secondly, any bets on how long before it's taken down? That can't be legal to sell for profit.

I am always surprised how call of duty does so well.

There are lots of interesting ways they could implement combat in a turn based Mario rpg. But mario rpgs seem to be a thing if the past now.

BotW was an anomaly for me. I played for probably 400 hours, it was the greatest gaming ever in my 36 years, and have almost no desire to play it ever again.

E3 is needed. I barely saw anything I cared about, which may just be because I didn't care to follow the presentations at all. And...where's Nintendo hiding?

I went with 2016 but could have been 2015 also. The 3ds was doing better in 2015 though it seems.

I never finished the game due to the crippling frame rate during the valefar boss fight. I've never even seen them acknowledge the issue. At this point I consider it having been a waste of money.
