If it had gone back to its RPG roots I would have absolutely bought it. This... Is not for me.

I enjoyed it a lot on Steam. I hadn't played it since they released the "final edition" updates but looks like they fixed the big problems I had with difficulty spikes.

Overall how I expected, but Zelda 2 is always way further down the list than it deserves. Still one of my favorites in the series.

@WiltonRoots I agree but it would be nice to hear something from them, even if it is "hey we are a bit behind because of covid-19" but they've been completely silent.

Metacritic user reviews are basically 0 or 10, I cannot really trust those, and 0 seems a bit ridiculous. I do agree having one island per console is a very bad design. I'm not an AC fan but if I was on the fence this would turn me away from buying easily.

User review aggregates are pretty much useless these days. People rage review with 0s when they probably would give more of a 5 or 6. You also have people in the other end trying to counterbalance with 10s. Stick to critic reviews.

No other video games works this way. An entire console doesn't typically share a large part of a game. I can tell you're a fan and wanting to defend the decision but it just doesn't make sense.

Sadly no and it hasn't had a remake worth playing. On switch I'd say 7 or 9 to start.

@ViewtifulJotun I would say FF6 as a starting point if you like classic SNES RPGs.

Nintendo really needs to start communicating. I usually don't care too much but this now feels like Wii U era lack of games and excitement.

Good point. Maybe something like the "new 3ds" that was required for some of the SNES game? I just think they're going to have a rough time with third party support once the new consoles arrive. If a PS4 game is hard to port, a PS5 game isn't going to be easier.

I think they'll release a pro version of the switch that is still compatible with all of the games. It could have a little more processing power and battery life but the games still run on both versions. Similar to PS4 pro.

The last thing we need is another Direct entirely about Pokemon. We need a Direct about other games coming soon, because there's not much on the horizon right now.

I know very little about anime, but I feel like there are different levels of anime. I enjoy things like dragon quest (long time fan) final fantasy, and Zelda. But the styles like xenoblade, SMT and Persona are a little too much for my taste. That said, the gameplay of P5 made up for it.

They have been talking about nothing but Pokemon since October. This needed to be a direct about the coming year not more Pokemon. Really disappointing and makes me think there's not much else on the near horizon.

The older I get, the more I just want Zelda stuff, and don't find time for much else (except Metroid...and dragon quest). It's too early for BotW2 but I'd love to see OOT hd ported from 3ds and TPHD. I don't see either one happening though. Oh and if they gave us a skyward sword hd I'd insta-buy.

Cool cool mountain was the first thing that came to mind for some reason.
The entire snowhead area of Majora's Mask was the worst. But there is little I liked about that game.

I knew this would be about Terranigma before I clicked. Great game. I do like Illusion of Gaia a bit better though.

It's not a good movie. I just streamed it last night with my wife and still think it is terrible. I used to think it was at least better than episode two but honestly I'm not so sure anymore. I'm going to see episode 9 because I think jj Abrams will do better (I did like TFA) and of course I want to see how it ends, but I would not see a Rian Johnson trilogy.

Between this and the game awards saying we definitely don't want to miss Reggie's moment, it's hard not to be excited.

Playing this on level 27 about an hour every other day. Just into world 5. Never expected it to give such a good workout. Really impressed

I feel like there should be another pre-holiday title, besides Pokemon. I wonder if there will be a surprise release, even if one of the Wii U Zelda HD games.

It is only inevitable if we, the players, support them. A subscription service only benefits them. I prefer to own the games that I purchase. If all games turn into subscriptions and streaming, I'll find a new hobby.

Luigi's mansion and links awakening obviously. Probably some on animal crossing. I hope we will see OOT hd (3ds version), and maybe a teaser for the next 3d zelda and mario. I dont think we'll see metroid prime 4 since they rebooted the project.

Will this be the same as the anniversary edition?
