I'm not a "censorship apologist"! I don't like censorship in adult media. But there are a few exceptions. Xenoblade isn't a Mature rated game and children shouldn't be displayed almost naked. I mean, it's common sense, fictional or not.

Linly is a kid. Thank god they censored these sexy costumes. No problem with naked adults in video games though. Sexualizing under-aged characters is something i really hate about japanese media (anime, games, etc.).

@Captain_Toad Well, it's bad game design then. I'm not interested in watching tutorials on YouTube just to understand basic gameplay (same reason why i dislike MOBA games).

But anyway, that's not my issue. It's not the difficulty in Monster Hunter that bothers me, the game just bores me.

A friend of mine used to play the PSP MH games excessively, so I finally gave it a try and bought Monster Hunter 4.

I really don't like it and can't understand the hype around the series. There's terrible game design everywhere. It's like playing a single player MMO. Do boring missions without a proper story, questing, farming, looting... no thanks, I prefer RPGs like Xenoblade which have a better fighting system and more entertaining gameplay experience.

The reactions of some fans make me laugh "It doesn't look like HD".
People seem to forget what these two letters really stand for. If you have played TP on the Wii, you should INSTANTLY see that the footage shown in the Direct has no more of the aliasing and overall has much sharper textures.

Inb4 Fallout Vault Simulator wins "Best Mobile Game", just because it's a Fallout themed game. The hype around the brand is annoying. But if this really happens, I'll quit watching this award show forever.

Download only has no future for AAA games. Yeah maybe even people with slow internet get gigabit internet somewhen but until then, games have grown even bigger. Higher resolution textures for example. In 10 years most AAA titles will maybe be over 100 GB and my crappy internet connection will stay the same.

Who wants their customers to download with bad speed? There always has to be an alternative.

European here. I would give this game a shot for that low price. It's trash but even trash can be entertaining if you lower your standards.

People will always struggle to download big files via the internet, because games are getting bigger in size every year (at least AAA titles). That's why there will always be a physical data carrier for games. It would be stupid to exclude target audience because of their internet speed.

Not all people are living in a city with google fiber. I live at the country-side and only have 44Mbit/s download speed, which takes multiple hours to download games. Also Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo would need to upgrade their servers extremely.

Do you hear that, 90% of the gaming industry? Releasing unfinished / unpolished games sucks!

EA and Ubisoft can learn a lot from Nintendo.

Played one of these on the 3DS, got bored quickly.
But I remember a really interesting feature, that had to do with monster fusions.

I played Toki Tori for a few hours on PC until I got bored.
Isn't there a sequel already, why doesn't that get ported to 3DS instead?

I prefer 2nd hand original Wii retail games. They are mostly really easy to get and cheap.

A HD remaster on the other hand would be rad. Especially Twilight Princess could benefit so much from it. I hope these rumors are true. I hope for a retail release though.

Exclusivity for such titles is really bad in general. Games like this should target all platforms. I doubt that this was a big seller on the PSN Store.

I'm not interested in Tower Defense at all, but it sure has it's target demographic. Mostly on mobile devices though.

Dolphin works "decently". Not bad, not good - just decent. There are some games that run faulty on the dolphin emulator.
I like to emulate a game now and then because it's impressive how the game looks visually. The graphics are so refined in games like No More Heroes 2 or Mario Sunshine, that you wouldn't believe it originated from a nintendo console.

Anyway, it's a pain in the ass imho setting up or playing with emulators. Also it's just not the same as playing with an original controller and on the original system (and even with an old 4:3 TV, good times). Setting your PC up to get the most "original feeling" out of the emulator is really time consuming.

The only thing I really dislike on emulators, are the free roms that wander around the internet. Especially since the CDs/DVDs "age", people interested in emulation should consider to buy a compatible Disc Drive to rip the iso by them selves. Only then i'd consider it as 100% "legal".

The Smash DLC characters are way too expensive.

At the end of the support of this game, the DLC will be twice as expensive as the main game but will not even scratch on the content of the main game.

About the ads: I made an exclusion on my Adblocker (same i do with nintendolife <3) and the ads seem well placed and not distracting.

@rushiosan You should make exclusions on your adblocker to support certain websites. It's not only the click on the ads that count, it's also just the display of it. If it's displayed on your browser, it counts as a impression. The more impressions the more money the hoster gets from any click.
I agree, the internet is not usable anymore without Adblock, but never forget to add exclusions to sites that do ads "well".

The original Pikmin for the Game Cube frustrated me with it's time limits, so I've never tried a newer one. I think I should try out Pikmin 3.
