Good point. We usually have the option to play without them. I think that motion controls were implemented in a much better way in Mario galaxy. They felt forced in Odyssey.

I agree. I'm sick of motion controls. Nintendo won't let go. I hated them in Mario Odyssey.

I agree but they really didn't expand much on MK8D. I wish they would release the smash 4 port with a few new characters/stages and just treat it as a new game supporting it with DLC

Unrelated, but I'd love it if Nintendo made a 2d Mario game with the art style of the Mario kart picture in this article.

Lol. Switch is okay. Lots of indie games and ports but some really strong first party games mixed in. I'm the kind of gamer that will play the same multiplayer games over and over again so I'm okay with the line up because of splatoon.

I didn't have a problem with the smash dlc for Wii U. The roster was already huge and I thought that the new characters were worth the price.

Yeah. It's also good for killing people from above. You are right though, I frequently get killed by longer range weapons.

Off topic but I have to say it. I feel like the new music totally clashes with the art style of the game. I hate it. Lol

Hopefully so. I'm not worried yet. Still very happy with my switch being a splatoon 2 machine.

I hope Nintendo has an impressive E3. Nothing that I'm excited for yet this year.

I wonder if the Mario team could make a good 3D sonic game.

I would love to be able to play splatoon 2 online with friends as easily as I can in overwatch. I hope we don't end up paying for garbage. If the online infrastructure is anything like the current situation then it will be garbage.

Hopefully we will get some news about pikmin 4 at e3.

I guess we'll have to wait until E3 for any big announcements.

Decent voice chat please. I honestly don't care about virtual console. Their statements about updating older games to have online multiplayer sounds more interesting.

I hope they have some exciting announcements coming soon. I'm not very excited by a new Kirby or Yoshi game.

This is a game that I would rather play on one of the other consoles.

This game is terrible.

Mario 3DW is currently my favorite. I think that it's the perfect mix of classic 2d Mario platforming in a 3d setting. I prefer this style to the exploration based gameplay of 64, sunshine, and Odyssey. But I love them all.

I don't like the way that the controls feel in any of the 2D DK games.

I haven't played enough of Odyssey yet to make a decision. I think my all time favorite would be between Galaxy 2 and 3D World.

I just hope it's as good as the smartphone app......may the Mario gods have mercy on us all!

Smash for WiiU came out in 2014 so I think it may be to early for a new entry. I wouldn't mind a WiiU port with better graphics, new stages, and new characters.

Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Overwatch.

Can't wait! I hope that they bring back more old stages.

The 3D effect was great in Luigi's Mansion and SM 3D land.

I agree that there aren't a lot of must have original games on the switch but I think that Splatoon 2 definitely counts as one.

Do you guys think that the Splatfest stages will ever join the regular stage rotation?

Splatoon 2 and Overwatch are the only games I play anymore. They are so good!

I really want to like this game. I love the art style but I always choose to play Splatoon or Overwatch instead.

I hope Nintendo just brings smash 4 to switch with more characters and stages. It was so good!

Nintendo's awesome strategy: release amazing multiplayer games that are a pain to play online with friends. I'm ready for them to stop making consoles.

This game is amazing but it's still a pain to play with friends online.
