I don't think Nintendo is just targeting kids anymore. Also tons of kids are on Xbox. Nintendo based their design on a family friendly image that consumers really don't care about. Just my opinion.

I didn't think about the collectors. Good point. I'm mainly going off my ability to re sell them on TCG or similar sites. For example, I bought a shayman for $60 during the xy days. After rotating out of standard it was worth less than $5. Maybe years down the line it will be worth something to a collector though.

I totally agree. I played for about two years and the price of a good deck is ridiculous. Also the cards don't hold value like magic cards because people only care about the standard format. Still a really fun game though and the cards are beautiful!

This sucks but honestly I've become detached from the idea of playing older games. There are to many new games to keep up with.

I still play occasionally with my son. League battle is still insanely intense and fun.

Not sure what they are complaining about. I just started playing again this week and it's been really fun

The mechanics in the Naruto games are actually pretty good

I'm glad this collaboration is happening but the new Mario legos look hideous. I just bought some of the Mario legos from the 3D world era to build a shrine to the Mario kart gods and they look much better.

I love the art style but I couldn't get into the game play. Maybe they can improve it in the sequel.

The new character looks awesome. I love the art style of these games.

I love shovel knight but this isn't my style. I hope he is a playable character in the next smash!

Got ya. My thoughts are similar. I think Odyssey is for the people who enjoy the collection aspect from Mario 64.

Shovel Knight is amazing. Blew me away

Agreed. The tag team cards made me loose interest.

I've moved on to Vanguard but if the V cards are cool I may come back.

I agree with you on the pricing of smash DLC but I think the value of it is dependent on the person buying it. I know I'll be playing this game consistently until the next smash comes out so if I play for 5 or 6 years the price isn't really a big deal. Just my opinion.

I hope that future MK games continue to incorporate other Nintendo franchises.

That was a great moment in the first game!

I usually only play at home but most of the time I prefer handheld mode. I like having the screen right in my face! Unless it's smash bros or splatoon.

I was 16 when this came out....I played it as a party game then. Now it serves as the ultimate competitive death match between my son and i.

I thought the majin bu stuff was funny but I mostly agree with you. GT was more like a Saturday morning children's cartoon more than an anime.

I don't want a new switch just yet. I think it would be a better strategy to release a blockbuster game during the holidays than to release an upgrade.

I finally tried shovel knight. Got it for Xmas. I was blown away. Such an amazing game.

Not a surprising comment. Nintendo leadership probably still thinks online gaming is a long ways away. Lol

That's a good idea for the roll out.

Random thought. I think that the game has enough characters. It would be interesting to see new skins for existing characters.
