I've somehow already designed over a dozen houses. It's worrying just how much time I've put into the DLC so far.

Either it was a mistake/glitch on Nintendo's part, or they somehow pirated the game. I don't really know if I should feel that what they're doing is wrong or not.

Yeah, I'd love to see some of those improvements, but until then, no thanks. I'll stick with the SNES games.

I'm really hyped for this game. They even have clothing options, which was probably one of my most-wanted features. Definitely buying this when I have the chance.

All of these are great games, yet I only own SwSh, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, and Smash Bros. I know that LM3 did really well, so I wonder where it ranks.

I would criticise these people, but if I'm being honest, the only reason I knew what a GameCube was pre-2019 was that my brother had one, and I played on it a ton. I didn't even know that the Wii U wasn't a handheld until I got a Switch and became more well-informed on Nintendo.

I actually reset my entire island in preparation for the update. There's so much new stuff being added that it just wouldn't feel right to be able to access it all right away without working for it.

Can't wait to grab Shining Pearl! Hopefully they fixed the health bars in the remake.

@Mauzuri Nope. I know that AC:NH had a severe lack of content for a long time, but sometimes people just seem to complain for the sake of complaining. Case in point: the comment section on every single PS Plus article on PushSquare.

I think cloud gaming could work, but it definitely has a lot of problems that need to be addressed.

Hopefully the stick isn't as crappy as the original. That's probably the worst stick on any Nintendo controller besides the Joy-Cons. Actually, scratch that. At least the Joy-Con sticks are somewhat comfortable to use before they start drifting.

Glad that I have a chance to try out Dread. I played through Super Metroid on NSO and I really enjoyed it, so I'm happy that I have the option to test the game out before spending 60 bones.

@Yorumi I'm so jealous of you! I didn't get into gaming until 2019 or so, and by then, Club Nintendo was long gone and My Nintendo was circling the drain.

@Yorumi It's a shame. Although Club Nintendo in North America was kind of awful, it was leagues better than what we have now.

Gosh darn it! I was hoping to pick up a keychain.

I was hoping to play 3D All Stars with this controller, but guess not. Oh well, I'll just stick with the Tribute64 and an original N64.

1. You're assuming that everyone with malfunctioning controllers just have bad hygiene.
2. The classic "It never happened to me, so it must not exist" logical fallacy.
3. You're saying that people with malfunctioning controllers are embarrassing and subhuman.

Dang it, ConcernedApe. I've already spent dozens of hours on Stardew Valley, and now you're releasing another game for me to get hopelessly addicted to?

I bought a few Mii costumes, but I don't have any of the DLC fighters. I might get them at some point, it just isn't a priority for me.

@BTB20 And Nintendo might start their streak back up now that the OLED is out.

@VoidofLight Yeah, it is kind of dumb. I might just buy the expansion outright and then separately buy a 1 year subscription for NSO.

@VoidofLight I still have some gripes with the game, but my biggest complaint, the lack of content, has been almost completely solved. I'm not sure if I'll get the expansion pack alone or with NSO, but I'm definitely going to play it.

Honestly, I think that if you're planning to play the AC:NH expansion pack, then the price is worth it, but Nintendo should have included the option to go without the AC:NH content so that people who don't plan on playing it wouldn't have to pay so much for something that they won't play.

Welp, time to become addicted to this game again. I might even completely reset my island just so that I can start fresh.

I'm glad that Metroid is doing well. Also, although this isn't Nintendo related, compared to the other Xbox consoles, the Series S isn't doing too badly. Maybe Microsoft will finally experience some success in Japan.

I agree with @RabidCanuck that if Nintendo can't meet demand, then that isn't a modest start. That's like saying that the PS5 had a modest start because Sony couldn't keep up with demand.

@GamingBread I know. I like Super, but the fact that you had to play it in tabletop or docked was kind of annoying. Also the fact that you could only play it with a Joy-Con on its side, unless you wanted to shell out well over $500 for 8 Pro Controllers.

@Euler Maybe I would compare Paper Mario 64 to Smash 64, and TTYD to Melee. The former laid the groundwork for the series, and the latter expanded it greatly, Then again, that would be implying that the Smash Bros series has gone downhill ever since, which is false.

@CharlieGirl Being enslaved by robots would be perfectly okay if they're this cute.

@Aya-chan I agree. There's 0 chance that Nintendo would add this on for free, so I guess this is the next best choice, since if you don't want to pay the increased price, then you don't have to.

@Nin10dood Not to be rude, but why didn't you open your GameCube after all this time? You had a copy of the game, and a working system to play it on, so why not just play it on the GameCube?

I'm so glad that my brother never gave his copy of TTYD away, and I don't have to spend upwards of $100 to play it. It's a great game, and while I do like the modern Paper Marios, I prefer this game to them.

@Turnips You do know that that was disproved, right? It was a false rumour. NSO games are not going to be 50hz in PAL territories.

Realistically, Nintendo would have it be a $10 per year increase, which is fine by me.

Hmm, I guess the Switch OLED is exactly as advertised, and Nintendo isn't hiding something up their sleeves. No, they have to be releasing the 8K 120 FPS Super Switch Advance Pro X next week, or else they'll be Nintendoomed! There's no other way!

@NEStalgia The GamePad tastes like glossy plastic and broken teeth.

I most likely won't get one unless my Switch breaks, because there's just no reason for me to upgrade when my current system works fine. Still, I'm happy for everyone who has upgraded and is enjoying theirs so far.
