Minecraft being at the top isn't very surprising. It's the best selling game of all time, and it's infinitely replayable. Also, it's been released on every platform known to man since the PS3 and 360.

I'm absolutely going to pick up Miitopia. I had a blast with the demo, and I'm excited to continue my adventure.

I mean, this is kind of in the same league as that DC: Superhero Girls game. I'm not going to complain about it because I'm completely outside of its demographic.

Probably in 2020, because that was the year that I played both Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. My favorite games, in order, are Yoshi's Island, Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto 5, Super Mario Galaxy, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

I didn't read up on it enough. I saw the games and some other commenter's reactions and automatically assumed that these games were terrible shovelware titles. That's my mistake, and I apologize. I might try these games out, actually.

At this point, Nintendo's just screwing with us. They're like, here's some SNES shovelware titles that only 19 people have ever played. Have fun!

@mariomaster96 I do understand why they didn't release DLC for MK8DX; It's a port of a Wii U game that already got 2 rounds of DLC.

I might get another one once the one I got in 2018 looks like it is on its last legs.

It's so unnecessary and overpriced, but I kind of want to buy it. You know, just because.

If Nintendo doesn't reveal exactly what I want in their E3 presentation, then I will throw a tantrum on the internet.

@JohnnyC It does miff me a bit, too, but I doubt that they will do an anniversary of anything else other than LoZ.

@JohnnyC I feel like they probably still had the Mario anniversary stuff planned, but they just had to delay it because of COVID-19, rather than it being thrown together to distract from it. Besides that, I agree with you. Also, it is a bit disappointing that MK8DX isn't really getting much attention, but it's still selling extremely well, so I don't think that Nintendo feels the need to do more stuff for it. Also, I don't think that ports often get DLC, especially if the original game already got 2 rounds of it.

Great, now I can show off my completely empty (except for some random Mario items near my house) island, complete with tons of weeds!

@JohnnyC Please, just be patient. I doubt that Nintendo would overlap anniversaries. They'll probably do something for Zelda once the Mario celebrations are all wrapped up.

I quite like the PvZ shooter games, and it seems that EA didn't botch this one too badly. I might have gotten this if it wasn't on Game Pass.

This game came out at the perfect time, and kept a lot of people sane during the pandemic. Can't believe that it has been a year since.

I cannot wait for this whole pandemic thing to be over so that I can go to Japan to visit this place. Although I have to wonder, how many wrist injuries will there be from those interactive blocks?

I got the game in May. It was just a magical experience, and it definitely distracted from the pandemic. Nintendo truly was lucky that their game got delayed and released right when everything went to hell.

For me, it isn't that huge of a problem. Maybe it's because I've used both systems for so long, but when I switch from my XBox One to my Switch, and vice versa, I automatically switch my fingers to account for the different button layout.

Well, I would imagine that you would play lots of video games if you were cooped up in your tiny studio apartment all day.

Apart from being confused as to why Hello Kitty is a gorilla as opposed to, well, a kitty, this looks pretty cool. I'm not going to buy it but I can say that this looks really cool.

TBH, none of these have any chance of being acknowledged by Nintendo more than a simple tweet. You shouldn't expect Nintendo to throw a huge anniversary for something like Pikmin or Kid Icarus. To believe otherwise is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

I quite like the right one. It reminds me of that Tsum Tsum one where the home button has Mickey Mouse ears.
