@outsider83 I'm gonna be honest with you: I don't think the show's ever gonna be as good as it was in the early seasons. However, I feel that the writing and humour has significantly improved since Season 9, and that the show is still well worth a watch.

Whenever I see articles like this, I always wonder "What's the point?" You really can't wait 6 days for the game to release?

Tbh, at least people aren't foaming at the mouth as much as last year when the OLED was revealed. Those were annoying times.

Sooooo.... why were people in an uproar yesterday if we just got more news about the game?

There is a chance that it isn't in June, but Nintendo's definitely still going to have a Summer Direct.

@RiasGremory Maybe, but at this point I don't really care. I still have a ton of Switch games that I've yet to even buy, including (surprisingly) MK8DX.

Whenever a successor comes, it's sure as heck not coming this year, or probably even until late next year at the earliest.

Even though the 3D was really nothing more than a gimmick to me, the 3DS's library more than made up for it. Such a great console.

Wow, time really flies. I remember when I got my Switch in Christmas 2018. Now the Switch is 5 years old, and mine is still going strong. (Minus the drift)

Here we go again. People are going to take this leak and somehow come to believe that Nintendo's going to announce a successor to the Switch really soon, and then get all pissy when their unrealistic expectations aren't met.

@johnvboy I wouldn't say that the NSO expansion pack is peanuts. I mean, $50 is still quite a bit of money. However, with this MK8DX DLC, I definitely agree that the expansion pack is now actually a decent value.

I'm definitely really excited for LoA and Splatoon 3. I'm not sure if BOTW2 is going to be released this year, but I'm hoping it isn't delayed too much.

I've played Stardew for 35 hours, Animal Crossing for 52 hours, and Deltarune for 29 hours this year. My total play time is definitely a lot more reasonable than last year.

This comment section is entertaining to read. Pretty much everyone has differing opinions.

Besides the CD-i games and Zelda II, I never really liked Ocarina. I wouldn't say that it's objectively the worst, but it's just one of my personal least favourites.

@CharlieGirl Do you mean Mario Kart 7? Mario Kart 8 is 7 years old.

I think the games are decent, but I feel like they could have been better. However, I kind of feel like a lot of the criticisms NL made against this game are kind of subjective. Like, I don't really feel like the art style was a reason to take points away from the game, as it's really a "you like it or you don't" type of thing.

@Bon_Kurei I think that the games are still fun, but it's clear that R* could have put so much more effort into this. Also, the framerate issues are just unacceptable, and dramatically decrease the fun factor of the trilogy.

I'm glad that this came out. I would have already been content with all of the new content, but there's so much added with the DLC that it's insane. Also, my family's probably going to stage an intervention at some point because of just how much I've played this.

Probably in preparation for YouTube Rewind 2021. This is kind of stupid, especially since comments are the main form of harassment on YouTube, but it doesn't really affect me very much so I'm not going to lose sleep over this decision.

I can't wait until Splatoon 3 comes out. I've been saving up to get that game since it was announced.

Phew. I'm glad that Nintendo finally added this. It's not like anyone else plays on my Switch, but I definitely understand how the 1 island per save restriction can be really annoying to other people.

@Zag_Man Yeah, it would be stupid for them to not make the Switch's successor backwards compatible. The only home consoles post-N64 that weren't backwards compatible (including the Switch) were the GameCube and the Switch, both being the result of changes in the media format used.

It's too early to tell. They have a winning concept, so the logical thing would be to iterate on the Switch and keep improving it. However, this is Nintendo we're talking about. "Logical" isn't in their vocabulary. Whatever they come up with next, whether it succeeds or not, I'm confident that it will at least be fun and interesting.

Great. The Switch is one of my favourite consoles, so I'm glad that it's going to be supported for a long time.

@Oddball83 I kind of agree with you, but I disagree with the control gimmick being bad. I think that the new control options for Odyssey were amazing and really opened up new possibilities, especially for speedrunning. If Nintendo mixed that with maybe making the next 3D Mario harder, then I think that that would be great.

While fun, I don't think that Pokemon Go would really be a contender. Maybe Super Mario 64 world.

@thiz Maybe, but I wouldn't solely put the blame on Nintendo. You still have these people, who are apparently desperate to find out the plot of a remake of a 15 year old game.

Again, why? It's not like I'm upset, but why are people doing this? Why can't they wait a couple of weeks? Don't they realize that they're going to get their pants sued off by Game Freak/TPC?

@Jeronan Ah. It just seems kind of silly to me to "spoil" a 15 year old game and potentially get sued by Nintendo.

@Helloworld117 Yeah, I would love for the game to be supported longer. Oh well, at least the final update was well worth the wait.

@MagicMan But why? Why did they leak this knowing how trigger-happy Ninty is with lawsuits? They couldn't just wait a couple of weeks?
