I cant pre order it in my country, steam support outside the US is non existent.
Furthermore, the only model that will really do what this promises is the $529 model because it has SSD, and it still comes with no dock

Nintendo don't own a big bunch of studios and instead collaborate with other developers to release great software, take your hat off

To be fair, Nintendo was in the top 5 in 2017, 2018 and 2019, they're more consistent than most publishers
Sega was number 18 last year

2020 we had Mario kart live, 2019 Ring fit adventure and astral chain, 2018 had Labo, 2017 had ARMS and botw.
They do come out with a new in house experimental title every year, so I don't think this write up is fair. You can't keep a video game company alive without having a bedrock that ppl keep coming back to.
If you keep innovating, you can misplace how people identify you

The biggest take away here is Disgaea, a game that's always been synonymous with PlayStation, is now performing better on a Nintendo platform.
It's a small game but it's still noteworthy, because it's a result of Sony's shift away from Japan.

@Dragwhite if you're looking to start with a complete trilogy start with Dusk, it's aesthetically and mechanically my favourite and welcoming to newcomers.
Ryza is also a great entry point. I wouldn't start with the Arland games, they can be a little intimidating

Best family game Fall guys over animal crossing? PC game of the year is Death Stranding over Half life or Crusader Kings 3? What a joke of a list.

Want Hades to win but Animal Crossing makes the most sense in that list, there hasn't been something like this that's reach both gamers and non gamers alike for a while.
Last of us 2 is a technical marvel with uneven storytelling.
Ghost of Tsushima is great but is just a really pretty action adventure game, despite vocal Sony fans calling it the second coming.
And FF7 remake is, well, FF7 remake.
If Animal Crossing wins it'll annoy alot of 'hardcore' gamers, and that's good, most could use a kick in the teeth.

Insane numbers, almost 13 million and it's not even the holiday season, it makes me happy to see this company I love do so well.
It'll beat the 3ds before the year is out I'm sure

If this came out the same week as Mario 3d all stars it wouldn't stand a chance.
Crash Bandicoot has always been a distant third when compared to Mario and Sonic, his games are average at best.

That's a little disappointing but I can't be mad at Square Enix.
They've been good to Switch, giving us a ton of Final fantasy games, Octopath Traveller, DQ11, all the games by Tokyo rpg factory, DQ builders, the upcoming Bravely Default 2, seriously they're one of its biggest third party supporters

Don't get the anger over it, I think the limited release is more about selling Switches this holiday season than selling old Mario games, and I have nothing against that.
