I cant pre order it in my country, steam support outside the US is non existent. Furthermore, the only model that will really do what this promises is the $529 model because it has SSD, and it still comes with no dock I'm interested but there's far too many 'buts'
@Dezzy70
Animal crossing? Link's awakening remake? The upcoming botw 2 and Splatoon 3? Xenoblade games? Smash Bros?
Seriously stop pushing this is bs narrative that they're lazy or absent.
Nintendo don't own a big bunch of studios and instead collaborate with other developers to release great software, take your hat off
2020 we had Mario kart live, 2019 Ring fit adventure and astral chain, 2018 had Labo, 2017 had ARMS and botw. They do come out with a new in house experimental title every year, so I don't think this write up is fair. You can't keep a video game company alive without having a bedrock that ppl keep coming back to. If you keep innovating, you can misplace how people identify you
The biggest take away here is Disgaea, a game that's always been synonymous with PlayStation, is now performing better on a Nintendo platform. It's a small game but it's still noteworthy, because it's a result of Sony's shift away from Japan.
@Dragwhite if you're looking to start with a complete trilogy start with Dusk, it's aesthetically and mechanically my favourite and welcoming to newcomers. Ryza is also a great entry point. I wouldn't start with the Arland games, they can be a little intimidating
@JR150 It was indeed localised by Atlus themselves and not Nintendo's treehouse division, this is a very often overlooked point by the puritan crusaders that crapped on this great rpg
Want Hades to win but Animal Crossing makes the most sense in that list, there hasn't been something like this that's reach both gamers and non gamers alike for a while. Last of us 2 is a technical marvel with uneven storytelling. Ghost of Tsushima is great but is just a really pretty action adventure game, despite vocal Sony fans calling it the second coming. And FF7 remake is, well, FF7 remake. If Animal Crossing wins it'll annoy alot of 'hardcore' gamers, and that's good, most could use a kick in the teeth.
Insane numbers, almost 13 million and it's not even the holiday season, it makes me happy to see this company I love do so well. It'll beat the 3ds before the year is out I'm sure
If this came out the same week as Mario 3d all stars it wouldn't stand a chance.
Crash Bandicoot has always been a distant third when compared to Mario and Sonic, his games are average at best.
Lazy? Didn't Nintendo build the emulator these games run on? You'd think people had never seen a bug in a video game before.
This is just as bad as the Sword and Shield complaints of Nintendo not working hard enough, it's so rude.
They aren't your fking contractors guys, they don't send you a timesheet, get over yourselves
That's a little disappointing but I can't be mad at Square Enix. They've been good to Switch, giving us a ton of Final fantasy games, Octopath Traveller, DQ11, all the games by Tokyo rpg factory, DQ builders, the upcoming Bravely Default 2, seriously they're one of its biggest third party supporters
Don't get the anger over it, I think the limited release is more about selling Switches this holiday season than selling old Mario games, and I have nothing against that. Everyone seems to be angry for someone else they don't know
When hacking a system you own, sure I agree.
But making a profit selling hacked systems, and then these customers using that system to play games they didnt pay to own?
Sorry guys, that's something they have every right to crack down on, its shady.
You're in it for the money, not bleeding hearts trying to free the masses
@NoTinderLife there arent many third party games exclusive to other systems either, but as far as exclusives go Nintendos Switch will likely end up far ahead of the other systems
@NoTinderLife thats missing the fact that the Switch has released exclusive software at a faster pace than the other two systems on the market by a large margin. Selectively calling out third parties for being lazy isn't Nintendos failing
It's on pace with ps4 sales, so surpassing the Wii is a possibility Also considering Nintendo owns the handheld market, and especially considering how legendary its exclusive library will be
Honestly havent noticed the bugs, very happy with it Upgrading the textures and to a widescreen presentation is great, instead of giving us a 4:3 ratio and an unplayable fast forward button like those rubbish final fantasy ports

@JR150 Genuinely hope so, the Switch has been magic for niche genres
Re: Atlus Has Seven "Project" Reveals Planned For Persona's 25th Anniversary
If Atlus likes money, they have a history looking like they don't, games on the biggest platform out today should be a no brainer
Re: Random: The Internet Reacts To The New Switch OLED Model

Re: Sega Tops Metacritic's 2020 Publisher Rankings, Nintendo Squeezes Into Top Ten
To be fair, Nintendo was in the top 5 in 2017, 2018 and 2019, they're more consistent than most publishers
Sega was number 18 last year

Re: Japanese Charts: Momotaro Dentetsu Beats Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity To Number One
Stock shortages or not the Switch will continue to dominate in Japan, it ran laps around the PS4, this gen won't be any different
Re: Japanese Charts: Momotaro Dentetsu Beats Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity To Number One
@Menchi Yeah stock shortages, that makes the Sony defence force feel better after claiming the Switch would die once next gen arrives
Re: Animal Crossing Wins Nintendo Game Of The Year At The Golden Joysticks, Here Are All The Winners
Best family game Fall guys over animal crossing? PC game of the year is Death Stranding over Half life or Crusader Kings 3? What a joke of a list.

Re: Nintendo Switch Sales Surpass 61 Million, Equalling The Mighty NES
What a beast, I can see it hitting or even surpassing wii.
I love this system, very happy for Nintendo
Re: Nintendo Switch Sales Surpass 61 Million, Equalling The Mighty NES
@RainbowGazelle Because it's both a handheld and a home console, that much should be obvious.

Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Sold 55.77 Million Units Worldwide
@NoTinderLife Every modern system is full of ports and remasters
Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Sold 55.77 Million Units Worldwide
Still keeping pace with ps4, and the Switch is a console everyone thought wouldnt make it to 30 million.
Re: Angry Players Are Starting To Review-Bomb Animal Crossing: New Horizons
